Service rep was very friendly & detailed with his check up maintenance of my system. He took pictures of my system to very the info he relayed to about what he found during his maintenance check. This was very good because when or if there are repairs to my system those pictures he took will prove the work to be done. I am very pleased with the work my rep preform this visit.

German came out and did a diagnostic. He was extremely professional and personable. He gave us our options for repair vs replacement and explained them well. We are very satisfied with the communication to set up the appointment as well. Ally was also great to speak with via phone. We would recommend them and will continue to use them for service.

Quoted an amount for this company to come service my AC unit. The tech did not need to preform a repair or service due to not finding a issue. He stated that he cleaned the wires on the unit outside and it was not a charge and “complementary” since the findings were the unit was perfectly fine. Calls due to the wrong amount being charged have been unanswered and not refunded. I filed fraud and now my bank believed their lies of the excessive amount they charged when no actual work was preformed and the tech was here less then 15 minutes! Legal action will be taken. Don’t use this company! Find another repair company.

The service technician Enrique was great. He was hard working and knowledgeable. However, the price for servicing my older unit with R-22 was borderline price gouging. They are charging $135 per pound when it is available for less than 1/2 that price. The last person I spoke to, Jordan, was fairly rude about their pricing and stated they can’t adjust that price, they’re in business to make money. And while I agree on that, there is no reason to price gouge refrigerant at an almost 200% markup.As good as their techs are, I won’t be doing business nor would I recommend them to anyone.

Action Air Conditioning, Heating and SolarI paid $1,577.00 through my contractor to have Action AC move my furnace. They were to simply move it straight up about 8 feet from my garage to my attic. Unfortunately since the move the furnace blows warm air for only a few minutes and then it fails. Also since the furnace was moved, my heat vents have been spewing a lot of dust and bits of insulation into our home.I called Actions service department and asked them to send someone out to fix the furnace. Their response, after two service technicians spent almost 3 hours in my attic, was that they want more than $700.00 in addition to what I have already paid them to fix the furnace. They don’t feel that the move caused the problem. The furnace worked fine before the move, and it doesn’t work after the move. How can it not be their responsibility to fix it?I also complained about the dust and insulation coming out the vents. There was none before the move, but in the process of moving the furnace they must have allowed dirt and insulation to enter the duct work. They say this isn’t their problem either, and if I recall correctly the technician told me that duct cleaning for my 9 ducts would cost more than $400.00. Together that totals over $1,100.00 in addition to what I have already paid to get my furnace working the way it was before they moved it. Worse than that, they told me they really need to replace all the ducts with new ones to solve the dirt problem. That would cost me $2,242.00 more. I feel very ripped off and it seems to be getting worse.I called and asked to speak to the owner of the company, Brian Amodio, because I wanted to try to work things out. It has been a week and so far he has chosen not to call me back. So I called again and asked for Mr. Amodio’s email to try again to explain my dissatisfaction. It has been several more days and I have received no response again.Don’t believe their website where they say: “100% Satisfaction Guarantee” and “Upfront Prices, No Hidden Costs” because this is not what I have experienced.Make your own decision - would you deal with this company?

The HVAC system that Raphael and Steve installed is working perfectly. They both worked efficiently and completed the job in one day as promised. They also cleaned up after they were done. We are thoroughly enjoying the new system they installed.

This was our third quote for new install a/c on a 2400+ sq foot home. Justin was incredibly professional, timely, knowledgeable, and presented us with another option we knew nothing about/hadn’t considered (which we ended up going with!) that took into account our goal for energy efficiency and aesthetics. I saw the 5-star reviews on Google and figured this level of customer service and professionalism would come at a cost premium but our quote was similar or less than previous quotes for a more energy efficient system that works much better for our household. Very pleased with our experience.

Horrible company. The tech came out to diagnose the problem with our heater. It was supposed to cost $72. He went overtime because he was incompetent. He said we needed a thermocouple. Ok, so he doesnt have the part and calls his comany to see about it. Meanwhile, he charges us $97 because he went over on his time without our permission. I shouldnt have paid it. Then, the company calls us back and says they cant get the part and we need a whole new heater. I didnt trust that answer, so I called out another company who has the part on his truck and fixes it for $75 in 45 minutes. Dont call action air, they just want to sell you on a new unit..In response to your response. The other company we called out knew nothing of the problem. We didnt tell them a thing. He started from scratch, so he did not have an advantage. And you told us you couId not get the part that was needed because it was no longer made and we had to buy a new unit, So,your rebuttal does not hold water. We felt that all you wanted was to sell us a new unit.

Action A/C was absolutely the best. Their customer service was outstanding, and the job was completed thoroughly and efficiently. And their prices were extremely fair and I felt like we got a great value for the money we spent. I recommend Action A/C highly and whole-heartedly.

