Do not come here. The personal don’t know what is the meaning of a good service, the guy working on my car was checking his mobile any minutes instead of doing his job, he was extremely slow. After did the formal complain, the manager said “everyone wants the perfect attention” This review is a warning, don’t como to this location.

I’ve drop multiple cars here before and they always been life savers !My Nissan Altima battery was dead bad and I called them up and hey helped me out swapping out battery and I love this guys because they keep real front desk James and his mechanics are such a nice guys man deserve a raise and specially saving people life’s during this pandemic.My Nissan is what helps me pay my bills and I need it. And I gave them a call and they guaranteed me everything if they don’t have What I need they will tell me and not waste my time or assure that they can get it and help me. They are real and don’t talk to you like robots they help you like family.

Came here a few years ago asking if they knew of a shop that would fix trucks, turns out this shop finally figured out what was wrong with my truck. I’ve been coming here for years and have always had a great experience, Chris really takes care of his customers. Been bringing my fleet here ever since.

When I went in, I was greeted by Chris at front desk in English, which is rarity in Doral. Shop and office looked clean with a big waiting area and a 4k TV hooked up to Netflix. I was here for an oil change, tire rotation, and tire balance (cuz the steering wheel gets shaky after 50 - 55 mph). He showed me the car after a half hour of waiting to let me know that shocks werent in great shape, and inner sides of front left tires were wavy and back rear tire was worse. I could see what he meant for the front tire, cuz treads were missing on the inner edge and the rest of that front tire didnt look like that. I didnt feel any bumps or waves like he mentioned. Also, the back rear tires looked fine. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Anyway, I told him I didnt want the cabin air filter replaced, cuz I planned to do it myself, then I went back in to wait again for them to finish up. After a regular oil change promo I found ($20), and $58 for tire balance, plus their 7% charge on any work over $59 (a policy of theirs) and tax...the total came out to be about $92. When paying, Chris at front desk went through all the charges real quick, and Im not good with verbal listing (Im a visual learner), so he was kind enough to show me the monitor. However, he clicked past the item page and went straight to the total, so it defeated the purpose of seeing it. So, a few problems I had with this place:1) The 7% charge was not told to me upfront, and there was a sign for it, but it was behind him, so I never saw it. Whatever.2) The cabin air filter was still listed on the receipt, but when I pointed it out to him, he quickly said some stuff that didnt really make sense then just settled on it being a clerical error. A guy that looked like a manager was next to him but didnt say anything. I tried to do the math myself afterwards, cuz I didnt want to be an a**hole over an $8 filter, but the receipt is messy and confusing.3) I called Midas on my way back home, cuz I noticed the mileage of my car didnt match my actual mileage at all. Plus, they listed the wrong car and tag, which kinda seem fishy to me. Chris tried to assure me it wasnt a big deal and offered me to change it and print another receipt if I came back, but I declined cuz I was already there for almost two hours. I only mentioned it because if I was going to be a long term customer, Id want my details correct if they were gonna have my address and phone number.At home, I verified that they didnt change my cabin air filter, but the assembly cover was missing. 🤔 Overall, it was a nice place, but the customer service wasnt as great as I thought it would be when I first walked into the shop. I know a possible unwanted $8 charge is no big deal, but it was just more confusing than it had to be. Pics and receipt uploaded with my name and address erased. I got a 2013 Hyundai Elantra, not a Land Rover lol

The only reason I gave this business a 1 is because there are no zeros. Trying to save some money for my daughter who just moved to the area with the military, I went here rather than the dealership. the $49.99 special ended up over $130.00. The manager tried three times to get me to balance the tires and talked me into changing the cabin filter at a cost of $40 for a part that costs $15. They used a different oil viscosity with out my permission at an additional cost of $21.00. Never, never, never will I go back to a Midas shop! Buyer beware!Update: James the store manager called me to see what could be done to remove the negative review. I appreciate that he asked what it would take, I wish he had suggested what he was willing to do. In reviewing my bill I have come to the following conclusions1). I should have asked the cost of the cabin filter. That one is on me.2.) They should have known how much and what kind of oil my vehicle required and then told me the oil change was going to cost $75.00 instead of the advertised $49.99 for a synthetic oil change.3.) While I would like a free oil change I think it is more important to leave the review posted in hopes that Midas will change their policy to be more transparent with their customers.

I was very impressed with the service. I used Groupon for the oil change and full service tire rotation. David González was very helpful and attentive. My car was ready in less than an hour. I will be back!

