After talking to all 3 big box home improvement stores (never again!) I reached out to Tatanka and was blown away by their service, pricing and expertise. These guys are real professionals and they got our small countertop project completed so fast! Were still amazed by their service and love the results. Highly recommended!!!

Professional, pleasant, timely and efficient. The granite looks great. Install went perfect. Holes for faucets in exact the correct spots.Jay was helpful in quality pieces of granite chosen. He is a good educator. Not all stone is useable although it is being sold. He saved us from two blunders. He is the whole package. He won’t fabricate pieces that are not quality.Highly highly recommend!Oh and lastly he is reasonabley priced!

After calling another premier stone company I was just looking for some remnants and was told there was a 30 ft2 minimum...! I was only looking for a remnant to replace my small vanity top. The guys at Tatanka Stone said come on over we have a good selection to choose from. We found what we were looking for and they did a great job and had it installe in less than a week! Happy with the finished product.

Lets remodel the kitchen! How hard can it be?!We are working without a contractor, so we had a lot of questions. Jay and Josiah were patient when we were choosing the stone for the countertops, making design decisions, and asking, whats the next step? Pricing was competitive and the estimated time to completion was spot on. The install crew was polite and professional, cleaned as they worked, and took extra care as they prepped and leveled. Probably extra tricky with our settled house and original cabinets.If we ever have to do this again, we would definitely return to Tatanka.

After much research and interviewing of granite fabricators about their approach to cutting and fitting kitchen countertops we chose Tatanka Stone. Jays shop did a wonderful job cutting and installing our granite slab. Ask other shops where they place the seams around the kitchen sink. At Jays shop they do it right. His work is a piece of art when its done. Very pleased!

His installation crews are qualified at solving the myriad of installation details that can create a big problem if not addressed correctly. Very disappointed. Employees pushed granite SO hard. I wanted quartz and they were insistent that it was inferior to granite. Will never go back!! Just wanted a quote and wasn’t even able to get that.

Tatanka Stone installed our granite kitchen counter tops about 3 years ago and we could not be happier with their work. The counter tops look beautiful! I was most impressed with the seams in the counter tops. We have a large U shaped counter and Tatanka used European mitre joints which almost hide the seams. Very professional! You can trust Jay Irwin and his staff to give you a top notch installation!

I am remodeling contractor who consistently sub-contracts work to and recommends Jay. He is very qualified and experienced. He and his installers to do a good job and I have never heard a legitimate complaint against him that he do not completely resolve.

Had Jay and his co worker come out and look at a mess that was left by another installer known as Mr. GR-----e. They were very knowledgeable and professional. They improved the problem substantially at a very reasonable price. We will be using them soon to do our bathroom counters

We have used Tatonka Stone on a variety of projects as a subcontractor to furnish and install countertops with great success . Over the past five years of projects ranging from 15,000 to 1200 dollars , they have performed very well. Jay is a busy business owner who tries hard to please his customer. I would recommend this company to our clients.

Would love to give this company a good review. Heard some good things about them. However I went by their business twice during their posted hours and no one was there. Called and got Jay. Im assuming the owner. Was told to just email them with a diagram of what I wanted and all the measurements and he would get back to me. Most places send someone out to do that for you but ok. I did that. Didnt hear anything back. So I called again and left a message. Got an email back a day later asking some questions. I answered them and was told he would email me a quote after he called some people the next day. Never heard from him again.I took my $4000 countertop job to a company that could give me the time of day. If they cant even be professional while talking to me about a job I doubt their ability to complete the job in a professional manner.

They did a great job in working with us to find the right stone and to get it installed. Service is fast and amazingly well done.

Jay Irwin, owner of Tatanka Stone Inc., is absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL, CONDESCENDING and RUDE! He cut my piece of granite wrong TWICE and responded, first, by throwing a tantrum (yelling at my contractor, wagging his finger) and next by acting as if he were doing me a favor by attempting to correct his own mistakes!! What a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Proceed with caution in all dealings with Mr. Irwin as his ARROGANCE and SHORT FUSE make him extremely UNPREDICTABLE.

We are so happy with our countertops! We appreciated the help through the process from Josiah helping us select a slab to an amazing install team (Tyler & Justin) paying attention to the fine details. They even resealed our older granite countertops while they were here. Prices were very competitive as well.

We appreciated Jay, he was helpful and very knowledgeable. After we chose our granite, I wondered how it would look by the seam. The slabs were quite varied from top to bottom but they did a terrific job matching the two sheets. We are very happy with the finished product!
