I went to return one item and exchange it for another. This took FORTY minutes as there was only one person working the return line (many persons deep) and no cashier. You had to use the self checkout line. Where are the staff? I understand Lowes has made record profits. But that certainly hasnt been transformed into good service.

My wife just tried to purchase a grill for delivery service for our 20th wedding anniversary this week. The grill was supposed to be delivered Tuesday to make it by our anniversary but the store said that the stock only had one unit instead of the two which they were supposed to have and he couldn’t sell her the floor model. The salesperson then said he could swap it for a higher model at same price and she would have to come down and sign paperwork but it would not make the Wednesday anniversary but would be delivered Thursday.After she went back down and waited forever and and personnel did not know how to write up the paperwork, they brought it out to her but she reminded them that it needed to be delivered because she can’t carry it home in our vehicle. Two days later and the grill is not delivered and the Lowe’s personnel say they don’t have the order information even though my wife has the email with the order information.Used to really like this store - however last three major appliance purchases have not gone well. Maybe poor back office / delivery logistics systems? Minus one star for missing first date. Minus one for waiting forever and not having clerks who could write up the paperwork and forgetting it was a delivery. Minus one for still not being delivered by noon Friday. They get 2 stars for some effort trying to resolve the first mistake. We canceled the order and will look elsewhere.

We placed an order on January the 9th, 2021 for a black stainless whirlpool refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and gas stove. We received the microwave and stove at the beginning of April. My refrigerator and dishwasher are still not in my possession. We had a call last week on September 4 for a delivery between 930 and 11. My husband re-arranged his schedule to accommodate this delivery. They delivered the ice maker hose on a box truck! Last night, September 17th, 2021, we get a voicemail that we are scheduled for a delivery on Saturday between 930 and 1. At 215 I call the store to find out what time our delivery would actually arrive, they tell me”it was a failed attempt!!!” That is a lie, no one called or showed up with a delivery. I call the store numerous times waiting 15 mins or more on 3 occasions to be hung up on. I finally speak to someone, she gives me the number to the delivery manager. CRICKETS! The manager will not answer my call. I have left messages. To say the least, this store is a HUGE disappointment.

There has been a mold like smell from the HVAC I mentioned it to lowes corporate though nothings been done in 6 months. In general its a good store & inventory is kept in stock well. After the air quility been fix I will probably change the review to five star.

Good luck finding someone knowledgeable in ANY department. When you need someone its like playing hide and seek. Youll see someone at the end of the isle and by the time you make there the person has mysteriously disappeared.

Just had the worst delivery experience in my entire life! Phone call from Lowes set delivery time between 2 pm and 6:30 pm Tue, left work early; no show; tried to call, in hold with store and corporate for over 45 mins, never got past the automated hold system (8 phone calls). Driver calls says he will be here around 8 pm. I tell him to have the delivery mgr call me. She says my time was between 4 and 8 pm. She tells me that the times the store gives are not correct - I took off 4 hours of work based on those time. Meantime I texted corporate, they said my delivery time was suppose to be 8am to 12pm, but they needed 24 hours to get me a response. So we have 3 windows the one they gave me when they called, the one from corporate, they one from delivery. No offer to compensate me a dime for my lost time!!! Will not shop here EVER.

Very disappointed they would not take back my unopened garbage disposal I paid over $100 for. I had my receipt but it was over 90 days. I was holding on to it until I could find someone to install it and then I found out it won’t work with my set up. What’s worse is the cashier opened it to see if it was in the box and now I have an opened box so it will be harder for me to resell it to an individual. I always thought Lowe’s was really good with returns. I don’t see why they couldn’t take back an unopened item with receipt and it’s not a discontinued item or anything like that.

I had a cart of merchandise in the garden center and walked to the outdoor plant area real quick to get a bell pepper plant. I had the outdoor garden center gate locked in my face with no warning and told Id have to walk through the front of the store to get to my cart. This was because the garden center closed at 8p and it was currently 7:30p. She returned to her personal call and would not let me through even though the keys were in her hand. Still in disbelief.. I left my cart there.

