Steve is fabulous at his job. I have a history with him and Americare. When I lived on Enon Springs Rd in Smyrna he REALLY helped me. I had a terrible fly infestation and he worked so hard and was so faithful. He was able to find the source of how they were getting in and he was able to eradicate them (it was not an easy fix). I moved out of state and came back to Smyrna this summer. I called Americare and was praying Steve did not retire!! I am so grateful to have him coming to take care of my home. He was one of the kindest persons I have met and very, very good at his job. Americare, he really makes your company shine!

Then theyre rude when you dont immediately want to schedule with them. This was another quarterly service inspection and spray. Americare always shows within or before the agreed upon time slot. They always use shoe covers even when the house has been covered in drywall dust! And with it being wet and drizzly today as in past appts when unable to completely check and spray outside, they always return next sunny weekday to complete service! Americare also did my termite mitigation and continues to due the yearly check. No sign of termites! Thank you!!

Travis Hawley provides 5 star service!!

The year 2020 has not been a good year. Besides all the COVID craziness, we were visited by a family of skunks in our crawlspace at the end of January, beginning of February. We decided to use AmeriCare. They quickly came out and remedied the problem: trapping the skunks, cleaning out the skunk mess, sanitizing the crawlspace, and sealing points of entry in our crawlspace to prevent this happening again. We were guaranteed the sealed areas would prevent any pests to get in for years.Well, fast forward 6 months and those stinky pests came back. They somehow got through the seals. We immediately called AmeriCare and asked them to assist with the problem. They sent out pest control to assess the situation. Travis Hawley, the pest control technician surveyed the sealed areas and identified that the original point of entry was never sealed. Everywhere else in the crawlspace was done properly but not at the original point of entry, which was very odd. Travis set a trap for the skunks and called his supervisor. He let us know that someone for the “sealing” department would be contacting us soon.3 days pass and no phone call. I called Americare on the 4th day. They stated the supervisor Lance would be calling me. Lance never called me. 5th day, I called morning, lunch, and evening. Still Lance was unavailable. When they said he would be available at so and so time, he wasn’t available when that time arrived. He never called me back and I could never reach him. The answering clerks who forward your call to the appropriate party were always rude when I would call to ask for him. And it wasn’t a blatant rudeness, it was that mean kind of rude, where they know it’s you calling again and they make a fake, not personal, professional tone as if you’re the stupid person on the line. I did NOT appreciate being treated this way. If they were experiencing what I was experiencing, (imagine skunks spraying every time your HVAC kicks on because the noise startles them. Imagine the smells you cannot escape because it is living underneath your feet) they would not want to be treated the way those ladies did to me on the phone. Lance would not like getting the runaround from a supervisor whose company completed an incomplete job 6 months prior. It was not right.I was so infuriated and frustrated with Americare. The only reason I am writing this review is not because of all the bad. It was because out of ALL the associates I had to interact with, the only shining light was Travis Hawley. During my attempts to contact Lance, he sent out Travis to come pick up the trap, about day 6. Travis was extremely courteous, kind, and genuine. He could not understand why/how the skunks were able to break through the barrier but he tried his best to remedy the situation. He also could not fathom why the seal was not done properly and why Americare was not expediting the situation. He sincerely felt my pain and stated he would be attending a certain meeting back at Americare to take over the job. He said my situation was ridiculous and that he would do the job himself to remedy it. He stepped to the plate and did what Lance was too “busy” to do.Americare needs to make sure they keep people like Travis. Someone who can assess a situation, admit accountability, communicate what the next steps are, and just follow through. It was all I was asking for. So THANK YOU, TRAVIS HAWLEY for saving my house of those wretched skunks! You are a lifesaver and deserve to be recognized by a satisfied customer. Thank you for manning up and taking care of business.

I called the company in the morning after finding their website. I needed my home crawlspace inspected for mold because of Indoor air quality. They had an inspector out to my house within 4 hours, Darren Kidd. He told me what I needed to have completed and helped me think of potential ways to pay for the service. That was also helpful because I am on a fixed income. He was very polite.

Jim Nelson came out to inspect work done by AmeriCare over the past few years.As with the installer Harry, Jim and the entire team at the office were fantastic to work with.I highly recommend AmeriCare for crawlspace moisture remedies. They took care of us.

After repeated calls and declining a terminte inspection we were billed for one anyway. Apparently Americare performed a unauthorized inspection that cannot be verified since no one in my home knew about or approved. I have tried to contact billing office but receive a voice mail box that cannot accept anymore messages because its full. This is shady and unprofessional. Today I noticed a finance charge is applied to my bill for their unauthorized work that we have not paid yet. I want this resolved.

Had service scheduled for today and I had to call to find out that my service had been re-scheduled for a later date, when my spouse and I had to ask for day off at work.. she works from home.. cancel our babysitter to come to the house, board our dog, just so we can be out of the house for 4 hours for them to do their job and I am the one that had to call the morning of service to find out that they are not coming.. had all of that planned 2 weeks ahead, I asked for my refund and they said it will take 5-7 business day to get it back, but interesting that it took 3 seconds for them to collect my initial deposit to secure service for today.

I called Americare because I suspected we might have a mouse in the house and I didnt want to just burn it down and move. Tony came out within a few hours, set bait in the attic and crawl space and other areas, sprayed inside and out for bugs, and even knocked down several wasp nests we had outside that I was unaware of. Whew! Great job, Tony, of making us all feel more safe in our home. Death to all the mice!

I have called the customer service line five time and have not received a call back. I spoke once with a lady there and she assured me she would have the manager call me back -- he never called. Ive had to open a BBB case to see if they can get Americares attention. Prices are good, service if horrible.The manager did call me back finally and in addition to apologizing, he gave me his number if I ever need anything else. He was very nice, its just unfortunate that it had to come to this. They did come back out and retreat my house and so far no more ants.

He completely went through the house and inspected every corner and even under the stove (yuck)He set indoor and outdoor bait stations and took the time to show me where these pesky little rodents were getting in and plugged the holes.This was a month ago, and I have not seen any evidence of visitors, nor I have seen one in the house - THANK GOODNESS!He is very polite, kind, professional, but most of all, he is patient.
