Buyers beware of Nebraska sales tax on out of state buyers. Have to pay for the item and the buyers premium of 17% plus 7.5% tax and thats BS.Read small print. And no I have never been charged sales tax from other out of state proxibid auctions.

I have used Proxibid for the last 5 years now and they are great. Remember, you are dealing with an auction company so they may have their own rules and information they need. Proxibid and HiBid are both reputable companies who are easy to deal with.

Purchased item thru online auction held by another company (Dana Terrell as the auctioneer).I was the winning bidder and paid within 24 hours. Dana Terrell (Pro Auction Co.) never returned phone calls after the payment was made and the item in all took over 6 weeks to get delivered. Well as no contact was made with Dana he appeared to be taking money and never shipping products out. It wasn’t until I rescinded the payment did another employee contact me and the item was delivered.If you can avoid Dana Terrell it would be in your best interest. He filed a complaint after I rescinded payment due to his failure to ship the product and blacklisted me from the auction site (Proxibid) which has yet to remove it as this issue was settled (no thanks to Dana).Pro bud has been no help and they don’t care about anything but the bottom line. The issue was settled and Proxibid has failed to close this issue that has already been settled. I’d choose another auction company on both sides and stay away from these two companies.

We have been in the auction and retail business for more than 50 years. Of all the online auction platforms, this has got to be the worst. Placing a high bid means nothing. Among several other bumps in the road, this last problem took the cake.We placed a high bid for two cannons that were with Rock Island Auction in Indiana which was not honored. Our high bid number was the winning bid, however an onsite person won the bid instead of ours. When we contacted Proxibid, as the auction house instructed us to do, besides bad attitudes and poor service, we were given the run around and absolutely no solution. Funny enough, the supervisor we spoke to had never even been to an auction and didnt know how an auction ran...speaking of tie bids in an auction... WHAAAAT?When you place your bid with Proxibid, they are taking on a fiduciary responsibility to place your bid for you... but, they DO NOT take responsibility if an issue arises.PROXIBID IS NOT A BUYER FRIENDLY PLATFORM. Stay away, your bids are not protected.

The website now doesnt ever seem to work, I loose lots of bids because I cant log in to bid live because the system is always down. Nobody ever answers the customer service line so poor quality and poor service, Ill be cancelling my account over this nonsense, if you want people to use your services you should at least create a site that works. Obviously serving the customer is secondary for these guys.

I tried multiple ways, using every method i could think of to contact the company, phone, email, facebook, instagram, and not a single reponse to anything. Spent over an hour on the phone on hold and no one ever picked up.

Very dishonest bidding platform!!!! Do not leave a high bid!!! PROXIBID will max out your bid for maximum commission!!! Ran my bid up in $5,000 increments. Told me on the phone they didnt care just pay my bill!!!

Signed up and bid on a couple items, only to be Black Flagged as they could not verify my new address... New four years ago. They demanded more sensitive information so I could do business with them. Avoid this company, no auction company needs this much information.

Just a broker to shave commissions. HORRIBLE propeller heads to make them money!! call them and they say we DONT care as long as auction sites use us!!!They say not enough people care if we ARE BAD!!
