They put in rotors that were rusted. When I asked about them, they said it’s fine. I had squeaking and it sounded odd when I turned to the right after that. Went back, ensured me it was fine. David is very knowledgeable and gives quality service, but I think it used to be less about getting money from clients and focused on quality service.

Extremely highly recommended. Ray and David care about the customers best interest first and foremost. Brilliant mechanic skills as well. Ive brought in my car many times with many different problems. All have been fixed with outstanding results every time. Many upgrades as well. Its a solid ride now.

Been here in the past for inspections and they have great service. Theyre also honest on what needs to be done and what doesnt instead of just throwing bills at you. example: Took my car there for an annual inspection and they told me smog check is actually every 2 years and the car looked fine so there was no charge. This is what makes me come back. Highly recommend.

I was referred by my friend to see Ray and Peninsula Auto and this is one of the best experiences at a auto shop ever. I worked at a dealership and have taken my cars/trucks many places but this place has the most reasonable prices and best quality around. I took my 15’ Tacoma here a couple times already for maintenance and they are he most honest straight forward guys I’ve dealt with. This is the only place I take my car(s). Ray is the most honest mechanic, I have ever known, and does stellar work. He fixed a check engine light on my Audi, that other mechanics could not find. (Slight leak in fuel system and everyone else thought it was the gas cap.) His advice for repairs are honest and in my best interest, and not about him making money.
