Our SQL servers went down and they were able to recover the data and get us back up and going in short order. I dont write reviews very often but their business division really exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to working with them regularly for maintenance. Wed been working with local computer repair stores for years and had no idea companies like Gulf Coast IT Solutions even existed. Now we know where to go with the larger, more critical projects.

My Mac was running terribly slow and Apple support helped me remove any issues which could have been the cause. It didn’t take long before it was doing it again. So I took it to IT solutions and immediately they were able to recognize it was a hard drive issue. So I did the emergency fix and my computer was fixed by that afternoon, just before it likely crashed. It’s running perfect now and better than a new computer. My computer is my job, so a few things are extremely important to me 1. Trust in leaving my computer 2. Speedy fix 3. Communication. They exceeded all my expectations! Jenny called several times to report progress and even after the repair she called to make sure everything was running smoothly. I highly recommend them and will use them for any work in the future.

Absolutely by far...the most amazing techs/people Ive ever met. Afteranother computer company erased everything on my computer, without my consent or telling me what they were doing....I was devastated. I called this company which was located not far from me. 2 techs came to my house and took my computer. They kept me updated on everything. After my computer was returned, the time that was taken by them explaining everything to me still amazes me. I dont know what I would have done without these amazing people as my livelihood is working on my computer. I give these people more than a 5 star rating for service, price, knowledge and the best customer service ever! I would never use anyone else. I will recommend them to everyone!!

Friendly staff. Very knowledgeable and fair pricing. Recovered my data from a dead hard drive. They also are able to work on laptops and desktops for both Apple and other brands. I highly recommend them.

Staff is friendly and helpful. They clearly care about wanting to make the customer happy. Hence why they earned 2 stars instead of 0. The other three were subtracted based on the state of my computer after receiving it back. With every passing day, I feel like I discover a new disappointment with its current running state. I wanted them to be amazing based on all of the 5 star reviews. My 2011 iMac had a flickering screen and eventually went black, but turns on without the classic chime - so I took it to Gulf Coast IT. I was told 2 days - we are now into the second week. Which would be fine, if I was given an accurate estimate to begin with. Instead I’ve had to call repeatedly asking for updates, And told that it will be 1 more day. Annoying but fine - staff seems knowledgeable enough. I went into the store to replicate the issue, since they couldn’t and it resulted in them needing to open the computer up. Awesome. I’m just happy they found the problem and I’m excited to get my computer running like new. I was told they would be using my computer as an example to train an employee on how to open up and put back together an iMac. (Just cleaning it out and applying thermal paste) I thought this was great - and I was happy my computer could help with that training and boy was I wrong. I had my other half pick up my computer for me, so I didn’t see the result until my computer was home and the services were paid for. I don’t think they checked the trainee’s work after he was done. Not only did they ask me if I provided my power cord and have to go find it (not organized), I was told it took them 20 min to figure out how to put my iMac back in the box. They ended up packing it in the box (original apple packaging) upside down (how?!?) The screen wasn’t put back on all the way and something rattled when I flipped the computer the right way up. Loose screw? Loose part? Who knows. They also had to search for the power cable when it was picked up - so I doubt they tested it to see if it would turn on after taking it apart. Now I have to go back up there, because I’m afraid if I open it up it’ll look like the ‘mad watch’ from Alice in Wonderland and thats not a sight I wanna see. Hopefully this will turn out fine in the end.Update: I took my iMac back - they were very accommodating and apologetic about the state they left my computer in. They fixed it and also informed me that they accidentally over charged me and reversed that excess amount back onto my card. Overall I can tell that they are a reputable business and wanted to make my situation right, even if they keep screwing up my computer. Fast forward to today - my fans have been running at full speed 100% of the time since I received my computer back (Not great thats how you burn out your fans. I ended up downloading an app to control them, so I dont have to go back), I now have multiple dead pixels and the inside of the glass screen is now chipped on the top left corner where they removed it. Also my screen still flickers occasionally, and that loose screw? I was told it was an extra that didnt actually have a home. If you take apart and put back together any object. Its never a good sign if you have extra pieces. Everything has a purpose. smh. Nice people. But not competent or organized. I wont go back there and I wouldnt recommend them to anyone I know.

Great service all around. Tech saved my computer after it had no hope. Spilled sprite into the keyboard and left it for four months and he was still able to get it working to mint condition. Kept me updated everyday about what was going on so I never was out of the loop.

About two years ago I brought my moms laptop in because she said it was running really slow. Tyler fixed it and its been running better than ever still. Also about a year ago he built me a PC for gaming. I absolutely love it and I will ALWAYS recommend his store for something as simple as removing viruses or having a professional build a PC. Great service, great people, great place. My external hard drive crashed so I took it to them desperately needing help. They extracted everything from the hard drive within 24 hours and it cost me $50 rather than the $600 it was going to cost to get it shipped off. Definitely recommend!

Ive been a customer of Gulf Coast IT Solutions for many years; they designed and built my current computer ( a screamer!) and when this one gets old, they will likely be my first call for a replacement.If these folks can consistently satisfy me, a crusty old guy, Im satisfied they can be your computers best friend too.

I would send anyone here before I send them to any other Computer Store, main reason the owner isnt going to Bullsh** out of money. If your computer doesnt need it, he isnt going to push random junk on you. You tell him the problem, he finds the issue and makes sure you are satisfied with the results. Head there and ask for Tyler, I promise you there isnt an issue he hasnt seen or havent found the solution for.

Went to get my PC an antivirus program and cleaning. It was for a decent price and my computer was ready in no time. They were very professional and helped me understand the process.

I have gone to see ty twice to upgrade my machine and to stay some what current every times he’s knocked it out of the park.my 2nd machine is only few days old to me but no issues and runs perfect and I paid a very fair price imo. But first machine he upgraded and maxed out a ten year old computer and I never had to get anything fixed or even reformatted I daily used it for 3 years after the upgrade and never even turned off machine. Zero problems with these guys. I’ll be back when I can afford a 2080ti or when I get board with this machine.

I brought my MacBook Pro in after a friend spilled a drink on it. It wouldnt turn on at all. I shopped around town and either no one wanted to deal with it or they wanted way too much money. I tried this store and while it was a little pricey (I own an Apple computer so everything is expensive anyway) they brought it back to life. Roll Tide!

I have been in and out of EA a few times. The prices are resonalble and the deals are more then fair. Service is quick and the return calls are prompt. As soon as he is finshed with a PC or a fix he will let you know strait away if there was something else was wrong or that your ready to go.His shop is also professional in appearance and very clean. A lot better to some of the places Ive been to. While I am more concerned about the end result of the job I know others will appreciate the level of quality in work and business outlook.

I cant thank the technicians enough. They came out promptly, and properly diagnosed the issues my mother was having on with AT&T her multiple AT&T services. AT&T said they could be out in a week to ten days, and recommended she send everything back.I decided to contact Gulf Coast IT Solutions on her behalf. Mind you, Im 500 miles away and wasnt sure... Well - The Gulf Coast Tech team quickly reviewed her equipment, properly installed it & reconnected all her AT&T devices. Then they took the time to walk her thru what to do should she experience a similar issue. I cant thank them enough for not only how grateful she was to have her Netflix, Wifi, and Facetime back up and running - but so was the family member. I hope if you read this and are unsure, dont be.
