The process was challenging, but overall we are extremely happy with our bathroom remodel from Bath Planet. They were very helpful with design ideas, gave us a solid and reliable estimate of the costs, and the finished work is beautiful. There were some communication issues between the workmen and the main office, and estimated completion time was significantly off base; however, despite these issues, I would recommend this company for your next bathroom project.What we love the most: the vanity and the shower. We have an old house with one bathroom, and it’s in an odd place with odd dimensions (for example, the shower is underneath a staircase, and the location of the sink plumbing made the vanity selection a bit tricky). The original agent with whom we spoke gave us some terrific ideas for these problematic spaces, and we are quite pleased with how they look and function. The design choices they helped us make give the whole room a kind of cohesion it didn’t have before; it looks well-conceived instead of just kind of thrown together.The people who did the actual work were very friendly and professional. One of the things I appreciated most was that they were conscientious about cleaning up. They listened to our questions and concerns with great patience, communicated well and completed the work with great efficiency. I really can’t compliment the workers enough on their courtesy and professionalism.As with any remodeling job, we did encounter a few problems. The original time estimate was 3-5 days. The actual work took 14 working days to complete. When I expressed my frustration to one of the workmen, he did say that they guys in the office often didn’t understand how much time individual aspects of the job required. The job began in mid-June was not completed until mid-August, but a few of the issues couldn’t be helped; the original bathtub they’d brought to install had a crack on the edge, so they had to order a new one, and that took 5 or 6 weeks. A towel rack they’d ordered was missing a bracket and that also took some time to reorder. One of the shower fixtures had some nasty spots that I could not remove so they finally just replaced it. So do plan on the possibility of the job taking longer than the original estimate.There were also some communication problems between the workmen and the main office. We’d ordered a hand-held sprayer for the bathtub, and that wasn’t on the work order, so that had to be resolved. We’d also ordered some inset panels to be installed in the closet doors, and they just forgot all about those; it turned out OK because when work was nearing completion we decided we didn’t really need them, and it was easy to get that taken off our bill. And it was important for us to know exactly when they were coming to work; with one bathroom in the house, we needed to be in the bathroom before they arrived for the day. Most times they called to let us know, but a few times that slipped through the cracks.So while the process was a bit of a mixed bag, we are very happy with the results, and we recommend Bath Planet for your next bathroom project.

Bath Planet installed our shower yesterday and today, easily within the window specified. There was a substantial wait between signing and the install, but it is 2020. The installers were INCREDIBLY courteous and professional. The shower looks fantastic! If we have any issues, Ill report back, but so far, were really satisfied...

Joe did a great job of explaining the product and the work to be done. We are excited to completing the project, knowing the quality of materials and workmanship that we will be receiving.

Bath Planet recently completed a bath remodel in our 1896 farm house. They added a bathroom in the basement, which didnt originally have one, and gutted the main bathroom on the second floor. The results are nothing but amazing! The main bathroom includes new everything, including a walk in shower, beautiful flooring, double sinks and toilet. Its so fabulous and we cant say enough about the wonderful workmanship provided by Justin and Jayden, as well as the high quality of the products installed. Bath Planets staff, including Joe, who did the design and estimation, plus Jerry and Tom and others, are so courteous and pleasant. We would recommend Bath Planet highly to anyone wanting a bathroom remodel.

Jay has a very great work ethic, which is hard to find nowadays. Jay answered any questions we had. Jay asked our opinion on things which meant to us that he respects the people he is doing work for. Jay is at the top of the list on work ethic and communication which is very important to us. Jay and Ronnie were both polite and courteous to us. Bath Planet removed tub and replaced with a walk in shower, plus installed a new floor and toilet. Tom and Ben were a great team. At the end of the first day, the new floor and toilet were installed so we were able to use it. Tools, etc were neatly stacked and out of our way until the next day. Also, our carpet was covered while they were working. The team was punctual and professional. We are extremely pleased with our “new bathroom”. Thanks to Shelly, who took a lot of calls from me and explained everything so very patiently, and also to Tom and Ben for your great workmanship. You all ROCK!!! Five Stars to all of you.

Bath Planet is finishing up a 2 bathroom upgrade today. My experience has been 100% positive from the beginning consult through the final touchesI can’t say enough about Jay and crew (JJ). They did an amazing job, while also being on time and very friendly and respectful. They even showed up during a snowstorm! Jay’s hard work and attention to detail resulted in a beautiful result in less than 4 days! The upgrades included new shower, flooring, vanity tops, light and water fixtures, toilets, hardware and drywall work. The materials are high quality. I am pleased with the look, but they are more concerned with getting new customers than taking care of the ones they already have. Caulking keeps coming loose and have been trying to get them out for over a month to fix it. If I do it it will void the warrenty! Very poor Customer care after they get your business. Full of empty promises!

