My 1994 toyota truck hasnt run rhis good in a long time after tune up.but it does now .could have charged me for plug wires but knew the ones on there were good..i have sent two other people there and they thanked me for it.

Great place for repairs and oil changes. I take my car for oil changes and tires and they always top off my fluids and check my car over. I recently retired from teaching in Georgia and moved back to North Augusta when I noticed a lot of water in the floorboard of the driver’s side of my Jeep. I took it by a couple of different repairs shops. No one wanted to bother with it. A couple of weeks ago, I started my Jeep to leave one morning and the windshield wipers were on and wouldn’t turn off. My Jeep wouldn’t go in gear.I decided to go on line to find a local repair shop that would work on Jeep. That’s how I came across Carolina Auto Repair. I gave them a call and John told me to bring it in.I went. I told John all the problems I have had recently with my Jeep especially with the water. He listened and asked me to leave the Jeep with them for a few days to see if they could resolve these problems, especially with the water.Problems Solved!!! I am very satisfied with the courtesy, professionalism, and determination that Carolina Auto Repair showed me. The cost was extremely reasonable. I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla and took my car back to the dealership for a check engine light issue. They chaged me $600 told me my car was fixed, but it wasnt. I took it to the guys at Carolina and they fixed the prob for good.

Good Work But High Labor...

These are genuine, honest people who really did an unbelievable job with my Civic. I was traveling , and almost all of the people I asked for an honest auto repair business said this was the place to go. Unfortunately, it was towed to another place. The difference in repair was $429, so I explained my situation and the management promised way less expensive repair. They even gave me free towing Their price versus the other place was actually more than $429 because of the unexpected discount I received. This was a true blessing because my wife and i are retired and victims of Hurricane. My Honda Civic is running so smooth and when I told them I was late for an Animal Rescue Seminar , the owner Mr Mishoe , not only made my vehicle a priority but gave me a 15 percent discount for my work with animals, and gave me a pocket Bible. This is the 1st business that I have seen that is not afraid to show their Christian values. God Bless Him and his entire family! I may live in North Carolina , but Carolina Auto Repair will be worth the drive. I thank them so very much, and hope Mr Mishie sees this as a small token of appreciation. - Dr Grover Babbitt

They fixed my power steering & AC issues for almost $1200 less than Fairway Ford in Evans was trying to charge me. My car works great now! The guys there were so nice & didnt try to trick me and into work that I didnt need. Ill definitely be going back to them when I need work done again!

Best shop in town! Go no where else! These guys will tell you right. Got an estimate for a repair, that was much cheaper than the auto shop I was at. Took my car to Carolina Auto Repair because the estimate was cheaper and found out that I had a much smaller problem than the shop down the road was trying to trick me into. Repair was have the price of what I was expecting. These guys are honest! My car has been going great. They fixed it right!

On my way to Savannah and broke down on I-20. They towed me in for free and fixed my car. They were really nice and got me back on the road that day. I still had money to spend in Savannah! :)

These guys are AMAZING!! John and Milton were able to work on my 88 Mustang and get the old girl running again. We had so much trouble trying to figure out what was wrong with the car but eventually they found the problem and now my car runs better than it has in years! Also, after completing repairs we had to replace the battery and John sent someone out to my house to give me a jump so I could get back to the shop to get the battery replaced. I am so thrilled to have found these guys and I will use them from now on and recommend them to everyone I know.

They quickly got my car towed into the shop and gave me the bad news. Within hours John had found an engine and gave me an estimate. Im telling anyone that will listen this is the best automotive shop in the state, they towed my car from Augusta, fixed and delivered back to me, unbelievable service, I called a couple of shops the next day and got estimates to see if they charged me for bringing the car to me and how comparable there prices were. Unethical and Incompetent!!I own 4 vehicles, prior to today this establishment has worked on 3 of them, and customer and mechanical services were good....until yesterday. I brought one of my vehicles there for a diagnostic, I spoke with one of the managers named John...Ive delt with John in the past and had no issues. I asked them to look at the car and call me back with what they discovered and well go from there. John told me hed call in less than two weeks. Three weeks later, I received a call from Frank (one of the owners), and he tells me that he needs $1100 for parts that he purchased for the vehicle, and he needed to calculate labor too, because he had the mechanic install them. When I asked why didnt John call me? Frank replies hes on vacation.I never agreed to moving forward with any services other than diagnostic services. This establishment is attempting to get over on me. Theyve been in business for over 13 years and arent accredited by the better business bureau...that resonates with me and it should with others!! Im escalating this matter with my attorney!!! Save yourself the hastle of bad management and incompetence and shop elsewhere for your vehicle service needs!!!

