This is not a company but robberies in rental name. They usually like the immigrants and minorities. And they never return the deposit. They will even send you phony bills years after and report to the credit reporting agencies through collection agencies that are like them. I got an adverse account with experian two years after i left them and the payment receipt is still in my pocket. They are hate killed people, they are anti immigrant, anti islam, anti minority. They use some members of the OPD. If you ask something they will call the police to make you out of the office(not all the police officers but some members they relate)

This experience was nothing short from amazing. I only have dealt with the company for less than week. I seen the house, went home and debated, and applied. I knew within days if I was approved. They also addressed all concerns I had with the property prior to taking my deposit. There hasnt been anything hidden with the rental agreement. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I thank Anna the most for making me feeling comfortable and Alejandra for your good attitude and pleasant tone. I will be sending more referrals your way. Good customer service is hard to find! Thank you OPPM, I love my new home!

Update:By the way, I was recently in the area again and they say there under new management, but as long as D Thompson Realty is the owners, nothing will change. The experiences I outline below were under D Thompson Realty management. I just want to consumers to know the truth.D Thompson Realty, Concord Bridge Apartments was the worst living experience I have had. I was talked down to, cheated out of money, lived with mold around the medal window frames (which will be painted over for new residents, but no actual fix to the problem), cockroaches, termites, wasps, and bird mites. They would give keys to maintenance and without notice or signs they would walk in if it was not for additional secure measures such as a chain stop, then they choose to identify who they were. Realty will find any loopholes they can, draw you in, and have an answer for everything (if you have the pleasure to get a hold of them). This property management also raises prices on you, if not by rent it is through other odd charges. For example, going from 25-35 dollars in water to over $70 for water, I dont think so. All in all, they will redo the apartments and make everything sound fresh, but look a little deeper and it is all an illusion.

These people are nothing but a joke .I will never refer anyone to this company. We exited a house cleaner than it was when we moved in . The maintenance guy put up some used patio blinds the company charged us for them. Holes in patio screens we are adults why in the hell would we poke holes in the screen they charged us. Im glad I will never or anyone i know will deal with D Thompson Reality.

Sucks I had to give them a star.. worst company ever worst people!!!!!! They rent out bug infested houses!!!!!!! Do not rent from this company they are disgusting people. We lost everything because of them!!!!!! I hope horrible things happen to all of them.. bed bugs and roaches!!!!! Stay away from them!!!!!!!

Not a very tight ship being run here at D. Thompson Realty. Nobody is on the same page about anything and the clown running the place could not be bothered to help out a potential client. If professionalism, maturity and class are qualities you desire when renting property, avoid this company at all costs.

No one answers the phone. Cant get a hold of anyone for agreement questions. But when they want you to sign a lease they answer your calls.They also raised our water bill to 65 when it averaged to be about 27 a month. Ridiculous company. I hate them.Reported to the BBB.Updated- if I could give negative stars I would.Not only did they raise the water bill over twice what we used to pay, the new owner is raising everyones rent an extra 40 bucks.When I started here I paid 675 for a 2 bedroom (a year ago)Now, with a new lease (we were gonna go month to month so we could leave as soon as we saved up, but they can raise your rent monthly if they so choose)We have to pay 40 just to sign the darn thing.And they are raising out rent 55 a month. So, 740, plus cat rent of 40 (we were originally told it was only 10 per cat, by the way) , plus 65 for 2 people for water (if you have 2 people in a 1 bedroom its only 50?)So, it is going up over 100$ because thats the going rate for these apartmentsWhen most of our neighbors smoke so much weed and the hallways are barely patched up. I know Im not gonna get a deposit back, and maintenance hasnt fixed anything Ive needed them to.

This company was okay before new management OPPM took over they were formerly D. Thompson Realty. If you want to live here they want you to sign a 15 month lease because they don’t want you to move out in the winter. I wish I would’ve move last August when my lease was up. They will charge you $150 to unclog your drain. $75 for the sink and $75 for the tub. Snow removal is HORRIBLE! This is my 2nd year here, I had no issues with getting to work in the morning until now. The office staff does not return your call so don’t leave a message. They are some of the things I have noticed. I don’t wright reviews or complain much. But they are messing with my money when I can’t work and charging me for normal issues (clog drains) when I’ve been here for over a year. Oh the let tell you if Steve the handy man come in you apartment and does work. Hide your towels he will use them to clean up his mess.