Bath Planet remodeled our bathroom four years ago. We had the bathroom redone as water was leaking into the kitchen from the drain of the shower. Not only did they fix the problem but they made our bathroom look wonderful. They redid the the lights, mirror, floor and anything we wanted their help with. Just recently we had water drain in the kitchen in the same location as before. Bath Planet came out no questions asked and fixed it without any issues or cost. So far so good - we had our 2nd meeting with Joe from Bath Planet to choose the options we want for our bathroom remodel. Joe helped us come to a decision on what we wanted and got it done for the original estimated cost. He made the process easy and efficient. We are looking forward to having our bathroom remodel completed in a few weeks.

It’s been 3 years of disappointment. Bathtub has leaked the entire time. I had them out multiple times. Once the owner told me it was normal for tubs to leak into the basement and ruin the ceiling tiles. It leaks through the overflow valve and the owner thinks this is normal. Been a very eye opening experience. I could state many reasons this was a disappointment. Wish I would have spent my money elsewhere.

Had a kind of rocky start because I signed my contract in May and wasnt done with the project until August, but the end result is beautiful. The guys did their best to protect my rugs and property by covering everything with drop cloths. Checked with other companies and their prices are comparable. I will enjoy my shower for years to come!!!

I am so pleased to have found Bath Planet! We needed a complete remodel of the master bathroom, which consisted of tearing out a tile shower, a separate soaker tub, double vanity with a tile countertop, and flooring. We definitely did not want tile again because it became impossible to keep clean, especially in the shower. This was a major remodel project that required the bathroom to be completely gutted, and Bath Planet handled every single detail. The project, which was no small task, was finished in one week with the exception of the shower glass. Everything else had to be complete in order to determine the exact dimensions needed to custom-produce the glass. Once that was installed, we had a beautiful new huge walk-in shower. The material Bath Planet uses is infinitely easier to clean than tile, and it’s much prettier. Not only do we love the new shower, the rest of the bathroom is just as wonderful – the place has been transformed.The service we received from Bath Planet was also excellent. Joe, our consultant, was amazing at helping us select colors and materials and at making design suggestions based on the specific look we wanted to achieve. Any major remodel project like this is disruptive and messy, but Bath Planet did everything possible to keep it to a minimum. The crew always showed up on time and were friendly and professional. They also coordinated all the subcontract work such as plumbing and electrical, which was included in the price. We had to pay extra only for faucets, light fixtures, towel bars, and mirrors. We got to select whatever we wanted from the stores of our choice, and Bath Planet took care of the installation for no additional charge.We are so pleased with their high quality work and their excellent customer service that we are having them back to remodel the guest bathroom!

I just had my bathroom upgraded by Bath Planet and it turned out awesome. The gentlemen they sent to do the work were very professional and polite. They answered every question I had and made sure to get my preferences before installing some of the fixtures and even the cabinet. We called Bath Planet of Nebraska after chatting with them at the Omaha Home Show. Their salesman Vic came to our home and gave us an estimate. We were happy with the estimate as they were very comparable to other bathroom renovators. Dan and his crew arrived early on a Wednesday morning and the entire project was completed by Thursday afternoon. They were very diligent in making sure the dust did not go everywhere and cleaned everything up each day they were there. We had one little hiccup, but it was resolved quickly and professionally.Shelly their office manager is also very knowledgeable and was a fantastic help. We would definitely recommend them for any type of bathroom renovation. GREAT JOB !!

Bath Planet took advantage of disabled seniors. Sold windows for three times the NORMAL price. After two weeks of inactivity, the never ordered anything or even came over for a measurement, they charged almost $1100 (30%), to cancel. They never measured, never ordered and never got back to me. Absolutely NOTHING DONE. Thats pretty good wages for someone who only spent an hour in your home. Would NOT even consider negotiating a settlement. Recommend staying away from these people - it will only lead to trouble.After a week of asking for that portion of my overpayment (above and beyond their 30% cancellation fee) they finally SAID they sent me my payment. Still have not received. Maybe I should get a 30% fee for their uncaring lateness. Will never happen. Recommend staying away from disreputable businesses..

We had BathPlanet do our bathroom. I promised them I would write a review. Every time I walk in there I get a good feeling. The lady at the front desk told me it was family owned, I like that. There were multiple issues with the install of our tub/shower, making a very expensive project very disappointing. I repeatedly asked the installer not to walk on top of the tub in wet, dirty, gravel laden shoes, but he continued to do so. They also walked on the hall carpet, leaving it wet and dirty. The wall panels were not cut correctly, leaving a gap at the bottom of the tub which was filled with caulk. We ordered the wave design tub but received a plain front tub. The salesman didnt know that the wave front only came in one depth, so we accepted what was sent and the installer promised that we would be sent a $200 Visa card for the inconvenience.We stopped payment on the second check pending correction of the workmanship issues. A second installer came to correct the issue with the bad cuts, and he also stated we would receive a $200 gift card. 5 months later and no gift card has been received. Again, very disappointing. We hired a contractor to complete the remodel of the main bath, and the first thing he told us was that he could have done the whole bathroom for what we paid to Bath Planet. Lesson learned.I do not recommend this company.