Beware!!! You might get a good deal as some people say they have or you might get cursed out!!I called and talked to a friendly man on the phone when I called to make an appointment. When I arrive to drop off my car, I am told there is no appointment and that the person who booked the appointment, Frank, does not know what he is doing. And no, they cant promise to work on my car today. When I tell him that I will take my car elsewhere he tells me not to come back. I wonder who p^%&ed in his cornflakes because this was 8am and not once did I raise my voice to him. I am glad that I did not spend any money at this establishment but good luck to you if you chose to do so.

Had a conflicted experience at Carolina Auto Repair. I was in the middle of a 6 hour drive and my check engine light came on and Carolina was the closest shop from where I stopped. The technician did a very quick job getting my airflow system fixed up and ready to go. I spent 500 dollars. Im giving three star rating however due to the fact that I had to return to the shop the next day (during my return 6 hour drive) to fix the same problem again that apparently wasnt picked up on the first time. During which I was told that it would be one price (50 dollars), which I would just have to pay for the part and not the labor since my car issue wasnt fixed the first time around for the same issue. What was frustrating is that regardless of that, they had started service without my confirmation. The second service was equally quick and the issue was eventually fixed, but the agreed upon price was changed after the fact adding in labor (equaling out to 100 dollars). All told I spent more money then I was originally told as a result of a confusion of information between the owners. I paid without argument, but it was incredibly frustrating to be told one price and then see 50 dollars added on later for no complication reason AFTER the work had been done. It was the labor, which I get. You have to pay your guys. The work was good and the people there are great, and I would have paid the bill I ended up paying because of those positive factors. But if you offer me one number and then change it, after already having to return multiple times for a single issue? Even after I had already paid 500 dollars? It feels very sketchy. Hopefully my experience wasnt the norm.

I had to take my car to get fixed due to someone hitting my car and the people there were nice and very knowledgable and the pricing was very reasonable and the the service was fast i was in and out within 40 mins faster than any other place i went to.

Gee wiz! A mechanic in town with no bad reviews! This is a great place to waste your time and money. If you have an issue with something that requires no mechanical skills or common sense this is the place for you. If you have mechanical issues and need a mechanic.. you will probably be better off taking your car to one of the 16 year olds at a jiffy lube. These guys wasted hundreds of dollars of mine in time and of course in money also. Worst mechanics Ive ever had the displeasure of meeting. This company walks the line of being a predatory business. 5 stars for finding ways to snake out of their mistakes and leave you with a bill. 5 stars for review filtering. All crooks smile when they are trying to take you. This place is a 5 star waste of money and time. You will need a 5 star attorney when you are done with these losers.

Just took my jeep there to get my water pump replaced. The shop is very friendly/professional and offered to install it at a great price. Not only was the water pump installed quickly they also test drove it to make sure it didnt still overheat.

They changed the oil in my husbands Toyota Tundra. They are very fast and professional.

Only rated this 5 stars so yall could see this. My car wouldnt start because my light was left on overnight so I called for a tow to the shop. The tow man was great and knew that all I needed was a charge. Well then they ended up charging me for a brand new battery and an altinator. After I told them I only wanted a charge. Seriously got screwed over from these guys. Very UNSATISFIED ....

They use cheap parts that wear out really quick. Had to have the work redone at another shop.