Came in for an oil change, first thing i noticed was how clean and presentable the shop was. As soon as i walked in was greeted like i was family, i felt good about this place right away. They had a great movie playing, free coffee machine that makes up to 15 different flavors, free wifi and water... this place is awesome! On top of providing great customer service, they gave me a fantastic price for my repairs needed on my car and got me in and out. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Very knowledgeable and super great service by James, Chris, and OZZY!

I had taken my Dodge Charger, because it didnt start. They found an electrical problem between the Starter motor and the fuse Block, they found the connection wires were pass out. They solve the problem and the car is running great. Very professional. They always charge the fair amount of money for the job, They always give the best to solve your mechanical problems. will continue going to this place. The manager Chris Roy and the front desk Man Carlos, they give the best out of them, to make you feel you are in the right place.

The service was top notch. I was treated very good. The service took shorter than I expected. I replaced the entire suspension. It was pricey, but i have lifetime warranty and very professional service so i think its worth it because my car now drives superb.

They are unprofessional and not trustworthy. They give you one price at time of service and when it’s time to pay, they add fees they never spoke to you about. I caught it late and when I called to have them explain the extra charge they said that the company is under “new management” and the person who took me in didn’t know what they were doing. They assured me it wouldn’t happen again. No, it will not because if they cannot honorably fix their employees “mistake” then there’s no need for me or anyone to go back to a dishonest place. Plenty of places out there who don’t lie and do what they can to keep customers coming back.

Took way too long. Bought a groupon. It was for a rotation and oil change. Didn’t know the balance would be $82 additional. Took way too long even though I set up an appointment. Will not be going back ever

My girlfriend and I went today because the check engine light came on her car, the front desk gentleman named Jorge was very helpful. He helped us find out what was wrong with the car for the check engine and had told us what to do if it happens again.Very informative and very friendly. Amazing customer service!

I come to this place (having a lot around my home and many other options, maybe even cheaper) just because the attention and service is so so great. They even have free coffee, hot chocolate and netflix for you to wait. I always take my books, things to study or review and time passes meanwhile they are working on the car.They have a very good staff. Great employees and salespeople. 100% recommended

On 02/28/18 I purchased 2 tires from Doral Midas including a 5 year/50,000 mile manufacturer warranty and road hazard warranty purchased directly from Doral Midas.On 10/30/2018 I got a flat due to a nail. I took my car to Doral Midas and although their Midas logo emblazoned full color display says a nail in that area is “unrepairable,” that is exactly what they did without discussion. I questioned the manager, Chris Roy, as to why they were repairing instead of replacing it as their signage clearly states a nail in that location is “unrepairable?” Chris Roy told me that he was doing so as a “favor” to me. I explained that my receipt dated 02/28/2018 states I’m covered for road hazard. Therefore, based on their own signage they should be replacing the tire. Again Chris Roy insisted the repair was being done as a “favor” to which I replied honoring their road hazard policy that I paid for in full is “NOT A FAVOR,” it is their obligation and in fact they should be replacing the tire.Upon my request Chris Roy quoted me a “prorated” cost of $265 to replace the tire. The tire initially cost $368. I knew a tire warrantied for 5 years/50,000 miles could not depreciate in value that rapidly in 8 months. Although I knew the tire should be replaced I could not in good faith purchase another tire from Doral Midas since they do not stand behind their product/road hazard service/warranty.I had been a loyal customer at Doral Midas for approximately 3 years. I purchased 3 new tires from them in the past 8 months, each with manufacturer’s and road hazard warranties for a total of $1,528.30. After watching them repair a tire that by their own standard is “unrepairable” AND being told repeatedly that it was a “favor”, I had no choice but to inform Chris Roy that I would be taking my business elsewhere.That afternoon spoke to Omar at Midas consumer relations who confirmed my stance on all of the above. Additionally, Omar said Midas guarantees all tires for 12 months/12,000 miles and since I had not passed either of the aforementioned thresholds the tire is covered fully. Omar also confirmed that the prorated cost Chris Roy quoted was definitely high but said proration was irrelevant as the tire is covered by Midas 12 months/12,000 mile warranty and should have been replaced free of charge.It took 17 days, half a dozen phone calls with Corporate and several email exchanges with the GM of Doral Midas for them to honor their warranties and provide a replacement tire free of charge. Corporate told them to do so 2 weeks earlier but they continued to make excuses via email and deny honoring their warranties. Naturally when I called to say I would be coming to pick up the tire Chris Roy insisted I could not do so without paying their shop to balance and mount it. I called BS on that immediately and asked him to call corporate to confirm I did not, I was right.When I went to pick the tire up I was told by Sheena that it would not be warrantied if I didn’t allow them to mount and balance it. To which I replied, “It’s covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, right?” And of course she admitted I was right again.So after 17 days, multiple emails with GM Terry at Doral Midas and phone calls with Corporate and I finally got what I should have day 1, a replacement tire free of charge. My parting words to Chris Roy on October 31st were that I would not give them any more money and I would no longer be a customer. While it is clear Doral Midas does not honor their word or their warranties (without Corporate forcing them to do so) anyone who knows me knows I stand behind mine.

