This store is hit or Miss unfortunately. If you have friendly helpful staff, then generally speaking the store is not stocked and the store is in shambles. if you have a stocked store and its clean, the employees not so friendly 🤷🏻‍♀️

The store in general is decent. The Manager should never scold her employees in front of others. Complains about job constantly to others.

This is not my normal DG, but had to make a fast stop and they had what I needed. I consider DG our own little Community Mall. Happy Easter

Its a dollar items which nothing to expect more than low quality and wired people in the store all they trying to do is stealing.

In and out quick but alot of there stock was still on the floor.

Went in for a few groceries. There was a ton of options and all the food was well stocked. Staff was friendly, store was clean. I will return.

This is one of the few Dollar Generals in Morganton in which the merchandise is actually stocked neatly, making it easy to shop.

The cashier that checked me out on Christmas eve was so nice. Unfortunately I didnt get her name.

Convenient because it is close to my home, but the store is always a mess. Other locations are much more organized.

Great deals usually have what I need for a quick cheap trip without having to go 20 more minutes into town. Sometimes wait times at counters can get a little crazy with only one register open while other employees seem to see the line and almost as they are trying to hide so not to have to help.

Its a good store to stop at but sometimes they are really slow.

The girl behind at the register must have been in a bad mood cause she was smart mouthed and down right rude.The aisles in the store stays blocked and congested with stock buggies and empty boxes. Its getting to the point where Id just as soon go to Walmart or drive miles out of the way so I dont have to stop at that particular store.

I went here tonight and they were rude. I asked for two different kinds of cigarettes and the employee gave me one kind I asked for but the other one was not what I had told him I wanted. I showed him my license and zipped up my wallet so I didnt realize the other pack was not the right one until after I paid for them. I was still standing at the counter and told him that was not what I had asked him to get. He argued with me and said yes it is. I told him no and I had no clue that brand even existed. He went to get the manager who also argued with me about switching them out because I had already paid for them. She said it was the law that they cant switch them. You can if you dont walk out of the store. Maybe it is but I was still in the store and it was not what I had asked for. I spend a lot of money at this particular dollar store but I guess now Ill go out of the county if I have to after being treated this way. The manager was really rude and arguing me the whole time. She was really hateful. I wasnt leaving until I got what I had asked for. Its not my fault he miss understood me. This is no way to treat your regular customers. Mind you there was other customers in the store who heard the way I was talked to. How embarrassing. Seriously, someone needs sinrge more training on how to treat their customers with respect. Ill be calling corporate in a few.

Remodeled looks nice and lots of new items in store. Did not update card scanner though. So of course had to reset it several times. Cashier was great about it though he figured it out quickly enough. And apologized for its inconvenience.

This location has been newly remodeled and its like night and day. Before it was cluttered and unorganized but since the remodel Ive been enjoying shopping there. The floor plan is really good. My family and I appreciate the convenient location. Docking a star however for substandard stationary and crappy wine selection. Its bad even for a dollar store.

This is a good store for paper products and the things you may need that you forgot at the grocery store.
