3 stars because i was quoted wrong (quoted for $345, parts and labor cost me $390) . Not necessarily the person or mechanic outfits fault just a frustrating aspect of my experience. Flushed cooling system and replaced water pump in my 05 impala. Only other complaint i have is they said they had to overheat my car to bleed the cooling system. Im not a mechanic but i know a few and know enough to say there should never be a time where a car should be overheated to get air out of a cooling system. There are tools specifically made to get air out of cooling systems. Lastly, my car ran fine when i took it to them, got it back with a bad coil pack and a terrible misfire in cylinder 6 of my engine. Again, not necessarily their fault, just another frustrating aspect of my experience. Picked up a new one for $50 at oreilly auto parts and replaced in 5 minutes in my driveway, car runs fine and check engine light is off. My advice is do as much as you can, with what you have, mechanics aren’t cheap, respectively and respectfully.

So they diagnosed it said it was my coolent and maybe temperature guage, got that done problem wasnt fixed so they charged me for another diagnostic test and just bled my line a little more to get any air bubbles out of the system which you do when you do a coolent chance and said the gauge was good too from what they saw, and they couldnt get my car to overheat which was the problem, so they said its most likely my water pump, they werent going to charge for another diagnostic test but that they would check to see if it was a relay but they were pretty sure it was my waterpump going out, which we will see soon and i will update this but currently i am taking my car to get a diagnostic test else where to see what they say

Worked my car in quickly with an air conditioner diagnosis in about 1/2 hour. Car works fine.

I brought my car in here because it was overheating while the air conditioning was on. They fixed several things but I had to return several more times for the overheating problem. They basically switched out the fans, the thermostat twice and some other things but the problem continued. After I had basically given up on this car the owner Sam called me and said he wanted to put a new water pump in at no charge to me. That was very kind because he knew I had spent all my savings on the repairs so far. I have to say that every single one of the guys that work there are so nice and have always treated me with respect. They have bent over backwards to figure out the problem with my car and I appreciate that they truly care about their customers and their work. I fully recommend Nampa Total Car Care for all your mechanical problems.
