This store doesn’t open on time. And at times the store is full of clutter on the floor as if the employees never completes stocking the floor. They could at least organize items so they are not in customer’s way while shopping when they abandon particular areas.The staff seems uninterested in assisting. Only one staff member has greeted me from the times I have visited there. The store’s selection is the best thing though. The variety of household and grocery items are quite the treat. Professionalism and customer service is a bit inconsistent but the store’s hours, pricing and selection make it worth the return trip.

Coupons on the app dont work. Today is the last day for the $5 off when you spend $25 after taxes, i spent $33 and still didnt get the $5 off it never works. I dont understand how they offer coupons and dont want to give them to the customers. Then when you ask the employees they dont know what to do or anything

They work extremely hard, and have never ever once given any person an attitude they are amazing. I appreciate them genuinely those ladies are so nice, and hard workers I have to give them 5 stars, plus if you download the app you will walk out of there with at least 9 dollars save, I did it the other day, but thank you ladies you guys always remain professional💛

I only gave them one star because I was sweet and polite and friendly to the two lady cashiers in here tonight at about 8:20 pm being as I have been in the customer service industry for at least 7+ years I know its nice to have someone who is nice talk to me. And I barely got a response out of either of them.. if you are gonna work in the customer service industry then Im sorry but you need to learn at the very least politeness or any form of manners. You never know who may need a smile or just someone who says have a good night.

You get to find your items for generally around a dollor or 2.

Theres always a long line unnecessarily within this store the social distancing practice is very bad theres only one cashier working every time I walk into that place.

Every isle had boxes. Rolling bends with boxes. Clutter in front of what you wanted so you could not get it. I would have spent more money but I could not find paper plates, styrofoam 20oz cups, instant coffee. Some isles were totally blocked. If I was an employee, I would have been afraid of theft. Like one women said, if the place caught fire you would die trying to get around the maze.

Aisles were small and there was inventory EVERYWHERE! You couldnt see some items. The Night Manager, her words, said that she was the only one working because the other person called out. Not very safe working environment.

I go here for mostly for health care items. I sometimes buy batteries here, especially the alkaline batteries, and also they got great deals on grocery items, and everyday household stuff. I shop here at this location every month and sometimes 2 times a month. They have a great selection on the frozen food items, and snacks, etc.

The women that work here at least tonight are horrible at customer service and should not be allowed to work with the public. Right when I came in I asked a question about the sodas and the lady didnt even let me finish it immediately cut me off and was very rude good. No smiling no nothing. Also, right when I walked in the beeper went off and I handed her the bag that was a Dollar general bag that had socks in it that my best friend bought me for my birthday and they had forgotten to take off the sensor. That was their fault. In fact, when my friend bought them the beeper went off and they said just go just go so she did not know until she got all the way home. She had to give them to me with the receipt and the socks with the device still on them sadly and said I would have to go there sometime. after a while, I obviously lost the receipt so I went in and gave them the bag right away and explain to them what happened and she said that they would not do it for me since I didnt have the receipt. I explained that this was their fault and its in their bag and I just walked in with them and could sheep just be a nice human being and do a favor for another human being because its the nice thing to do so I didnt have to throw away and ruin the socks and she still said no.

Dollar General, George Washington hwy is a excellent place to shop. It is clean and neat and the employees are very nice, polite, very well mannered.

They have a lot of items and the cashiers are fast but it tends to be a busy store than other Dollar Generals.