While the workers on the floor were helpful, the managers were not. We were in line at the garden center for about 15-20 minutes, only 2 of 4 registers open on a Saturday afternoon. The cashier needed an override and the managers never came. The guests decided to cancel their order and leave for the amount of time this was taking and the fact the line was taking up half the garden center. Literally ridiculous.

If it wasnt for one associate, I would give them a one-star. Online website is not user-friendly so I decided to purchase in-store. Im disabled so it was kind of complicated navigating through the aisles. When I finally reached the appliance area, I was engaged in a staring contest with the associate for almost 55 minutes before I was able to receive assistance. James, the real MVP, immediately attended to my request as soon as he saw me waiting, hince the added ⭐. That was the only highlight. I was able to purchase my appliance, and set it up for delivery following day. As life would have it, my new appliance was delivered damaged right off the truck. I was sure that I didnt visit Davis appliance in Augusta, but thats a story for another review which is posted by the way. The delivery people took it back to the store. When I contacted Lowes, they said once it gets there, theyll set it up for delivery the following day. The following day came, and no call, no message, no delivery. I was told an hour ago that they will call me back within 15 minutes with information. Considering it was new, I had figured itll be an easy swap. However, they decided that my time is not important enough to them to grant customer courtesy. So much for looking out for the home team. Im now canceling my order in the next 30 minutes, and going to pay more at Best buy. Guess well be kicking old-school without the new appliance we paid cash for until Best buy decides theyre ready to deliver within the next week or five.

Best customer service at a big box hardware store EVER. All of the employees go out of their way to answer questions, find alternative products, and even suggest other stores if they dont have it. Shout out to Jim in appliances, Mike in electrical, Megan in projects, Cassandra, Danielle, the cashiers, the delivery guys, and so many others. I bought a scratch and dent Fridgadaire. Within 2 months, the ice makers stopped working. Getting any assistance from management was a nightmare. The one day I had off work, they were sending someone out to fix it. THEY SENT A DELIVERY PERSON WHO CANNOT DO REPAIRS.

Ordered a few bathroom products toilet, sink base cabinet and shower surround and doors on 2/19/21 now 6/7/21 and they have yet to get it right. Corporate was contacted twice. Lack of leadership from district area manager to store manager to employees very telling. Shop elsewhere.Now July 20 sink base was supposed to be delivered on this past Monday. Was not delivered. Now Wednesday and the are still checking on it.

Curbside pick up: Items placed in car. The workers went away quickly and we didnt notice a missing item right away. Then we noticed and called the Curbside Pickup phone number. I got the same lady that helped bring our order out. I explained what had happed: we didnt get the 5 gallon primer. The receipt she gave us showed we paid it. She INSISTED we received everything we ordered. In the painting department we had purchased 5 Five gallon products. It wasnt cheap. I couldnt get her to understand the simple fact that we only received 4 out of 5. She was trying to talk around it and insist we got it. My fiancé had to go into the store and find a manager to get the girl to give us what we payed for. They had someone bring it to the service desk. They gave it to my fiancé and made him carry a heavy 5 gallon bucket to the other side of the store and put it in our car. He is 60 years young, but hes had to have surgery on each shoulder. He shouldnt have been dumped where he had to carry it himself. After-all, it was supposed to be curbside service. Very disappointed in Lowes. The manager was there... she was trying to make the girl understand we had purchased 5 and only received 4. The girl is so uneducated that she put a bad taste in everyones mouth. I dont think she ever understood. She just wanted to be right or she cant count or something. Frankly, I hope she was written up or even fired if shes had other situations there. She is NOT good for Lowes. It will take a long time before I go back to Lowes for my purchases. And I especially wont go to North Augusta. If fact Lowes missed out on a big purchase from me today. I went to another place in Columbia, SC and bought 220 sq. ft. of plank vinyl flooring. Might not ever go back to Lowes.

