Nice quick place to shop. Needs better organized and maintained

Other than long lines I have good experiences here. They always have fully stocked shelves so Im happy.

Its a nice place but they seem understaffed a lot and I commonly hear complaints about it which is sad because its a great store and Ive applied time after time after time after time after time to help out but I dont ever hear back from them. Good luck to their employees though

Employees like to stand around and tall about how wonderful they are compared to other DG stores when they could be working

Small store, did not have what I needed, but the staff where friendly and helpful.

Im sorry but the secret society who gets there weekly groceries here for their family to eat are immune to any disease.

I get tired of going to DG when something is on sale and they dont have any on the 1st day of the sale even.

Always nice place to go

I was very disappointed upon seeing the cashier wearing her mask on her CHIN!! Nose not covered. Mouth not covered. With covid spreading so rapidly it is dangerous for others!! Does Dollar General not care for their customers???

I love this store! Everything from cleaning supplies and toiletries to snacks for the kiddos! But the reason my Family and I refer to this location as “Our” Dollar General is the amazing staff. The Ladies are as hardworking and diligent as they come. Always courteous and friendly, stopping anything they are in the middle of to aid. Customer satisfaction is definitely their overall priority!!!

Crowded with racks of merchandise. Hard to maneuver a cart through isles.

They have aloe vera drink with pulp in it. Very healthy.

It really has gone down hill since it was cleaned up and improved. So disappointed

Clean and employees are courteous and friendly... I think the company itself should treat them better and pay them more. They are hard working.

Theres always a long line because they only have 1 cashier working. The supervisors/key holders very seldom get on a register to help. Theres only 2 or 3 of them that are friendly, the rest are rude and act like youre putting them out if you ask a question.

Like most places its hard to put stuff away when people keep walking in the doors they are a busy DG in Monmouth

Store was dirty with stuff puled i. the isles, staff qas rude and they all had their masks on their chins Dollar General on N. Main is horrible

I go for convenience but both Dollar General stores in our town are cluttered and dirty. I dont blame the clerks. They are too busy to stock, clean and wait on people. The management needs to hear about this. Treat your staff in the stores better...

Great place to shop at and friendly workers

To many boxes blocking isle throughout store. Bathroom not clean.

The place was a mess and long line check out but got what I needed after a scavenger hunt

Some of the personnel could use more knowledge about the way some of their equipment works, but the staff is generally nice.

I would love to be able to go shopping in here, but the aisles are so crammed pack of stuff, a wheelchair just cant get around in it

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Somebody came in with a service dog who was barking and pulling, jumping, and growled at me. Staff did nothing about it. Very irresponsible. Thankfully, my own service animal was G home due to personal reasons. The situation could have been dangerous for her and I.

The store and employees are pretty much 5 star. DGs digital coupons really really suck. Id give them a -5 to the 5th power.

Its cheap and in Monmouth so dont have to go to Galesburg

The last time I went, I got supplies for a craft project and was surprised by the variety and quality of the items. I dont have to go to Galesburg when I can get the same items at the Dollar General in town.

Its small and doesnt have a lot of product but the employees are friendly just dont go to this one if youre in a hurry. Theres only one register and its a very high traffic store.

Place is always a mess, aisles full of their giant carts. People talking to each other not wanting to move .Nobody at the check out, Ill skip and go to Walmart
