Wow. So very disappointing. I have used Doug for over 20 years. He has usually done a good job at a fair price. As a realtor, I have referred him many times to clients and friends. Most of them have been satisfied, some commenting on his edgy disposition. After my personal experience today, I am taking him off my “A” list. We are hosting my husband’s staff Christmas party. Doug was scheduled to clean at 9 am. I left a note when I left for work and left my daughter and a friend sleeping on the couch after an early airport run. Apparently, their presence scared Doug. He called me screaming and swearing at me stating that he would never clean my carpets again! I apologized profusely and he hung up on me. When I tried to call him back he would not pick up. Thankfully, Big Red Carpet Care was able to send a crew out an hour later to get the job done. They were very reasonable and kind. I got all three rooms done for $121 and was treated with kindness and respect. I will miss you, Doug, but can’t risk my clients being treated that way.

Doug always does a great job. He knows alot about carpet care and has always kept our carpet and stairs looking like new. I have recommended Doug dozens of times and will continue to do so.

Weve used Doug in the past and have been pleased. We currently have a rental house that needs the carpets cleaned, so I called Doug. He scheduled the cleaning for today and I scheduled my new tenants to move in this Friday. I just got a call from Doug saying that when he got to the house, he could not do the job because the carpets were too far gone. What?? The carpets are only 3 years old and although its a rental property, they are NOT in that bad of shape. He was very strange about it and I even asked him if there was something I was missing and he said, No, I just dont do carpets that are in bad shape. Wow. Ive now been left in a huge bind as I have to scramble to find another company who can clean the carpets today or tomorrow at the latest for tenants to move in Friday. Very disappointed to say the least. I have friends and neighbors who have used Doug but I will share with them this experience and encourage them to look elsewhere for their carpet cleaning needs from now on.

Doug did an amazing job in our house! All the old pet stains are gone! Prices are fair, and he was on time!
