Ernie was incredibly helpful! I was in a complete panic and hurry and him and Melanie got me in and out within an hour of sending him information through text messages. They had my trade in appraisal done and the car that I wanted parked right out front. I also had a few hiccups in my paperwork and they were so helpful and informative about the whole process. I was so impressed with the service I got here today. My sister and I went to tones of car dealer ships they just didn’t fit our needs and their sales reps were so pushy.y sister and I bumped into Mellisa sales for Kia. We were in a huge pickle my sister didn’t have any credit and we wanted her to build credit. Car was towed in on Wednesday. We heard nothing from them so called Thursday evening and they hadnt looked at it. I accepted that they were busy. Friday, did not hear from them so I called again. On hold a long time to hear they had gotten the codes from car but did not have estimate. Monday mid day finally got a call with more codes and we need to replace engine for $8100!! We have no trust in them anymore. Couldnt even get a loaner and we have struggled and borrowed cars so I could get to radiation treatments. We had it towed to another facility.

Tried to buy a 51k vehicle and they are forcing everyone to get a window, dent and tire package for 3k (You know the one that the finance guy always tried to sell you). The market is tough, so yes I understand paying MSRP but the amount of greed to force anyone buy something you dont want is astronomical.

Coming to a dealership is always an intimating and uncomfortable experience. But we were welcomed in at the entrance by a man named Kamal. we had to ask him a couple times about the name. He showed us around and was very knowledgeable about the models and statistics of the cars. The team at Robert Brogdens in Olathe is very laid back, friendly and honest. They took time to ask questions about what I was looking for, my price range and did not try to show me anything outside that price range or push me towards a purchase. After the purchase of my new Telluride, they followed up to make sure the car was running well and that I was happy with it. I had an issue with some of the features so I brought the vehicle in and they fixed it immediately; they didnt just complete the sale and move on. Unfortunately, my experience here was negative. I preordered a vehicle do to lot availability and demand at MSRP. Everything was set up and until during the process the vehicle Ownership changed from the Outstanding Olathe KIA (where all the 5 star reviews are from) to Robert Brogdon Kia.All the previous Olathe Kia Administrative staff is now no longer with this KIA dealership.It is now Robert Brogdon KIA (a new and unique shop per the GMs words) they still sell at MSRP currently, however, they require EVERY vehicle that leaves there lot to include an Elevate Protection Package that is non cancellable and is a additional 5% upcharge on to any vehicle sold through them. Additionally, there Administrative processing charge is one of the highest in Kansas City, and can range up to and above $750.Regarding the Elevate Protection Package it seems very manipulative through how the contract is structured. Make sure to read the contract closely, as it appears that the Sales contract will show the 5% upcharge (which comes to thousands of dollars, possibly) and when you read the Elevate Protection Package Addendum, it will show a cancellation clause. However, the Elevate Protection Package Addendum will show a 1$ cost of the service rather than the 5% cost of the Protection Package (which would allow for cancellation). So, if you cancel the package you will only receive the prorated $1 back.People may enjoy this service, for Dents, Dings, Key Replacement and so I on, but, I see these as direct money maker for the dealership and I personally think it should be optional and cancellable as other dealers process similar protection packages.With this in mind, I have lowered my experience with the dealership and purchase (I did proceed with my purchase, since I do love the Kia vehicle I purchased) to two stars and I would recommend you visit other dealerships in Kansas City when you are looking for vehicles, so you do not occur this fees.

Please look at all their negative reviews… This place is going down hill.My son in law took his car in to get the window fixed . They had the widow ( electric) rolled up when he got there. They told him he would need to replace the motor and it would be $600. He decided not to have them replace the motor because it’s too expensive. They went through the trouble of making sure to roll the window down before they gave him his car back. They just have aweful service. I suggest going to any other Kia except Olathe Kia.

I was always curious as to why they called it a Kia Soul now I that Ive been driving the one I bought off this lot for 3 years I know why! Slowly as you drive the car you slowly begin to turn into the car, yesterday I coughed up nuts and bolts, my ears fell off and have been replaced with side view mirrors, I dont know how much longer before I will need to start drinking gasoline to survive but I know that the day may soon arrive. 10/10 would drive to again. Great vehicles, great staff, wonderful cars.

The service department at Olathe Kia took really good care of me the day after Christmas.Zach and the crew provide stellar, friendly, informative mechanic service.I was in a bind with low tire pressure and my valve stem caps were stuck on the tires.The service crew got my Forte fixed up so I could drive home to Illinois safely.Other shops weren’t able to get me in that day. Olathe Kia was the first shop advising me to use correct plastic tire caps that won’t get stuck anymore. For some reason, no other shop had advised me of that.I highly recommend Olathe Kia service department.

So disappointed in the vehicle we purchased. It was sold as used, one owner with less than 60k miles so we thought we were getting a vehicle with a lot of life left in it. Not a week in the transmission went out. Now, only a couple months later, we have it back in the shop AGAIN- check engine lights galore! It is such a Lemon and the only thing the dealer had to say was- oh thats too bad. Learn from the financial disaster we are dealing with and take your business elsewhere.