Woke up to a large nail in my Jeep’s tire right before work. Went to several other shops in the area and all were rude and said it would be hours before the simple tire plug could be done. Happened to be driving by and pulled into here. Friendly staff immediately assisted me, inspected the tire, and began to work on it. Also they actually had a decent number of staff working vs. other shops saying they had reduced staff “cuz of COVID”. My family and I will be back here!!

Brought my car in at 9 am. Was charged $150 for a full diagnostic on the vehicle. I get a call around 3 pm (I was told the diagnostic would take one hour) and the guy starts the call off saying “I can fix your car for $254 a month on the 12 month plan”. I literally felt like he was trying to resell my car to me. He goes on to explain the full price would be $2,567 to completely fix my vehicle. When I arrive to pick it up, he explains how my timing chain set needed to be changed. I asked him if the vehicle had any other problems and he told me he had no idea, he just read the computer saying the timing was off. Then he asked me if I was paying cash or credit. $150 for a FULL DIAGNOSTIC. Again, he did not know what else was wrong with the car.Update: Took the car to another mechanic. Fixed the vehicle for $450, said he changed sensors on it. Full on scam.

I got overcharged and my brakes are not working very well it sounds as if I am driving a train. When I went back to review my brakes one of the workers that first assist me knowledge that they did over charged me.I paid 854 dollars for 4 breaks ;( and they didn’t changed the rotators. I am really disappointed with the service.

I went for tire rotation only, and i usually do my car maintenance by my self but I decide to go here because I didnt have time to do on my own. For some reason i knew that they will try to find something to charge me more, but guess what, i got my ford expedition brand new a year ago and only 20,000 miles, and they told me that i have to change the break pads right away because it will be more expensive if i do not change it. There are not honest people, they will try to screw you up. please try to be away from them..

Just make sure you ask for a written estimate even if you have a voucher. They put a more pricey oil without even asking for me permission for the extra charges. Did the balancing on the tires without quoting the price. Took two hours for the oil change and balancing. I will not be back to this location ☹️☹️☹️

Went in to check on pricing for front brakes, one of the guys told me it would be $400. I questioned him and informed him that’s a lot more than what a dealership charges me. He stated that he has the same vehicle as me and he knows the price... I decided to go online instead the brakes cost $69 I purchased them online and will get them installed at a local shop. FYI I’ve had the same car for 7 years and have never been quoted $400 for front brakes. And I usually get my car serviced at the dealership.

I came into this location looking for genuine service and that is exactly what I got. The store manager, Carlos, definitely did his ultimate part, even beyond, to help me out with my car needs and really work with me and my budget. This is the type of service people wish they could find when visiting mechanics and trying to get your car worked on. My trust is here in this store now and now I know exactly where to go every time I have a car need in the future!

Don’t put your life or your loved ones in danger, they don’t care about your safety. I have a trip planned and took my car there for a check up, they rotated and balanced the tires, right the day after while i was on the road the tire pressure and the engine light went on. I took it to another Midas and the tires were 39,37,25,22. Went back today, the manager didn’t even ask anything or apologized, he just said “we are not responsible for anything, all you need is an oil change”

I went to change the brakes on my Toyota, they changed it but I started to hear noises everytime I pressed the brakes.I went back twice to get fix with no luck, I spent around $180 .... long story short I went back to a Toyota dealer to get new brakes. ..... I can’t recommend Midas......They asked me for more information about the service, I sent it but they never called me back.Terrible service......0 stars....

Super greed store that doesnt care about customers. Bought a Groupon for an oil change. First one in the morning. Guy at the front said my car uses synthetic only and he can not do conventional for me. This guy look at my sedan and told me synthetic oil only. Synthetic oil is for full size SUV and heavy duty vehicles. Be prepared for additional services charge even you drop a new car. I do not think this store will care about any reviews from customers because I see similar reviews before, and this store continuing to doing so. Do not be a participating store if you think the 20$ conventional oil change doesnt make money.