After weighing the longevity and cost of the old compressor vs getting a new one, we opted to have a new AC/Heat system installed. Aramis was our installer and did a fantastic job. I called Action Air Conditioning last week and scheduled an appointment to have my Air Conditioner looked at. The appointment process was simple and straight forward. They were upfront with the fact that they charge a minimum service charge in addition to whatever repairs are needed. Leading-up to the appointment, I received a call reminding me about my appointment the next following business day. I was also given a time-frame of when I can expect the technician to show-up. On the day of the appointment, I received an email containing information about the technician, including a picture. The technician, Arturo Rivera, arrived at more towards the earlier part of that window I was given. Arturo was very friendly, professional and identified the problem right away. After a quick swap of a capacitor, my central air was up and running again. I will definitely call Action Air Conditioning again for anything related to my homes heating and air.

Juan was knowledgeable, constructively and instructively communicative.This is a follow up. Juan’s first visit identified the problem and the solution. This second visit, Juan told me exactly what was going to be done, how long it would take, and what results to expect. Everything worked out fine, and I’m very satisfied with the results. Arrived on time and ready to go. Very clean. Laid down canvas and wore booties. We asked if they wouldnt mind putting in our new filter in the AC unit in the attic while they were up there, and they said No problem! Easy to talk to and to communicate with.

We haven’t hired them yet, but their proposal was the best we received and we’ll be moving forward in a few months!

I had been dreading having to decide whether it would be best to try to repair or replace my a/c unit. I met with 2 other companies representatives and while their professionalism, knowledge and customer service were adequate, I had the privilege of working with Justin from Action Air Condition. My daughter and I are tenants at 903 La Fiesta Way where Action installed a new heating and air conditioning system. We were very impressed with Josh and Preston, who were the installers. They arrived at 8:00 a.m. on Monday as expected and worked very hard all day, always considerate (6 ft. social distancing) and quiet. They were very neat, cleaning after themselves as needed and protecting all surfaces.Tuesday morning they were back as promised at 8:00 a.m. and both the new heater and air conditioner were installed with all ductwork, filters and vents by the end of the day. Living in the Borrego Desert @ 120 degrees plus means you must rely on your ac.In the 5 years I have been an Action customer they have never let me down, regardless of the fact we are located over a 2 hour drive each way for a service call.Simone and the Service Department went above and beyond yesterday when one of my main units went down, 110 degrees and climbing.After their first Tech struggled for hours unable to determine the problem, Simone redirected another Tech over 50 miles away to help.Arturo Rivera to the rescue. This young guy was amazing. Even though it was closing time after a long day in record breaking heat, he drove in the opposite direction of his home, arriving just shy of 7 pm and jumped into my nightmare with a positive and professional attitude!Under the house, in the house, under the house again, Arturo hammered on this system nonstop and the whole time assuring me hed get it going again.A little past 8 pm he switched the thermo to cool and my 4 ton package unit came alive. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped us to narrow down quickly what kind of product we would need and also helped us to envision the right location of an AC unit in our very small backyard. Justin was the reason why we decided to go with Action Air Conditioning!! We had two other companies come to our house to give us an estimate. One was so unprepared no ladder, tape measure and no shoe covers. The other promised to email an estimate by a certain date and we had to call him days later. Justin answered all our questions gave us three different options and is so professional. We knew right away we would have Action Air install our A/C.

We had our A/C unit installed by Action Air. The delivery and install met our every expectation. However, after a period of time a puzzling mechanical problem occured. After a number of attempts to correct the problem the compressor was changed out in its entirely. Throughout this period Action Air was fully supportive in correcting the problem, their technicians were always prompt, courteous and professional. I would fully recommend this company for your A/C needs.

We were very happy with the service we received from Juan at Action. First of all, he was courteous, professional and friendly. We already knew we needed a new board which he brought with him, but then he found another issue and needed an additional part. He called the shop, they didnt have one available so they called around and found one in Escondido. Juan took the time to go to Escondido (in busy traffic) to get the part so we wouldnt be without heat the next day. Were in San Marcos and it was about 45 degrees in the morning at the time. Juan took the time to explain everything he was doing and why. This is the 3rd time weve used Action and will certainly call them for future needs.

The crew at Action Air Conditioning did a great job and at a great price!! They replaced an older A/C unit that was at my rental property. In less than two days the tech crew replaced the A/C, Thermostat, Heater and duct work. They worked efficiently and were considerate of my tenants health and safety by wearing PPE. They cleaned their work area and left no trash or materials behind..all this during the Covid-19 pandemic!! Theyre professionals and I will call they again to install a unit at my home. I highly recommend them!