This company has lied and manipulated us from the start. Service men never actually come, have not had a single one yet for the move in issues when I arrived. AC broken, mold and mildew everywhere, and they always sincerely want to fix it when on to phone or in person at the office, but then never actually show up. They say the maintenance can not get it over and over. So, when I use the keys they gave me, and they have the same ones, how is this even a possible excuse? The truth is, they just tell you what they need to to get you to leave them alone, and off the phone. When eventually the tenant realized try arent going to show, they have literally screened my calls ...... Meaning they will send it to voicemail time and time again. I call 2 minutes later from a friends phone, and miraculously , they answer.This group of people is crooked as can be. You will be sorry if you rent from them. They are textbook slum lords.DO NOT RENT FROM D. THOMPSON REALITY!

Awful. In the past 15 years of renting, I have never had landlords that were as negligent, dishonest and rude as D Thompson and their staff. Repairs can take weeks. This means that someone might come into your home between 9am and 5pm for WEEKS. One time they came in while I was in the shower and didnt leave. I felt very uncomfortable in my home after that.Office workers will hang up on you. Repair men do not carry id or wear uniforms. Property was not maintained. Drug selling in our building and in the lots. Smell of marijuana is common. If you are a drug dealer, this is a great place to live. If you think I am making this up, see other reviews on apartment rating sites and you will see there is a pattern in D Thompson and how they treat their tenants.They will respond to this post with, We are BBB A+... Thats a great response, but it means nothing.

We rented from them for three years, during the three years we were never late and actually left the home in better condition than we found it. I have served in the United States Army for 13 years so I would say I have dealt with various rental companies, after I moved out there attitude completely changed. The Nebraska revised statute 76-1416 Chapter 76-1417 The balance, if any, and a written itemization shall be delivered or mailed to the tenant within fourteen days after demand and designation of the location where payment may be made or mailed when I informed them of this they informed me that they are working through some issues and they have not returned my phone call because they have been busy and she will call me back when she has an answer but could not give me a date or time. I found them to be highly unprofessional and did not care about you because in reality they didn’t need you anymore since you have moved out of their property. If you are military and have to deal with them over the phone I would highly recommend that you do not rent from them!!!!

Yes, we lived in the ghetto, but we chose to live there. Aside from the area the apartments were really nice and the perfect price for us. All of the ladies in the office were sweet and always responded to all of our questions and maintenance requests.

Complains about people parking in his lot when his clear focus should be on running a better business and hiring less shady scumbags and cater to his customers. You know, the ones that pay your paycheck. Ill come park in your lot and sit there just to piss you off.

Slum Lords. Avoid at all costs! Look around for other reviews on related rental sites and you will see an repeating theme with this company. Hands down, the worst Property Management in Omaha. Office is rude. Customer service is a foreign concept to them. If you call, as a paying tenant they treat you as if you are causing them an inconvenience. Repairs are not done properly or promptly. Bring your own tools, do your own maintenance. Glad to be out of their rental, but beware, move out is a nightmare in which you WILL be charged for general wear and tear, that may have even come from previous tenants. (ie slow sinks, running toilet, malfunctioning appliances that you have had to deal with during your time as a renter.) Please heed mine, and others warnings. I have no idea how they are BBB Accredited.

I have rented from this company for 14 years. The 1st half of my occupancy was decent but, particularly during the last 4-5 years, this property management has epitomized slum-lording. Repeated non-responses to my requests for repairs. It took a filed a complaint with the Human Rights Relations board and 11 City violation citations (and that was just the outside of the house) before they complied. They refuse to fix my front and back entry doors that have deteriorated from age related wood-rot and termite damage asserting that somehow I caused the damage. They have still yet to comply with the interior lead paint removal mandated by the Health Department. RENTERS BEWARE!!

If I could rate with negative stars I would. I work in customer service and I know how to speak with clients/customers and the Manager Mack T, has no regard for customer service. When I explained to him my vague understanding of the application agreement regarding them keeping the $425 deposit if you are unable to move in for any reason, he attempted to explain but felt I interrupted him and told me “Are you going to keep talking or let me speak..” I said excuse me, and he repeated his rude statement. After I told him he doesn’t have to speak to me that way, he proceeds to defend himself and say how he is trying to explain to me and when I said okay sir then you can explain, he said “nope, I tried” and told me to leave or he would call the police! I said you aren’t really going to call the police? And he said “how much do you want to bet?” Speaking to a manager I was hoping to have a more pleasant conversation and Mack T was unable to deliver good customer service or common manners. I will tell anyone looking to rent from them please refrain if you WANT to be treated with decency. I definitley dodged a bullet and I anticipate how the shady business they give out will come full circle.

These people are nothing short of criminals. They lie, cheat, and steal from you. The Cartei Apartments on 83rd and Blondo have been without AC since April 1st. Despite Temps near 100 degrees for the last 3 weeks and tenants having to make alternative living arrangements because of the dangerous heat they simply say they are working on it. Bull! And of course they still expect full rent and on time. This situation has caused uninhabitable conditions and they dont care. If you are as unhappy as I am with them , file a complaint with the BBB like I am doing since anytime they respond they tout being BBB accredited. Not for much longer!