Id bought a groupon offline for an oil change and because I work in this area I decided to come to this location. As I have been here before as well as my mom.So I buy this groupon offline for an oil change at about $20. I go on a Friday morning to get this service done. I present my coupon to the young lady at the desk and she begins taking my cars information and inputting it in the system. She proceeds to tell me that I brought the wrong groupon because I needed the one for synthetic oil. So playing along with her suggestion, I inquire what would be the difference. She proceeds to tell me that its about a $30 difference as the regular oil change is about $70 but with the groupon, Id just need to pay the difference. She then told me to refund the groupon because it would be better to just get their special.Now I normally get my oil changed right at the dealer (Nissan) but just wanted to give this groupon a try. Needless to say I returned my groupon for a refund and went to the Nissan dealership that I normally go to, literally not even 5 minutes away and got an oil change; a non synthetic oil change at that.I am not sure if its because I am a woman and she thought she could swindle me out of my money; as some men mechanics do because they feel you dont know anything. Luckily for me, my mom knows about cars and taught me everything that I needed to know once I started driving.Midas will never have to worry about me coming back. Id pay the dealership before I pay them and I am not that crazy.

I tried this place 3 times: 2 times they always tried to take me more money. 1 time I went there with a free oil change and They said they cant do it because my car used syntetic oil. I told them it was no true because my car used the regular oil( it was my 5th oil change) ....so I left and I will never come back

Here I go ! . This is the most swindling place in all of South Florida. bad service, and if you go for a promotion your car will never qualify for that time is something more expensive for example alignment. the basic that covers 90 days in warranty is never an option for you. CARLOS RIZO will never offer you this one. It is better than 3 years warranty for your pages almost 300 $ or more. Its better and more money for Carlos who I think is the front desk manager. after your car leaves the workshop. The mechanic guy says that your car has many bad parts. And it is when CARLOS assists you telling you that the cost of each car that your car needs is very expensive, but. he can get better price with MIDAS, and if you compare him with auto zone he tells you that those pieces are from china. and to finish destroying your car and your pocket, Carlos says it is $ 60 for each one hour that the mechanic charges and your work is minimum of 6 hours. When you are ready to pay suddenly, a 10% phantom tax comes out that does not exist in Miami Florida. the real is 7%! I only made the alignment of $ 89 that I accept with great pain CARLOS. of mandatory promotion. with only 90 days of warranty !!! and change the bad parts in my house. return to the 80 days within the guarantee of my alignment to do it again. CARLOS SAYS that since I did not put the feet with midas my guarantee of alignment of 90 days I lost it. ! Do not go to this place, they are thieves. very bad experience

They charged me an extra $30 on top of the $50 groupon I paid for a full synthetic oil change, other places have never made me pay extra for my oil change after the groupon. Then they tried to sell me an extra $400 of services trying to take advantage. Then they took a full hour longer than they said just to change my oil when they were not busy at all and only had a few cars in the shop. Save yourself time and money and get your oil change somewhere else.

I was very impressed with the service here. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot someone was coming to help me. They noticed my tail light was out, which I appreciated and went ahead with purchasing a new light. I used the Groupon for the full service oil change and tire rotation. The attendants were very helpful and attentive. My car was ready within a couple of hours, without even having made an appointment. I usually go to Jiffy Lube, but Midas has much better service. They give you a full report of the inspection of the car as well. I will be back!

Great service. We were attended on the spot. We were in & out in 20 mins. Very nice clean waiting area for customers with vending machine as well as a coffee machine. Big tv up on the wall to keep u entertain meanwhile.

Very disappointed, who charges 108$an hour for the labor. I went for transmission oil change with the Groupon. 69$ for that, than guy came to me and said I need to change my AC FILTERS than also said need to change break oil. After everything my total came outrageous 270$ when I asked they said 108$ worth of labor per hour + shop supply so that means 178$ for 1.5 hours of labor plus 18$ for shop supplies came out to be 270$ wow. While parts were used 55$ only.

Good Customer Service, quick and easy with appointment made on their site. I was in and out in no time. Waiting room was nice and cool.

I went there for a flat tire, he wanted to charge me $69.99 which is ridiculous. I was able to fix it at Goodyear for $29 only. Dont go to this place. Its a rip off.

