After calling around I really appreciated Peter for his responsive calls to explain all the details with pricing and status, and his customer service is exemplary! My car was fixed in record time at a very reasonable price, and I was so grateful for aIl the support Peter provided in between to explain what was happening and why. He really goes above and beyond and my car is in much better shape than I had left off earlier. He even helped me through some AAA issues and gave me a contact to tow my car. They did a great job, the guys are friendly and accommodating. The Sentra is a low flying jet now, they installed coilovers to lower the car. Nissan wanted to charge me 3x the amount, I am completely satisfied with the work done and will return, repeat business from me for sure. Ill add pictures, my pony looks great!

Excellent Service! I have been using Deans Automotive since beginning 2009 and I really like the service. It is clearly explained, professional, I can get a ride to where I need to be while they are working on my car and a ride back to pick it up once done. I even had a good surprise as they fixed a little extra that I notices later. To summarize, excellent work, great service, reasonably priced, and honest! I recommend using Deans automotive!

Friendly service and same-day speed! A fair price and good communication for checking my brakes and aligning my Honda Civics steering.

The good: I had a somewhat weird cold-shift issue occuring, they felt it out and told me yeah, its a small problem, but theres no harm in waiting until its a PROBLEM. I think they gave me a break on the diagnostic charge too. - I appreciated the honesty and returned later for an oil change.The bad: I got the car back from the oil change and there was black marks (dirt/grime/whatever, nothing permanent) on my passenger seat and a-pillar.Why was someone in the passenger seat? Well, they checked my cabin air filter for me (its in the glove box) and told me it needed replacement. I laughed. Id just done it myself. The cabin air filter was as white as a sheet of paper. I double checked. Nope, nothing had died in there in the past month.I will not be returning.

Excellent, honest guy (Joe) read my engine light code for free, even looked it up on his cellphone for me. No charge. Turned out to be a loose gas cap. Many would have tried to make something out of nothing. So this review is his reward! Would highly recommend.

Ive been bringing my car to Deans for a little over a year now, and I have decided that I will not bring my car anywhere else! In addition to their excellent work, their service advisor George is a good guy who really breaks everything down for you. I also read the owners book Fearless Auto Care that gave me tons of great info about what I should know about maintaining my car and what questions to ask an auto repair facility. The irony, of course, is that I dont need to ask questions at Deans: Theyre fantastic and professional, and like I said, I wont take my car anywhere else!

WOW.... I wish i could give you more stars. I cant say enough about DEANS. From the time i walked in to the time i left they were great :). I dropped my car off and spoke with George and another and they went over everything that they were going to do and told me they would keep me posted. I was offered a ride home which was great so i didnt have to wait around. That same day i got a call from them telling me what was going on and gave me a estimate of how long it would take.The next day i got another call telling me that it would be ready that evening. When i got there i was surprised to see my car sparkling clean....they washed it. I went inside to pay and they went over everything they did, talked about the warranty, and told me about a rewards program they have where a certain percentage i spend goes back to a card that i can use on my next visit....SUPER COOL.I liked that i wasnt pressured into anything my car didnt need, only gave me suggestion. I felt like they truly cared about me and MY CAR. I will be going back again and will make sure my family and Friends know about this place.YOU GUYS ROCK!

I had a minor problem with a loose exhaust heat shield. I took the car to Deans and they repaired it on the spot in just a few minutes, no appointment needed. They didnt even charge anything for the repair! Terrific, friendly service. Ill be a repeat customer.

Found Deans Automotive through the Amsoil website, they were super friendly and were able to fit me in next day for an oil change. They also did a once over on the car while it was in for an oil change to make sure everything looked good.

Found Deans on google. Gave them a call to get a quote for a brake job for my BMW. They quoted me $650, which seemed high. I called 3 other places, they all quoted me between $800 to $1000, so I knew what to do. I took it to Deans early next day, met George, who called me by my name when he saw me -- a very nice man. Left the car with them, they called me about two hours later to tell me it was finished. Picked it up and drove off a happy camper. Great work at a great price, tough to beat. Now I know where to go next time.

Ive been taking my Honda Accords to Deans Automotive every 7,500 miles for many years now because Im confident they can be trusted to do the right work at the right time and do it properly. (The AMSOIL synthetic they recommend easily lasts that long, so theres no need to change the oil between visits.) Their preventive maintenance approach means (for instance) that they check the coolant for the right acidity, and the brake fluid for too much moisture, and so on, and they flush the systems thoroughly (as opposed to just checking levels and draining some-but-not-all by gravity). They want to ensure years of trouble-free driving in your current car, without the conflict of interest that dealers must be affected by (trying to sell you a newer model—we know proper maintenance is a lot less expensive than that). Im confident Warren makes a point of keeping his staff well trained on the modern technologies and provides them with all the necessary sophisticated equipment. Ive always been given an appointment the day I want it. The ride to work cheerfully provided after I drop the car off is a big help, and its comforting to know that its being left in good hands. Look for Warrens occasional column in the Los Altos Town Crier, and youll be reassured too. Sorry if this sounds like an ad, but excellent service deserves appropriate praise and Im happy to help spread the word.

I recently moved to Mountain View and needed an oil change in a used VW Passat I had bought (highlighted by the oil light coming on!). I spoke to George at Deans Auto (at around 3 pm) who offered to take a look at the car the same day and fitted me in for the oil service the very next morning. My wife took the car and was really impressed with the service they offered. The price was very reasonable and they even gave the car a multi-point check to reassure us that everything was in order. In summary we were totally impressed with the speed, quality and value of Deans Automotive. Many thanks to George and the team there - we will definitely be using your garage for any future auto needs we may have!

Took care of my car just an hour before closing. Including ordering parts My regular ex-repair place had stripped out 6 lug studs. Found out after getting a flat and couldnt mount the spare Needed them fixed to make the commute home.

Getting my alignment done was the last step in a series of fixes I was doing myself and I took it to Deans to get the alignment done. Once I got it back the shaking issue I was trying to address was basically gone. Thanks, guys.
