Mireya set a new bar with the fade I got. She truly understand how to manage hair and can take it beyond whats requested based on each individual. Its hard to explain something you dont understand, I dont understand hair and conveying what I desire isnt easy. Mireya definitely read through this and provided a meticulously detailed fade. I wont be going anywhere else for a haircut as long as Im in the area.These are real barbers.

So I got an appointment for 11am and was there by a few minutes before to see no one inside and the door locked!!!But you know as they say the wife is always right - she insisted we wait for a few minutes and boy did it change my day!!So this is a first for me in more ways than one, first of all sporting a beard and now this grooming. But with my wife guidance and the deftness and expertise of Will Gomez, I have transformed from a haggard to a smartly styled and groomed gentlemen!! To the extent an ogre can become a spiffy styled gent from uptown London!Thank you Will, I promise to keep the beard and keep coming over to you for not only keeping it groomed and shaped but also for the wonderful hot towel face massage, that almost put me to keep!!!Talk of activities that make a relaxing day, well this is certainly that would be one of top to-dos for me, from now on!

Just wanted to show some love for this experience at Dandies’ Barbershop. I showed up a little early for my cut, but the barber was finishing up another haircut. She politely introduced herself and offered me a drink. That water was refreshing ;) Once we got to the haircut, Mireya made me feel so comfortable. I told her what I wanted and showed her pictures of previous haircuts. What she suggested was spot on. She worked meticulously and definitely pays closeeee attention to detail. Was really nice having some small talk too. Overall GREAT experience and haircut turned out AWESOME! Big shout out to Mireya! Def will go to her again

I went in for a basic beard trim and informed the barber I just wanted the beard trim because I was growing my hair out and had been for the last 6 months. Two barbers worked on me, didnt communicate and end up shaving parts of my head. I was forced to go pay for a haircut at another place where I had to chop all my hair off that I had been growing. Do not go here. They were extremely unprofessional. One barber was on the phone with his girlfriend on headphones while working on me. $50 for a beard trim and ended up having to chop all my hair off.mad doesnt describe how I feel.

Mireya is both meticulous and skilled—asked me lots of questions about how I’d like my hair cut along the way. I will definitely be back for another!

Brilliant but highly underrated, Dandies barbershop is located on Castro Street and has been open since 3 months. I came here for a regular Line up/ Razor finish and could not have asked for a better service. The person who did my beard communicated clearly with me to know what I was looking for, gave me a couple of options that would suit my beard style and then went on to do a fantastic job in the next 15 minutes. He also managed to give me a customized trim on the house which was indeed very generous.For $15 and such a high quality of service, Id truly recommend this place for anyone looking for a clean and fast trim. I personally cant recollect the number of times Ive made a mess of my beard and Im thankful that these guys opened shop right on Castro. Next on my bucket list is to come here for a haircut :-).Mountain View needs more places like these

I booked an appointment, then realized I couldnt make that time and called them immediately after and tried to cancel. They said they would cancel it without even asking me for any details and just hung up, surprise surprise it didnt get cancelled. After receiving a reminder text in the morning I called them and left a message because no one answered. I then got another reminder text a few hours later so I called them a 3rd time. It finally got cancelled that time, but because it was so late (because of them) my debit card had already been charged.I cant believe how much of a hassle it was just to cancel an appointment, absolutely ridiculous.

I had beard line up and straight razor head shave from Singh. He did a great job. I will coming back to Dandies again.

Dandies is open again! They are operating outside in a tent near their barber shop, but they have made a great experience. The staff, as usual, is awesome. So if you were concerned about booking thinking it wasnt really open, go ahead -- you wont be disappointed. Dont let the current environment deter you -- their tent is right by the shop, its under a tree, nice gentle breeze, and the air is nice (probably the trees kicking in some oxygen.) Ill be back!

My man Will pays attention to detail. I seriously appreciate it. This haircut is the best I have had in years. Not to mention hes got a great attitude, hes easy to talk to, and the scotch helps bring Monday to a close the right way. I tried another place in town, and it wasnt for me. I will be back, and Im looking forward to it.

Very bad customer service. Came to my appointment at 11 am, but the place was closed. Tried to call - transfered to voicemail, waited for 10 min, but nobody showed up. 15 min later the appointment time got a call asking if I was going to show up to my appointment. Seriously? What kind of professionalism is that, making your customer wait in front of closed doors, and not even give a heads up that you are running late. For a newer place this a very bad business strategy.

The best one in the region! Since I moved, tried several others and none gets closer to what these guys can do, I had few haircuts before I wrote this review, and it’s great! Best place for your hair and beard!

Best barbershop in Mountain View. Got beard shaped from Nate. Definitely a place to get your beard clean up done. They also have $10 off coupon. Employees are super friendly, listen to the clients what they really want, check in with every few minutes if everything is good. Will be coming back again :-)

This place is just what mountain view needs a professional, calm, clean, upscale barbershop offering traditional barber methods like the Hot towel shave (which is amazing) and a positive relaxing vibe. You’re in for an EXPERIENCE! Not a rush job enjoy!

On my first time trying this place, I came in to get my regular haircut and the barber recommended that I try a different way to part my hair. I said sure why not and it now looks a lot better than it did before.

Made appointment at 8am for 11am (an hour after they claimed to open). Went to the shop at 11, but nobody there until I left at 11:15. No sign in the window or anything like that. Later, I got a message saying they werent actually open today but the scheduling system wasnt updated. A modern business that ONLY has on-line scheduling doesnt keep their schedule up to date on-line? How else are they going to do a bad job? Two stars because they bothered to follow-up and apologize, though that doesnt get my wasted time back.Edit: offer of free haircut would have meant more it it was made at the first contact, BEFORE I wrote the review. But it is a nice gesture.

Got a haircut and beard trim here from Sam. The service I received and quality of the hair cut was alright but not up to par with what Im used to getting from other reputable barbershops. Im from Toronto so it could just be that the standard for cutting and shaving is different here but for $90 I was expecting more.

Came in for a beard trim, really happy with the results. Good shape, good shave, good company.
