I Had a very sticky situation with a older vehicle. The store manager was the one who helped me. Christopher assisted me with everything I needed done. I had them install everything the very next day. The install and drop off was like nothing else. Car toys went over my truck and said I cant guarantee that the clips wont break. I took the risk. I pick up my truck and they tell me nothing broke and everything is fine. Very Exciting news. The installers did a wonderful job and broke nothing on my old truck. I have my music now and a way to charge my phone. Thank you so much car toys and a huge shout out to the manager Christopher. He knows his stuff.. VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER..

I went in looking for a radar detector and found out they also do paint protection film and ceramic coating. They did a great job with my 2020 Shelby GT500 Carbon Fiber Track Pac!

We took my Ford in to attempt to get the OEM head unit removed so that I could install an after market stereo. The shop manager offered to remove it quickly for us so we could install it. He was very nice and helpful!

Very professional. Very knowledgeable. These guys set my work van up with a remote start, auto electric locks from standard, and a top of the line security system all in the same day. Had a remote start installed at this location 1 and half years ago , and they did a hack job on the wiring, so bad that the splice points are all held together by tape, with a lack of support resulting in a short in my ignition system, a wire was rubbing against my E brake lever eventually rubbing the sheathing away causing a short against the metal blowing my ignition switch fuse. I highly recommend looking at the wiring of your car after they are done, and getting it fixed my a competent person. I regret getting a remote start on my car now.

I just had an alarm/ remote start system installed in my car. The sales people were friendly and helpful. The installers did an awesome job. Everything works the way it should. Thanks.

Itemized receipt showed $3000 charged for miscellaneous labor, with no breakdown whatsoever of how that time was spent (photo). They had charged over $2k before calling to say the job was more challenging than anticipated, but did not have an estimate during the call. For reference, they installed 1 marine battery, 2 solar panels, and 1 charge controller. A similar job at the Aurora location (1 battery, 1 roof vent fan, 1 inverter) took 6 hours in the same vehicle at a tenth of the bill. I did not expect such a difference in cost or professionalism, so I cant possibly recommend the Northglenn location. Photos attached of the vehicle interior on pickup, and of the wiring under the bed. For reference, the interior floor was clear on dropoff, and I had pointed out the items on shelves and asked the installer what I should remove. This would not warrant a negative review on its own, but is in line with the professionalism I experienced. 2 stars because they did do the installation, but my expectations were dashed.

Schedule install 24 hours in advance under promised and over DELIVERED! ! ! I was told 2 hours they did it in 1.5 hours start to finish.. THESE GUYS SHOULD BE RECOGNIZED, for world class customer service. (mic drop)

Im never buying from audio places like this again... i came in to get subs under my seats for the truck. Jl audio 600 watts i thought it was fair. Now my sterio shuts down whenever im riding with any amount of bass and it keeps doing it all ride long.Edit. I had to go again another day and it had the signal on the wrong input but was fixed.. now one of my speakers isnt working because of a loose connection

They distroyed my carstero. The sound system, they are the worst I paid them 650$ for the setup and everything and suddenly everything things it not responding in the car , when I arrived at the store they told to fix it you should wait a week for available time and they are the ones who destroyed my car , i am totally not satisfied with their job and their unprofessional team , i told the guys that i am not satisfied And they seems really ok with it .

I went to ask how much for passing a wire from the battery to inside my car. The price was that they were asking for the job was $325. I said hell no. They need to improve the customer assistance. I do not recommend to visit this place.

They dont acknowledge you when you stand at the counter they talk to you then walk away 3 different times ive had to visit & each time they all just chill in the break room to the left of the door or outside on there phones not only that when they overcharged me they justt said its not us its the system that along with damaging my car avoid this place like the plague

Got my alarm system installed,great place.

I needed to have an RCA cable, which I had damaged with my own clumsy foot, replaced. The install had been done by Car Toys, so I took the car back to them for a replacement cable. They diagnosed the issue, and had me scheduled for repairs in just few minutes. The damage was repaired and the audio system back up and running in about an hour or so. Everyone was friendly and professional and quick. I couldnt be more pleased with Car Toys.

First time here I was a kid in a candy store ! Our service rep was extremely friendly and helpful and knowledgeable and very patient with us and knowledgeable about our jeep and what we wanted! Cant wait to go back with my 75 caprice classic convertible when I get it!

I cannot believe that they have so many good reviews online. My wifes speakers were going out in here car, and per their diagnostics and recommendations, we had them replace the car speakers. After the repair, the speakers continued to have issues. They then said something is wrong with the car and not the speakers. They would have to charge more for diagnostics. They took our money, did not fix anything, and then refused to help!! I have had issues with them in the past as well. NEVER AGAIN.

