I just wish the recent lady manager/cashier would be nice and fair to all customers regardless of race, age and color. I hope she should be more considerate to the elderly. She is so rude.

Store needs to be tidied up. Good location for community.

Associates were ok. However it was very messy. One aisle you had to walk around a whole shelf of merchandise on the floor.

The only saving grace of this store was the wonderful woman behind the counter. Poor thing had to work by herself and attempt to do other things around the store. I know quite a bit about Dollar General as I worked right next-door to one for five years and talk to and hung out with a lot of people that worked there.This store I hung out at or should I say hung out with the people who worked There was a semi busy and always had stack to do. I understand places like CVS, Walgreens, and other places never hire enough people so that way they can save some money.In the long run it hurts the store because people these days are not patient whatsoever and they get mad if they have to wait longer than 2 to 3 minutes.So the woman at the counter who was insanely helpful was the only thing about this place that would make me even think of returning.All of the fixtures had dead flies in them which it is what it is but someone needs to go up there and do a little bit of cleaning. Also there were so many freaking baskets in the way because I don’t know when their stack day is but all I can tell you is that it was so bad I could barely navigate my way through the shop.Also, the lighting was so poor that I could barely see what I wanted to purchase.There were two other men doing stock.One of them dropped the door right on me as we were entering and the other one walked by me and completely cut me off without saying excuse me or anything.Plus, you could hear people talking and laughing in the back but from the pictures I took it didn’t seem like anything was getting done there.The entire shop was in shambles. Items in the wrong area’s, two dollar items that were on the wrong peg which when I pulled one off to look at it set off a beeper which continued to beep for my whole 15 minutes in the store, And nobody was nice except for the woman who rang me up and I wish I would’ve got her name she is the ONLY reason I gave the shop any stars at all.I can’t post my pictures because I wanted to post pictures of how disheveled the store was. Again the only part of the store that was remotely cleaned was her area.Pardon grammatical errors as I used speech to text for this.

Shelves are stocked very well. They carry a wide variety of products. Just remember its Dollar General so it can range anywhere from $1 to $25. All those weird and wacky things that you cant never seem to find but just got to have it for that certain something going on, they got it!

While the people that work here are very nice and welcoming, the store itself is horrific. Im often scared that the boxes and other merchandise piled up to the ceiling on those rickety carts is going to topple over on me or my 8 year old daughter. You can barely walk down the isles because there is stuff just everywhere. But I do want to reiterate that the cashiers have always been very polite and as helpful as they can given the environment that they work in.

Poorly stocked. Or I should say , Stock was sitting out in Bins waiting to be placed on shelves. Disappointing.

I love this store because the staff is very accommodating, and very observant. I came in the store with a surgical boot on and two of the staff immediately ask me if they could get my items for me while I stayed at the register. That was so awesome because I had just had surgery on my feet two days prior. And I wasnt supposed to be on my feet. Awesome staff!

Ive always had very positive experiences here with the staff. Today I went in around noon and the guy working the register was so upbeat and positive, even though he appeared to be the only one working and it was pretty busy. I didnt catch his name but dollar General should be proud to have such a great employee!

People were coming and going out of this establishment like were not in the middle of a pandemic most of the people that had their mask on was up underneath their chin or under their noses 🤔😣🤨And they had the door closed so every time someone goes in they have to touch the door knob

My visit(s) are usually the same at this location. Its always messy. Shipments and products are always all over the floor. I can never find everything I came for. Its usually a rude older woman at the register, who doesnt acknowledge the customers. She carries along other conversations with Co workers or other customers, that arent being serviced. Today, the young man that was at the register was pleasant, and acknowledged every customer that came through the door! Great customer service today. Just didnt purchase everything I intended to...

The shelves are empty all the time. Boxes covered the isle way. For 3 weeks now!

They have great prices of course. But this location is extra crowded with product in the aisles! Cashier was nice☺

Disorganized, chaotic, lack of urgency are the first words that come to mind. Looks like the stock hasnt been put away in months. And this location was far and away better than the other store located a few miles away on Nine Mile and Coolidge. Dont understand how either place is still open.

This place is an absolute eye sore. As someone who lives locally, this dollar general makes our neighborhood look really bad. The entire strip mall that this Dollar general is attached to makes the neighborhood worse. The city of oak park needs to do something about this trash heap.

Manager Mark was very friendly and courteous the entire time of my visit despite the fact that he was working alone, stocking, cashiering and servicing(8-10) customers in and out during my visit. Mark made my visit with my mom convienient and efficient for my mom and I.

Its good althoug kids play and trash it in the back its not okay but the maneger ugh.. I cant its a decent 3 stars

And You would think that they get deliveries every day all day long nothing is never put on the shells it is always in boxes on carts waiting to be put on shelvesThe store has very poor lighting it always seems dingy and I cant get over how dirty a how junky this door always isOh my God!!.... If I could give no stars I would. This is the worst Dollar General Ive been to. Staff is rude and unfriendly.. Shelves are not stocked but the all the stock in boxes on the floor. Asked for help and the woman just looked at me with a blank stare. I am so disappointed.. this store is the closet to my house and I have to drive all the way thru 2 cities to get decent service and stocked shelves.

The worst dollar general. Cluttered with items not put on shelves. Boxes blocking aisles. The lay out of the store is not good. All the clutter cause confusion upon entering store. I just went there to get these mirrors that was sold out at my favorite dollar general location. This store is so jammed with stuff you cant manuever a shopping cart around. The cashiers arent friendly. No greeting upon entering store. I try not to come to this location.

It was difficult to shop because there were boxes of merchandise blocking the aisle. I left without finishing my shopping.

...very disappointing-no personal sanitizing items on the shelves including Lysol spray or even the Dollar General version, no anti-bacterial hand soap or hand wipes and clerks said they were waiting on the truck for delivery on Friday, but when I went back on Sunday, nothing had been delivered, and it was worse with almost no toliet or toweling paper available.

Jesus.. where do I start?! They get an extra star because it’s not the manners of the employees, only the fact that it’s ALWAYS a cluttered, messy, and unorganized. Stock always in the middle of the floor has got to be a fire hazard. I’m surprised no one has reported it!!

My visit today was good. The store was in a disarray. But other than that, had a good experience. Friend cashiers as well as other workers.

Staff is friendly but the store is very cluttered. It needs a deep cleaning. Its far too many items for a small store.