I received a low tire pressure warning on my way to work and decided to get it fixed before getting to work. I drove around for half an hour looking for places and most everyone needed at least two hours before looking at my tire.I eventually passed Midas and called before pulling in. The gentleman who answered the phone was very professional and helpful. He informed me I could get in right away and they could have it done within about a half hour.I pulled in and the service was as promised. During my wait, I sat in a comfortable chair and watched some of a movie that was playing on their very nice, flat-screen TV. I also connected to their free WiFi to send some work emails.I couldnt have been more pleased. Thanks guys for making my crappy day a little better :)

Bought a Groupon for an oil change. Woke up early and drove there to get taken advantage of. Guy at the front said my car uses synthetic. I have the car for 2 years its a Hyundai Sonata, never used synthetic in the many places Ive gone to get oil changes. The guy didnt look like he really wanted to honor the Groupon because it comes with tire rotation and inspection. He refused me service and told me he couldnt do that, so I left. Be warned the guy that works here will try to add things you dont need to take your money. Loved every single Midas not one complain, until this one.

Good service but extremely expensive. Just behind the store is a shop for German cars. Midas was charging me $859 for repairing my car and the guy behind charged me only $182 for the same work.

Please do not take your care there.I took a second opinion after they were about to charge me USD 1500.00 for repairs.It turned out that they screwed me big time:- They had put cheap parts in my car, while charging a lot of money for it saying these parts were original parts.- Telling me my car needed an oil change while this was not necessary at all.- They do not listen, or explain to you in a friendly way what exactly the problem is.- Being very expensive.Will never go back to this shop. Please do not go there.There are plenty of alternative and better solutions.

Beware of the bait and switch. Purchased 2 groupons for brakes for $99 each, which was supposed to be a $250 value each, but when you get there they nickel and dime you for everything that can, shop fees, taxes and resurfacing supposedly cost $175 on top of 2 groupons. I tried refusing to machine the rotors as its a 2015 car with no vibration at all. The guy said I can refuse the back but insisted I HAD to at least do the front, making it seem like I was required to do it before leaving, and at that point all 4 wheels were off already so I just had to do it for an extra $70.Oh, and the taxes and fees for an oil change Groupon is $11, so you still pay more then a local gas station oil change in the endSTAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

I went to this place with a cupom said $49 dolares in the end they charge me $71.57, almost the double, they trick the costumes, also, the guy said to me will be $59 dolares i agree with $59 and them wen o come back the y charge me more i end up paying $71.57 this is absurd, they trick the costumers, i really dont recommend this place.

I wish there was a way to report them because I went in to get one problem fixed and they kept adding on more part and labor. Did not listen to my concerns and when I drove out of the garage the problem was fixed but then another one that had nothing to do with my previous problem came up. When I pointed it out the wanted to charge more to fix it. Never going back and avoid it at all costs.

Very rude workers took car for oil change and was told they carry regular oil so I would have to pay more for synthetic. I left will never go there again trying too rip people off. Keep away.

If there was a no star option i would certainly do it. Dont go there. I went in for an oil change my AC was working perfectly, two hours later after my car was done . When i walked out of there my AC wouldnt cool down. Went to a mechanic for a check cuz i figured it was sketchy, and somehow my entire AC frion was gone , completely gone. I called back just to advice them that they should do something about their staff, and all i got is a that is impossible , the guy that did ur oil change is trained only for oil change he is not a mechanic . So good luck if u go there. I dnt recomend it. Unfortunately

Everytime I have a problem with my car I take it here. I have been to alot of repair shops.These guys know what they are doing. I dont have to wait and the prices they charge me are the same or less than others, when I do compare. My friends and family have been going here a long time.

I would give 1 because I cannot put 0! Place is horrible, customer service is horrible. I bought a coupon and only in Midas Doral they don’t accept coupons on weekends, I went other Midas without any issues. They don’t care about customers time and ALWAYS wants to overcharge you. Never coming back!

Will not return, dont even want them going near my car.Brought in brake pads for them to replace mine with, but the front pads I had were the incorrect type. They said they had some ceramic pads that fit for twice the price I paid for mine. I said whatever, just put them on.The pads they used squeak any time the brakes are applied or let off, which I was just going to live with. But the kicker is they do not function when even a little bit wet. Almost crashed my car as the brakes skipped on two separate occasions - luckily I was only going ~25 mph at the time.I took them to my (trusted) mechanic a month later to replace with actual functional brake pads and was informed my rotors were unusable on top of that.

Made an appointment online, went the next day then they say the appointment was not on there system, super bad customer service, go to jiffy lube , this place sucks ass