I live at the Cartie Apartments on Blondo and I cant wait until my lease is up so I can move out. Property manager is never around to talk to. Also very difficult to contact by phone. The main office is even worse and they never check their emails apparently. I find at least one bug in the apartment every day no matter how clean I keep the place. Our ceiling fan has been broken in our bedroom for about 2 months now. First time they came they said to move around bedroom around so that they had easy access so we did and told them it was ready but no one has been back since.This place may seem okay but dont keep tied up in a lease here.

I live at 45th bedford ave 5yrs unskilled repairman the last year I had mice and bedbugs I contacted health department they came took pic and told me management is too supply traps and to spray for they charge me I gave 30 notice and moved now he lying about damaged apt trying to get money for things you clean after 5 yrs,see you in court I took pic of every room ,if you like bedbugs and mice then move into 45th Bedford Ave

DO NOT EVER RENT FROM DTHOMPSON!!!! This is the worst realty company I have ever worked with. They are very unprofessional and disorganized. First of all, the house was not cleaned or ready by the date they told us it would be. They left trash in the backyard including a satellite dish, numerous broken bottles and cans, and plastic bags. Not to mention the grass was about 6-7 inches long. There were spiderwebs and dirt left on windows and walls, plus a hole left in the floor. A couple months after moving in we realized our garage door didnt lock and anyone could pull it open from the outside. We called and asked to have the key to the deadbolt on the door from the garage into the house so that we could lock it. First, they said they didnt have a key for it. Then when we called again they said they had already given us the key. Every time we called to remind them something needed to be done about this they had a different answer. My roommate and I are both female and felt as if we werent taken seriously, so we had a male friend call them and ask and only after that did they put in a new deadbolt and gave us a key. That is extremely disrespectful and sexist of them. About 6 months after moving in our heater broke, in the middle of December. Our house temperature would not go past 55 degrees and it took them 3 days to even come look at it! Then the maintenence man said the problem was due to water damage onto the control board that happened before we moved in. Dthompson told us they would have to back order the part that was needed and they didnt know when it would come in. If it wasnt for the maintenence man driving all the way to Des Moines to get the part because he didnt want us living in such cold conditions, Dthompson would have let us go one without heat for who knows how long. Then, 4 days ago our water wouldnt turn on. The toilet didnt flush, the sinks didnt work, and neither did the shower. We first called MUD about the problem and they said our water was on since we had paid the bill and to take up the problem with our landlord. We called Monday morning and they told us someone would be by to look at and fix the problem. Monday night and still no one had come. I called again Tuesday and they said that all their men were plowing tenants driveways. When I told them that having running water is more important than having a shoveled driveway, the woman said not necessarily condescendingly. Excuse me but people can shovel their own driveways, I can not fix my water problem myself. She said she would have someone come look Tuesday, but I got home and we still didnt have running water. It is now Wednesday and I have called twice today about the problem and have still not received a solid answer about when someone will be over to fix it. If you want a landlord you can trust and rely on Dthompson is not the one for you.

Do not rent from them..i rented a duplex and they conveniently forgot to mention that the duplex was up for sale..it was a nightmare I had people walk in the house with out notification when I complained about it they told me they were going to start the eviction process trying to shut me up about it..i got home one day and there were about 7 people sitting in my living room with another 2 people upstairs inside the bedrooms..the lady that is in charge of leasing is the rudest person alive she will rush you throu the hole proses..and God help you if you interrupt her to ask a question..they have changed their company name..i guess its all the bad reviews they were getting

The particular woman in the front office is very rude tward Bedford Avenue Apartments location. As far as structural the metal stairs to the back doors are rotting. This carpet i have professionally cleaned since my stay here but wont seem to come clean. Bricks and mortar layin around structure of buildings.

I Dont Understand Everyone Elses Complaints , This Company Is Not What I Would Consider Slumlords . When I Signed My Lease I Literally Took Pictures Of Any Issues , They Fixed All The Important Things Like My Stove Instantly . Since Then When My Sinks Garbage Disposal Stopped Working They Came Within 48 Hours , Same With My Water Tank Leaking They Fixed All Issues In A Timely Manner . My Apartment Is A Decent Price And Im A Firm Believer Of You Get What You Pay For .Great Job D.Thompson !!!

It has been 10 months since I reported my AC broken, and still they havent fixed it. They just say whatever they need to, to get your off the phone, and go back to playing solitaire or whatever it is they do (certainly they dont do their jobs). Literally the most incompetent management company ever. They will just ignore your maintenance.