Cassandra gets 5 stars. SHE IS A ROCK STAR. The other lady gets 0 stars. I called up and made sure the Ring 3 doorbell was in stock before I came, they wouldn’t hold it but they said they had 5 and I would be there in a couple of hours. When I got there I asked about the item and one of the employees had a quick look for it in the locked area up front, she said it wasn’t in stock. I said I called up and they said it was and it said there were 4 in stock on the app, she looked at me like I was an alien and said the numbers online are always way off and they don’t have it. I asked her to look again. She begrudgingly waddled over, had a super quick look and said it wasn’t there, with zero care factor and a bad attitude. I’d driven too far to give up that easily so I went to the customer service and that’s where I found Cassandra! Another guy was helping but she took over, said that we’d get it sorted out in a kind voice with a smile and great attitude. She actually cared and looked in the boxes in the locked area that hadn’t been unpacked. Sure enough, there they were! It took her less than 2 minutes to find them. Thank you Cassandra, you are awesome and every employee should care the way you do, you deserve a raise

What a rip off this year on Christmas trees, an alleged 6 foot tree for 50 bucks, and had to put it on bricks to make it look 6 feet????? VERY DISSATISFIED! Dont know how you in good conscience sell these trees for this much. Ill buy local next year, done with Lowes. Merry Christmas all the way to your bank account.

Very disappointed customer!!😞 The sales associates was not helpful at all today.They were unconcerned about my husband loading the appliances nearly by himself. Its sad they wanna paycheck but dont wanna work for it. We are all about customer service and when we recognized it has to be addressed. If you dont like your job PLEASE find another. Its a lot of good people out there who would love to. Home Depot will be getting our business. We were valuable customers thanks Lowes but no thanks.

Poor management, horrendous delivery process, unsatisfactory customer service. I bought a washing machine and scheduled delivery. It was never delivered. I was rescheduled multiple times yet my rescheduled times were never recorded....I had to request a refund and will be going elsewhere for any and all home improvement needs. Also, you will never be able to speak manager.

Setup is nice. However it was extremely difficult to get any help from staff. I called while in the store requesting help, went to customer service, and spoke with two additional associates who stated they couldnt help us because they dont work in that department. Online ordering is easy, although it can be a little crowded at times as its right at the entrance (#convienient). If you cant find a product, ask an associate, as they have great employees. If you dont wanna ask and search online then I suggest just narrowing your search down to the aisle number, as the bay number listed online is usually never right.

Just needed top soil, only pallet is on the second shelf and waited 30 minutes for a forklift. All I got was I called for them but Im not sure. Went to talk with the manager and she was on her phone and walked away after an employee told her I was waiting to talk with management. Ill take my business to Home Depot.

Abysmal service when it comes to delivering appliances. I requested a Sunday delivery so I wouldnt have to take time off work. Called them at 6pm on Sunday to see if it was going to happen. The customer service desk person said it was on the truck and was going to be there before deliveries ended at 8pm. By 7:45, I called the logistics company that Lowes contracts to deliver. and they said the delivery wasnt happening until Wednesday and that theyll call on Tuesday for a specific time frame. Called Lowes back to complain, and a supposed manager said they didnt have a record of my order. Gave her my order number, and she said that another Lowes was taking that order, which is frustrating when the email stated to contact the Lowes I ordered it through.Called Spirit Logistics, the third party delivery company they use said theyd call the day before to schedule a time frame for delivery. They didnt. The website did not provide an option to pay extra for an install, so it would stand to reason that theyd install the washer and dryer like they had previously done my oven and offered to do with my dishwasher. Because Lowes didnt tell the delivery people to install the washer and dryer, they didnt. I wish zero stars were an option. Wont use again, as long as they use Spirit Logistics for their deliveries.