Last year I had Bath Planet do our windows. Before they came, we had two othet major companies do an estimate on the same windows. I am happy to tell you that I had great value for the buck in comparison. Not only that but they were very efficient, informative, courteous and professional. I am looking forward to do the windows on the other side of the house and my bathrooms.

Their commercial, we are looking for 50 people to participate in our bath evaluation program. Aka we want to send out or top salesman to your house to sell you a new bathroom and wont take no for an answer. I cant stand when companies twist words around to make you feel like your getting something special when all they are doing is sending a sleezy door to door salesman to your house.

Very dissatisfied. After ripping out my old shower they did not have all the right materials. Spent another week without a shower. The job was completed but with cheaper fixtures than what was ordered or paid for. Very expensive for what you get.

They were professional. Bathroom was completed on time. We are extremely pleased with the end result.

First I called the number in the Omaha Magazine 3X and each time they picked up and hung up on me. So I googled them and found another number. Then after giving her all my information she tells me that they will not come out unless my husband is here as well. I told her I work from home and he travels so it would just be me. She said they wouldnt work with me. WOW...that is horrible customer service and their loss to lose out on all 3 bathrooms I wanted done.

This is our 3rd review of the problems we are/ have been experiencing with Bath Planet if Omaha, yet none of these reviews are neither addressed by Bath Planet nor are the reviews ever posted for theirs to see. Long story short we had a walk-in shower installed for 94 year old mother who had come to live with us. Came with a bench & grab bar for safety purposes. Shower completed January 5, 2018. We allowed all caulking to dry well beyond recommended 48 hrs. First shower, mom got in shower & her feet were slipping but I was there to to hold her up then get seated on the bench. Within minutes my mother slid right off the bench as if she was sitting on oil. It took me having to get some help to to get her off the shower floor. Even the person helping was slipping on the floor and they had their shoes on. 3 different people walked on the floor & had a hard time keeping their balance. For 3 weeks I placed calls to Shelly in the office, Jake one of the owners who had installed it & Tom another of the owners, with no results. During this 3 weeks our final payment of $3500.00 was never put through our account with us thinking they were being professionals & not wanting to cash it until the problem was rectified. 3 weeks to the day after install the check came through. I went to bank & they advised me to put a hold on the check until someone contacted us & cane out to inspect & fix the problem. Week 4 came & once they realized the funds were on hold I started getting phone calls. During this time my husband had called corporate office in Lubertyvill IL & after explaining all of this she told my husband that for someone that age a special application could have been put into the acrylic when it was being manufactured, but that wasn’t on ours. She said to get with local reps so they could file an incident, that the acrylic could me faulty. After 3 more weeks, Tom one of the owners came out & my husband told, walk in there with your shoes & you’ll see it’s like oil. Tom said that is wasn’t too slippery but that he had a special application from Bath Planet that would eliminate the slippery floor & bench. He applied it with roller, leaving dirt particles, bubbles & discoloration on floor/bench. He said this also had a lifetime warranty. He then told my husband in 24 hrs he should apply a 2nd coat. This product we found out was bought on the internet for $29.95 & had a 1-3 year life on it. We did not apply 2nd coat & have found the product that will safely remove this product so that we can get a report filed on our “slick oil floor & bench”. I’m so disappointed & 7 weeks later still can’t use this shower as my mom is scared. By the way not one person from Bath Planet ever asked if my mom was ok despite’s each one being told via their voicemails. We are now resorting to having an independent person try & resolve what Bath Planet will not do for us.

We were scheduled for a 4pm appointment today and at 4:20 I called and spoke to Shelly and she said shed contact the employee that was to be here at 4pm. He hadnt called. He called right back after she sent him a text. He said he knew that I was questionable on going with Bath Planet having had Rebath out about 4 months ago with prices right at $10,000 for a tub/shower and shower replacement. Shelly told me when we confirmed the appointment that she thought Bath Planet could beat Rebaths price.The sales guy told me that the the tub/shower would run about $6800 and the shower would be about $6500 with all the discounts that are running currently. He did say hed take off about $800 for not getting a shower door.Sorry to say that my wife is pretty set on having our work done by professionals instead of me and with the salesperson not even giving me any advance notice that hed be late....over 2 hours late until he was contacted by Shelly to remind him of the 4pm appointment. 1st Impressions are a hard thing to get rid of and my guess is that nobody in management will contact us about this.Pat Howell
