Went to view a unit in building 1106. The unit hadnt been cleaned yet. I opened a cupboard in the kitchen and there was an adolescent cockroach alive. Id say they might have a possible infestation with it being an adolescent cockroach. Who knows where else they could be since they said they were just going to exterminate the apartment. Should do at least the whole floor. Management is a joke. Extremely slow to get back to you. The whole place is dirty. Seems like no one likes to clean at all.

I been here long enough to know the property and the management. To be honest, what make me happy is when I need maintenance,.. Right away I get the service i requested. And second.. Very quite and respectful neighbors. Its good place to live... And nothing like a home here.At the end, I would like to to thanks the property manager and his staff.

We have been living her for almost five years & I really loved the apartment & the management. I used to convince people to come & live in this apartment since we used to have  a wonderful management who are professionals, respectful & very helpful, until the new managment guy came. I have never meet a manger like him; he is totally unprofessional, so rude and very disrespectful who treats residents so badly. Ive never thought to move out of this apartment, but now lm definitely gonna look for an apartment with better management & I will never advice anyone to be a resident of Sage park again as long as that guy is the manager. Gold mark is one of the best companies, so they have to solve this problem in order to keep their residents. Bad management means bad services & no one wants to pay money for bad services.

I live at Bolero Flats and the GM is a HORRIBLE MAN, Doobay!!!!!! He is CONSISTENTLY RUDE to residents!!! NOTHING gets fixed in this building, this building constantly looks like condemned housing!!!!!

First week moving in we had all type of issues. Hot water and water leakage is a big issue that we had first week in and my car got broken in and they cut off my Cadillac converter

We haven’t lived her for a year yet & my boyfriends truck & work truck has been broke in too and all of the tools were stolen. Beyond upset. They need to invest in cameras. This is not acceptable. AND EVERYTHING WAS LOCKED.

I have been living at Sage Park apartments for a little over a year now. It has been good so far. Until recently when they have had the pool shut down for over 3 months due to “maintenance”, laundry machines not working effectively, and recently during their parking lot resurfacing I was towed from a spot that was no where close to the construction that was taking place. Rather that doing the right thing and reimbursing me for this tow they told me where to park in the future without being clear from the start where I could and couldn’t park during the project. This all has taken place under the new management and I’m am tired of it.

I enjoy the layout of the apartment and the amenities for the price. However, I cant get any maintenance requests addressed, like a screen on my bedroom window and closet doors that were removed due to damage from previous tenants. Its also disappointing to see the lack of maintenance on communal amenities like the playground outside with no working swings, smoke detector batteries never being changed, pet droppings in the hallway, etc. Unfortunate about the maintenance of the place but to end on a positive note, the neighborhood is great and neighbors all generally keep to themselves and are friendly.

The worst property the I ever rent the office guys need to added money on your monthly bill never rent this apartment it’s not even safe on your car the town for no reason

I been this appartment one month from now, the environment is looks nice and clean.But on my first day the toilet is completely wasnt work. Thats frustrated me, I called maintenance two times, still there is problem.The second thing I experienced is, the network is not work especially on the first floor. as a result, I disappointed to call and answer phone calls all the time.

Ive been living here for over a month now and can say that it has truly been a great decision. The maintenance and office staff are kind, prompt, and fix issues quickly. Rent rates are reasonable and there are some beautiful and large apartments--all with a patio or deck! Laundry rooms are convenient and clean... and the residents are all very kind and friendly. Its a great place!

I moved into Brighton Village Apartments November 2015. I love the large yard area with the picnic tables in the summer, where I can watch the ducks and geese wander around, and an occasional turkey! The apartment is large!When I have needed to contact the office the management staff have been both friendly and helpful in getting my concerns taken care of in a timely manner. Maintenance is great!The laundry rooms are available for use 24 hours a day, although I use them during the day, the building has an elevator, which helps in my doing laundry. I dont use the pool area or sauna, but others do.The other people who live here seem very friendly, at times I do hear some noise from the apartment above me, but hey, thats apartment living.I recommend Brighton Village as nice basic place to live, in the Northern Suburbs.

