These people used to be on 33rd Street and I almost freaked out when I get there and saw the gate downFortunately, I looked up the name online and came up with their new addressThe store is kind of hidden inside a perfume store on 30th StreetI passed it several times before realizing they are inside the perfume StoreThe new store is super small but the excellent service is still the same which is what mattered to meThe lady is still behind the counter, always friendly and they still dont charge no fees over $300I will keep using their service because I cannot find better deal even if the new place is like a hole on the wall

Everyone there was extremely helpful, engaged and engaging in a way you don’t often see in a financial institution. They obviously care about their customers, added no fees and gave a much better rate then another better advertised exchange service. I highly recommend Uno for currency exchange in NYC

I was shopping for my trip to Europe when I came upon Uno after an extended research ,they are selling euros at 1.14 when the market today is 1.12, they are beating all the companies I called thru out the city. No fees when you exchange $300 and up. Entrance is not clearly visible, nothing to write about but the deal is excellent

I researched four exchange places and this gave me the best by far. They had run out of Euros, though, and I went back three hours later. Best to call ahead. And you need to show ID even if you deal in cash. They were very pleasant to boot.

How much did you guys pay for each 5 star review? No listed FX rates, indifferent staff looking like they dont have anything to do with the company. I left immediately and, to cap it all, had to ask several times before they let me OUT of the disgusting office.

Using credit card in Europe is a big no no for me, rather buy my euros here, Uno Forex sold me the euros at 1.1195, barely 2 points above the market rate. i was surprised ,they did not charge me extra fees, they came up with the best rates compared to every other currency exchange in NYC. Needless to say ,this is my place to go for currency from now on

Rang up and they gave me a good rate. Went in 2 hours later and it had gone up - when the actual rate hadnt. Im used to places that keep the rate steady all day.

At first they said the rate is 55. Then when I began the transaction, they said the rate is 55.95. When I asked why they didnt tell me it was 55.95 initially, they claimed that they dont announce the cents part. It was a still good rate but they should be more upfront with the rate.

Bought GBP for 1.28 USD. Most other exchanges were asking me to pay a lot more (upwards of 1.34). They do not charge commission if your transaction is greater than $300.Great friendly service. Cash only (cant use debit or credit cards). There is an ATM in their office but there are also banks nearby - Citibank and Bank of America.

Im happy I found this place.I usually shop around.One currency exchange place would have given me 75 Euros for $102,plus a commission fee ranging from $3 to $8.Uno foreign exchange gave me 80 Euros for $100,and no commission fee on transactions above $300.Its nice to have a little extra money in the pocket :) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BAD RATE AND ATTITUDE. Very rude and disrespectful woman answered the phone around 6pm. The best part was when I asked how much a big exchange would be to get a better rate she said in a nasty tone half of the amount I was looking to change. Not very smart lol! Big loss for them for having a bad attitude. Offered a terrible rate compared (5 PERCENT LESS) to Currency Exchange International. Want a fair rate? Go elsewhere.