Oh boy who knew washing your car would make your check engine light flash and essentially force your car into a safety mode. I had my Optima dropped off last night by a Tow company and I’m surprised that they got to look at it today! Everything is perfect and they were able to give me an oil change on the fly. Went to Olathe Kia in February 2020, my Volvo blew the engine and I needed a new car. Ended up in a new Telluride. Austin Enyeart was our sales guy and he was great, didnt rush us into anything, made sure we saw everything they had available and made sure in the end we were comfortable with what we got and price wise. A few weeks ago we decided to downsize, headed right to Olathe Kia to see Austin again and had another great experience getting into something new and got a great price for the Telluride. I have never owned a Kia or been to this dealership before 2020 and I can say now that I wont go anywhere else. The staff is amazing, they take care of their customers and if there is ever an issue they are on top of it.

Recently purchased a Lexus 2007 LS460 from Kia Olathe. I am based out of California and purchased it online. The overall purchase was dealt with utmost trust on the team there considering this is a Kia dealer and would be truthful in providing all the information. After enquiring multiple times on the details of the car, I was told that everything in the car is almost new condition, tires are good, no replacement of any part, and the overall color of the car is original. Nothing needs repairs. They did not even inform at the beginning that there is only one key for the car.I paid the price and shipped the car on my own. On receiving the car in California, I was surprised to find that there was a big noise when I move the gear into reverse and drive.Took the car to the Lexus dealership and got a shocker. They quoted that the control arms needed replacement (I think this is regular for these cars). The Differential needs replacement to take care of the thumping noise. The front shocker is leaking. Even the tires has less than 1/32 thread left and at a stage where its absolute risky to drive it and needed immediate replacement. They would not pass the smog test in California. They quoted a whopping $23K on repair cost (which I understand is high at a Lexus dealership)Called the dealer multiple times and left voicemail but didnt get any response. Finally spoke to someone who said that they cannot do anything.At the end, I am highly disappointed and running around corners to get the car in a decent shape for driving as need to get all the jobs done at a economical cost (not the Lexus dealership quote).This seems to be an experience one would get when you purchase a vehicle from an auction where you can buy cheap cars. This is totally not warranted when one purchases a car from a so called trusted Kia dealership.A caution of advice for anyone who purchases any used car from this place is these guys would just sell you a car without even checking if the tires are worn out and put you at risk.Unfortunately I am so far off that theres not much I can do other than sharing my painful experience with all so they can learn from it. Not sure if the dealership would ever do anything on this.

In May, I started working with Gary and put a deposit on a vehicle. He informed me that I would pay MSRP + $399 admin fees. 20 days pass and he reaches out to me & says he is going to send me an unofficial bill of sale. I open it to see the car at MSRP + $699 in admin fees +$2,695 for a protection package. I called Gary and he told me the dealership had been sold and this was what the new owner required on all car sales. I called the store to talk to a manager because this wasn’t what I agreed to and was told would be no hidden fees. The manager, Sebastian, told me this was something put on all cars and reiterated that it was a good value and worth the cost. (This package includes hail den/paint repair, windshield repair, key fob replacement, and tire repair [i.e. insurance “without a deductible”]). But, I didn’t agree to this originally, it wasn’t communicated with me that the dealership was sold and policies were changing, and they should have honored the deal that was already started with the previous owner when I put the deposit down. Sebastian offered me a gift card for the inconvenience. I briefly talked with a lawyer who stated the dealership should honor the original deal even though it was done verbally, although it would be hard to challenge in court without it being written. I sent an email stating this to Gary who printed it and gave it to Sebastian. Later, I reach out to Gary to get a status on the arrival and the email comes back as undeliverable. I call the dealership and they inform me that Gary no longer works there. I have to ask if my sale has been taken over by another rep that I can talk to. She forwards me to the cell phone voicemail of someone who never calls me back. No communication again. I had to reach out to Sebastian to figure out what was going on and if he got my email. He said he did and nothing was changing but my car arrived that day. However, after constant refusal from these managers to take off this package, I was looking for another vehicle elsewhere so I didn’t have to do business with them. After talking to someone about the situation, it was suggested that I talk to Mr. Brogden himself. I ask Sebastian and Marcus (the new sales person I was working with) for his contact information and instead of allowing me to contact him, they had a group call with the 3 of us and another manager, Paul. Paul went over how Robert Brogden has 5 star reviews and repeat customers and customer satisfaction was his priority. This package that they put on all of the cars is useful for all of these reasons and he sees the claims come in for things all the time (wouldn’t you claim things if you were forced to pay $2,600 for this package?) He still refused to just take it off. If I don’t get the package, I don’t get the benefits and that should be the customer’s decision. He stated that if I wasn’t happy with the way they did things, the car, and the sale, etc., that they had the right to not do business with me. In other words, instead of coming to a compromise and solving issues with customers, they just won’t work with you. Fortunately, 2 days before I was supposed to go get the vehicle, another got delivered to a different dealership so I bought from them instead. These people don’t care if you’re happy as long as they make their sales. If you don’t like something, you can move to the side and someone else will come along. I’m not sure of many people who would be happy with the process if, out of nowhere, they were now going to have to pay $3,095 more than what they agreed to just 20 day prior. The dealership I did go through was upfront about everything and made the buying process simple and stress free, as it should be. Buying a car should be exciting and Olathe Kia made sure it was everything but enjoyable. Shop around before you do business with Robert Brogden’s Olathe Kia. *Note that the google reviews reflect Olathe Kia before the change of ownership. Don’t be fooled.

A big shoutout to Mellissa for helping me get into my 2021 Kia Telluride! She was so wonderful to work with and made me feel welcomed. There was no sense of overwhelming rush or pressure from her when looking around. She was very trustworthy and committed to helping me find something that I really wanted. The whole process was quick, easy, and painless.