The management and customer service quality has dropped drastically since the new management and reseptionist. One reason I renewed my lease is because residents concerns were top priority. They even let go one of their best maintenance guy who always told the truth about issues we have dealt with due to their outdated building and fixed them with honesty. Now good luck with even having a maintenance show up to fix anything. I put a work order a month ago, and still waiting! And yes, swimming pool is always cold, ALWAYS!Now, they are good at only 2 things; collecting rent, and towing your car!Im not renewing my lease, Im sure there are other apartments with better residents care with the same amount I pay monthly here!

If I could rate this place lower I would. No sense of privacy whatsoever. How did I not read these reviews before living here? They suck, they don’t care about their residents at all despite what they say. They tow people’s cars left and right for no reason, or they will say you were “out of the lines” the apartments make so much money from towing people it’s ridiculous. They constantly send letters and notes put through your door- ones that contain info about late payments and stuff they stick in your door for anyone to see. The “late payments” I’ve received have been very small amounts no more than $1 at a time and they flip out and say to pay it by that day. The pool is freezing and no one uses it, the gym is outdated and tiny and yet these are the reasons they gave us for why they charged so much. Ew. They constantly do “checks” of your apartment, last time they came in I was home and they walked in with their snowy muddy shoes and everything not even caring and “checked for maintenance” no privacy whatsoever. The caretaker is rude and yells at people in the hallway when they walk in or out of their apartments for having wet shoes or being too loud. It’s dirty and always smells like cigarettes in the halls. Will not be resigning my lease.

Just move out today,it has been our home for over 3yrs.The girls Veronica and Wanda is doing a fantastic job,they are offering a very good customer service.and so as the maintenance team.They will come in timely manner to fixed some issues.The location is very good so accessible to stores and if you come for job hunting there are lots of jobs in the nearby area.We had recommended our friend terry there and he is till there and we made good friends.Highly recommend.

The current managements are very unprofessional and disrespectful to everyone. If mail is delivered to them by ups or other carriers do not expect to get it at all; especially if it is very expensive item. Though the whole detail investigation shows the mail was delivered to their office, they keep tell you they dont have it. My mail delivered to their office 3 times with clear evidence and didnt get them at all. This never happened with previous management.

Some of the negativity on here is silly, Sage park is a great community to live in! The residents here are very friendly, people are willing to help each other out, and it’s a great community if you have kids. I always see kids playing outside together and families outside playing at the park. Sage Park always has events going on to get the community involved! They hand out gifts, have get-togethers in the summer, and do things for the kids as well. Management is great and they do care about their residents! I think this is a wonderful community to live in and be a part of! You’re not gonna find an apartment with the updates, location, square footage, and amenities for what state park offers!No apartment building is going to be perfect, and theres always going to be someone that complains, or had the most worst experience ever I moved here November of 2018 and Ive had family living here over 5 years, so Ive been around a while. Sage Park doesnt pass out notices everyday, unless your not paying rent, or not following property rules. As far as the ethnic smell in the hallways... That can be ANY apartment complex! We live in a diverse community, a diverse world surrounded by people of different cultures! Trust me Ive smelt some pretty bad non ethnic food in the halls before but what do you expect? its an apartment building. As far as the potholes ( The picture posted was of the Bramantes complex parking lot!) NOT sage park! there are two other complexes, one on each side of sage park that are not affiliated with goldmark (they look alike So I’m sure at one point in time they probably were owned by the same person a LONG TIME AGO) they are the ones that do not fix their parking lot, or clean up their dumpster area. Sage Park has no control over that! As far as towing goes, if you park downtown with expired tabs you’ll get a ticket and your car can be towed! So when you park in an apartment parking lot with expired tabs.. Guess what??? Youll get towed! the city can actually go after the apartment Building. You can get pulled over and given a ticket driving down the street with expired tabs! Come on now. Its all about being responsible and keeping things up to date. I had my car towed because my tags were expired, was I mad? Hell yeah! but then again my tabs expired in January and my car didn’t get towed until the beginning of March so the tow company doesn’t just ride around and check for people to tow every single night, I knew they were expired and procrastinated about getting them up-to-date. If you’re not a resident and don’t have a parking tab, you can get towed as well, it may sound silly, but what’s more frustrating is when you get off work at night you have to park in a whole different apartment complex because you have people parking in a parking lot where they do not live, so plan accordingly...Management doesn’t go in your apartment for unnecessary things, if things need to be fixed they fix them if you’re a nasty resident they’re going to be checking. If you’re the type of resident whos apartment is dirty, you dont clean and it could cause problem for the surrounding apartments then thats on you! I dont want any rodents or bugs because someone else isnt clean... Thats not fair to me or others. Ive NEVER had management or maintenance come into my apartment unless had an issue or something wasnt working. And as far as people vacuuming outside their door, its called caretaking, they are the people cleaning up after YOU, they clean the building, halls and laundry room and community grounds and the dumpster areas Because people would rather drop cookies on the floor and leave them or spill juice on the wall and not come back to wipe it up and some would rather empty their car out in the parking lot instead of throwing it in the dumpster... You cant always point the finger at someone else... you have to take responsibility for your own actions and play a part to help keep this community that you live in nice for yourself and others as well. :)