My truck has been in the shop for a week and I asked for a quote and they said cant give me one because ncant find the parts and I had to help look for them and his town truck driver had no A/C in the truck on a hot day and waited for.about an he for him also I still havent got the quote from them and had to ask if they got all the parts in and they said they are and it was on the lift also asked if it be done today and he said dont know when the job only take 6 he by the book to do so I wonder why it will take more then a day to do and why he cant give me an answer so no I will not go back there or recamend them unless you want to help do there job for them

I give Carolina Auto Repair 5 Stars! They have mechanics that I put all trust in. I had them do work on my 2002 Ford Explorer. The C/V Axles were bad, after taking it to 2 other places they either wanted to over charge me or not do it at all. I came to Carolina Auto Repair and they were the most friendliness and reasonable. They did the job the same day. I have since sold my Explorer and bought a new 2016 VW Jetta. Id rather bring my car here instead of the dealership.

I have been doing business with this company because of convenience. I had no problems until my first initial visit they stated that if I liked them on Facebook or went on google to write a review I would have a free oil change. The minute I return to get the free oil change they took me through the ringer to get it! Next, on my first initial visit they handed me a loyalty card and stated that after the 4th oil change the next one would be free. Well low and behold after my 4th oil change, returning with my card for the free oil change, I had the same response as the first time! I am not a person that dont give people second chances but this is ridiculous. People ask you to support local businesses but when you do this is what happens. Then they stated that I needed to bring the same car in that I initially brought the first time but no one stated that it had to be a specific car because when they initial the loyalty card it was on different vehicles. What a joke! If you want honest and loyal people you may want to bypass this business.I can not post another review for some reason but you responded to the wrong customer! I was very nice about the hassle of the free oil change. I even waited on the gentlemen to come and pick me up after their mishap on my then 2006 Audi. I am so sorry the this business will not take responsibility for their actions. I was not argumentative even on this vehicle, I just told him that I could use either regular or synthetic oil per dealership not me! I asked to use regular oil from the beginning because it would be on me if anything happened and I was well aware of that. Why it is so hard to do business with (family) who I thought the business represented as such! I will continue to pray for your business.

We have a right to review your business as we have done business w you. You have never done business w mine and we do not have an f rating w the BBB. Anyone reading this can look for themselves. As you can see from other bad reviews how combative they are towards them and take no responsibility for the problem.Our problems were similar to a cpl other customers. They misdiagnosed and fixed things that didnt needs be fixed. They just go in repairing things and charging you for them until they get you out the door with your money.They even went so far as to write a bad review for our family business after we posted our dealings with them on their Facebook page. We have never done business with them with our family business. Very childish and immature for a fiftysomething-year-old man to do.

Fast Service; Great Customer Service; Competitive Prices!

Two years ago my car ran hot suddenly. One of my sons recommended Frank Mishoe because he went to school with him and it was close by. Upon talking to him he came to pick up my car and told me it needed something minor at a cost of about 235. I went to pick up the car and almost immediately it ran hot again. This time I drove the car up there. Frank then told me it needed a water pump and timing belt for 1200.After dickering around about not diagnosing this to begin with..we finally agreed to the repairs. About two days later my car broke down on I 20 right at the exit. It was towed to the Kia place where they did some work on it and told me it needed a new motor and I should have been told that by Frank Mishoe. I was able to drive it home where it was picked up by another repair person from Columbia who put in another motor. We did go to court about this. Frank Mishoe misdiagnosed my car problem, then he misdiagnosed it again...total cost to us around 1500 at his shop alone. In going to court with him he came prepared because he is a veteran of the magistrates court. Frank is a soft spoken man and uses his words very carefully to put all the blame on his customer and does not take any responsibility for his malpractice. It was an embarrassing and frustrating event with a local business owner who obviously takes no pride in doing right by his customers. He did not give me a diagnostic sheet with all the things he should have checked but it sure showed up in court. If I had been informed of my options I certainly would not have poured money into a car to repair it when it needed another motor. I am ashamed that someone who lives in my town would stick a customer in the back and then to onto that customers sons business site and post a bad post about this incident when he has never done business with my son. Every person has a right to review a business they have done business with and if that customer is not satisfied they have a perfect right to say so publicly. I am ashamed of Frank Mishoe and his family members who after 2 years have gone onto my sons site again and brought this subject back up again where my sons potential business customers will see it. I am totally disgusted and dismayed that Frank Mishoe would use his children to do his dirty deeds.

Had to go thru alot to get my truck back that they towed .... and they would not let me get my stuff out of the truck for work... over all they were pricey.... and unreasonable