Chip (manager) and Johnny (Installer) were the best! We bought a Honda Accord and had new speakers installed with the touch screen factory radio. I love the sound (I didnt think Id be booming again) and recommendations they gave provided me with an awesome sound system! I appreciate the Alpine subs recommended because I have control over the amount of bass, and the way Johnny installed it looks factory! You cant even tell that the speakers were swapped out/upgraded. This is one happy customer.

Where to start... These dudes are phenomenal! Jay (the manager) was my sales person and was extremely through in finding our what I wanted/ needed in my wives vehicle. I bought a radio for her for Christmas. Alex the technician who did the install came out with me to look at my Toyota to see exactly what we needed to do and explained thoroughly the procedure for installing the radio and other components. We also had our vehicle detailed, Patrick and Lance absolutely crushed it! My wife was so excited and our Sequoia looked better than the day we picked it up from the dealer. I will 100% be back for additional services and another detail, kids are messy! We had a time constraint that they were able to work within as well! Thanks guys

Too many trips and the remote start still doesnt work right. Bought a remote start system from them and dropped my car off at 9am. Got a call at 2:30 saying the car is being worked on. They tried a second time to sell me on headlight cleaning and would not take no for an answer. They told me they would call when it was done. Called them at 7pm and was told its not done yet. Got a call at 7:40 saying he was wrapping it up and to come get it. I should have tested it but I didnt. When I went to use it for the first time it would start but then turn off. Took the car back when they opened and was told I would have to make an appointment for two weeks from now. Instead I agreed to drop my car off again for the day so they could squeeze it in. Unacceptable that they couldnt finish the install right the first time and even worse customer service when I brought it back. If you have all the time in the world and dont need a car for two days these are the guys for you.

Very knowledgeable about their products here. They try to keep everything in stock at all times and haver no interest options available for EVERYONE. Got my stereo installed didnt pay anything upfront and added window tint that was done at the same time! Great place to shop for car audio

When purchasing my deck from the Fort Collins location, I was sold a deck, which turned out to be a returned one/should not have been sold. It was also missing a component. This caused me to make two return trips to the store. After a friend and I were unsuccessful in our attempt to install everything, I was told that the Fort Collins location would not be able to assist me today with the install. Bummer.I then called the Northglenn location for their assistance, and Nick Brosky answered. He was nice, answered my questions honestly, and told me that if I came to their store, they could possibly install my equipment today. True to his word, the equipment was successfully installed without issues today!The installer Jake, spent time with Nick assessing my equipment in my car. After a fair price quote, I had Jake install everything. Both Nick and Jake were professional the entire way. I have very high standards, and if they were anything else, I would say so!Thanks again guys!

Poor customer service. Installed a smart modem which was installed incorrectly. No apologies ever, or any compensation.No consideration of our time. We had to make a second trip 1 hour round trip. We will never use them again.

Aedan did a superb job on my Jaguar F-Type with the ceramic coating and wax! He was very informative and kept me up to date on its status and was flexible with his schedule to make sure it got done in a short amount of time. He even came into the store on his day off to make sure I was happy with the job when I came in to pick it up! Im now considering having him do up my F-150 truck with the same coating. Been going to this location for over 10 years now. Most of the staff are good but occasionally run in to someone trying to upsell me on stuff I dont need but for the most part this is a great place to shop and always have been helped when I needed it. Great install crew too and got the deck put in in record time on my challenger.

Horrible customer service with a rude associate who hung up the phone on me when I said I couldn’t drop everything and “swing by”. I was open to coming in before my installation. I was willing to pay whatever was needed and cost was not an issue. All I wanted was a new satélite radio. The associate demanded that they see my current stereo. Really? I said to just assume there was nothing and charge me for whatever was needed but he insisted I bring the car in so they could inspect my old radio. When I said I could not come in the next day for the 3rd time, he hung up on me. Disconnected the call in the middle of me speaking. Do NOT reward rude behavior.

Johnny did a wonderful job on my car. I brought him a car with a ripped out radio and multiple other tiny issues and everything is working better than it has for the last 5 years. Patrick the detail guys and the Manager were all incredible.The guys made my Ford Superduty look new again after someonewho thought they knew what they were doing ruined my paint job.These guys worked nothing short of a miracle. You guys rock.

This was the most horrific experience ever! The price for installations was more than the product which we figured was okay considering we have a Camaro. The installation ended up taking twice as much time as the thought, and when we got the car back there was check keyless entry light on. We called them right away and they argued with us that they couldn’t get the car back in for 2 weeks!!! They hung up on me and refused to give me their names. The car stared dying and not starting, so we had to take it the the Chevy dealership where they told us whoever installed the system unhooked several cords and didn’t tighten the cables to the battery properly. Worst $3600 wasted! And more considering we will have to figure out how to get everything messed up fixed. Don’t take your car here.