Nice property, buildings are clean however landscaping sucks, parking lots have tons of potholes. I do not recommend for first time renters, a bit overpriced because of the amentities that residents rarely use, management takes the opportunity to harass you as much as possible. Great place for families or middle aged singles. DO NOT RENT IF FIRST TIME RENTER.

I moved in here on February 1st of 2016 and things have not been good. First let me just say that you get until the 1st of each month to pay your rent and after that youre charged with an $80 late fee which is ridiculous & obnoxious. The leasing property manager is Veronica who is very rude. She thinks because shes the manager that she can treat the tenants any kind of way. She screams about being a Christian which is totally unimportant to us & she so badly wants you to get put out if She called the police on my sister who is also on the lease because we were asking her questions about a charge that we never knew about for Pest Control. Something that is paid for by the apartments which is confusing🤔 If were asking questions about something we never knew about, why are we being asked to leave? She didnt wanna talk about the lie she created. Also there are no renovations. The gym is very small and equipment very old. Pool is never clean and the saunas dont work. Laundry room is okay. Washers work when they want to. And the main thing I HATED is that there is no privacy whatsoever. Youll see the managers in the hallways vacuuming right outside your door. One of them lives in the complex actually (just to be nosey). The letters on your door never stops. Who wants to come home to a letter everyday? Allday? All in all, its like you have to tip toe around your own home and you feel like youre being watched. Management TERRIBLE & the maintenance men are probably the nicest people who work here. I dont recommend this place at all to people who like privacy . Very sucky place to live. Worst mistake ever and I cant wait to leave

At first this seemed like a great place to live, far enough away from downtown busses run late to the local park and ride. But over the past 3 years of being a resident here my opinion has made a complete 180 turn. So many apartment checks lately that gives me the sense of no privacy what So ever. There is a little bit of a parking lot but mostly pot holes and the owner claims a certain part is not their responsibility but yet its one of the main points of entry to the northside apartments. Some staff is nice some a witches. They dont care about the tenants but claim they do. Not to mention unless you have a garage your car will end up with some type of scratch if not a complete hit and run. Worst place Ive lived and will not be resigning my lease. Not sure about other goldmark places but avoid this one at all costs.

DO NOT RENT HERE! This place is terrible. It stinks, the staff is terrible, they will literally tow you vehicle for expired tabs, it took the 4 months to change my wifes name on the buzzer, they tack on late fees any chance they get. They do not care about anyone in the complex. The worst experiance of my life.