A bit more pricey then a guy would like but they do quality work and got my sub and amp installed pretty quick. Workers are friendly as well.

I cannot express how great was the service I received from this Northglenn location, but will try. I showed up in my 35 foot RV for an entertainment and camera upgrade/repair. Normally, this would cause any tech to run because who wants to work a 35 foot line front to back through an RV. Instead Johnny the tech supreme not only ran that line but provided additional custom adjustments to make my whole system sing. His craftsmanship and advice are honest and spot on. Sixteen years of experience, a desire to please and no fear of effort are a rare combo. His work is insanely good. My sales rep Jordan was always responsive, patient, helpful and also willing to go the extra mile. He made a run to pick up an out-of-stock additional speaker pair I requested at the last minute from another location on his way to work. I cannot more highly recommend this location and these two great employees. Lastly, my system rocks.

Ask for Ryan Larson he is a ROCK STAR! I had a issue with my stereo connection to my Bluetooth & I went in & Ryan Larson took care of it super fast, he hoped in my car looked at all the issues & quickly was able to get my stereo connected back and bumping loud! Just the way it was when they hooked my awesome stereo up over a year ago! Guy is a wizard! Thanks Ryan!

We were there on Saturday the 23rd of January. The service was terrible. One guy was on the computer. He looked at us and said nothing to us. We were in the store for 5 minutes before anybody said anything to us. Got better service at Walmart. Wont be back

This is the place to go for what ever you might need. Just got a sound system put into my vehicle and it was quick, painless and cheaper than competitors. The other places I went for quotes did not leave me with a feeling of wanting to give them my business. Car toys tells you everything upfront and gets you scheduled in on your time. Had to venture here twice in one day and both experiences were top notch. Every person I worked with was exceptionally helpful.Logan is a gentleman and a scholar. He helped me troubleshoot my personal installation and ended up finding the exact kit I needed to complete the project.

After posting the above 1-Star review I was quickly contacted by a manager (David), who determined they had charged 4 hours based on the projected quote of 3-4 hours to do my job, as soon as he saw the techs paperwork showed it was actually 3 hours he called to apologize and explain the mixup, and to refund the difference. His earnest desire to make it right is what I needed to hear, and hey, billing errors can happen, but the way he handled it changed my 1-star experience to a 5-star final rating.(And by the way, the work done by the tech (Jacob) was great, no complaints.)

The tech who worked on my car, Johnny stayed late at night to finish, and to me that is a selfless act and going above and beyond. He really went the extra mile of completing the work even when Murphys Law kicked in. Yes, it did take a bit longer, but by no means am I upset; A good plumber friend of mine used to say You want it done right, not just done. To that effect, everything was installed perfectly and I couldnt be happier. I will be bringing my car back to this store to have a full detail completed and recommend this store to anyone. Bought a Groupon for a detail. Knowing I had an SUV and dog hair I knew I’d be charged a little extra based on the terms and conditions I read. Made an appt and my fiancé brought it in. They immediately turned him away saying it would be a $500 and few hour long detail with the dog hair. I have leather seats and weather tech mats that dog hair doesn’t stick to? Apparently they claimed the Groupon is only for an hour appt but it says NO WHERE in the fine print that. Do not waste your time or money because I’m now having issues with Groupon refunding me.

Every so often, I’m completely blown away with a customer service experience. Wish it happened more often! Then, every once in a great while, I’m beyond impressed with a product purchased. Rarely, am I blown away with a product, and service, at the same go. Well, the last time I had that experience was this week, at Car Toys. The customer service was on point. The consultation and radio/navigation selection, the appointment scheduling, the vehicle handoff, the installation, all spot-on.When I picked up the vehicle, the store manager, Chip, personally walked me to the vehicle, in the snow, walked me through the technology, answering all of my crazy questions. Best part of all, the new Alpine 9” screen that powers the entertainment system of our 4WD Sprinter works flawlessly. The OE steering wheel controls control the new system. The hands-free speaker was installed thoughtfully, and nearly invisible. The backup camera was installed perfectly, and everything works flawlessly together.You will see that my profile has few reviews, but this experience was so over the top, I had to shout it from the rooftops. Thanks to all of the staff at the Nothglenn, Colorado Car Toys, we will be back soon to have another vehicle upgraded!

Dont have someone come in and be the first in the door then have vehicle all day to be told vehicle will not be ready till 8pm the night. Then receive a call saying vehicle is ready at 530pm day it is brought in. Customer service a counter was good but not impressed with install process. Install was done well.
