IMPORTANT: Ask this greedy mechanic for the cost of an estimate before he does it. Please learn from my mistake. I wish I had never gone to him. If I had known the estimate price first, I would have not gotten the estimate done there!Aventura Auto charged me $104 for only an estimate! I have never been helped by such a greedy mechanic before.A $35 estimate is reasonable, but $104???A friend said I should have refused to pay that since he didnt tell me the amount beforehand. She said he was taking advantage of me because Im a woman.The mechanic at another place I went to afterward gave me an estimate for free. I will go to the kind, nongreedy mechanic from now on.

Ive been servicing my current Honda as well as my previous car - 2002 BMW at this shop, since 2013. Phillipe has always been honest and friendly. He never overcharges and knows his stuff very well. And that is what I like about this shop the most, Philippe will always suggest a solution that is the best for you, and not the one that makes him most money. These guys always complete job on time too. Overall I recommend this shop to everyone I know. Have a few of my friends and relatives go there regularily.

I was robbed $ 100 by Philipp the person who attended me at this workshop, I took my car to repair an oil leak, besides overprice the service, he price up after he called me asking for approval, at the time of payment part I paid in cash and part in the debit card, but Phillip me distracted while counting the money and made me pay 100 dollars more, when I received the receipt and did the accounts at home, I discovered the error, but when I came back to talk to him about what happened he did not even want to talk and said I was not going to check the money because I had already spent it. He is a bad character, thief and slicker, I do not recommend that anyone use his services, the car was not repaired right, I had to sell it for little more than nothing.

Beyond my expectations and proving me wrong, all the parts were genuine and the prices were reasonable too. I was not expecting such because usually the mechanics make you pay the cost of genuine parts for the false ones. One can rarely find such trustworthy professionals. I am really impressed. This is a hidden gem. The mechanics are honest what more can a city girl ask for. I have a 2007 BMW out of warranty and had my brakes changed. For a college student I cant complain about the price. Will be coming back for more work and now I recommend to all my friends.

They are an authorized service center for my carmax extended warranty. Carmax had me waiting a week: Aventura Auto Specialist had the work done the very next day, for less than the deductible on my service plan. Philippe explained everything in detail so I could make an informed decision about my vehicle. Im definitely coming back for regular maintenance as well.

My daughters car got scratched right in front of my face...when I called it to the mechanics attention, he stated yelling at me, insulting me and got so out of hand, that another co worker had to refrain him and push him back so that he would not get violent with me. ( thank you to the Brazilian mechanic. Hope you are not hurt)The manager or supervisor NEVER came out to even apologize for this violent staff member.

I came to see them for a battery problem and the guy was nice and pro. Also, the price was very correct.I recommend this place.

My mechanic was out of the state so a friend of mine recommended this shop. I paid $45.00 for a basic diagnostic test to determine if my battery and alternator were in working condition. After the diagnostics I was told my battery needed to be replaced and that I needed a new alternator. The estimate for repairs came out to $500.00 including labor. Feeling a bit skeptical I took the battery to Pep Boys and turns out the battery was still under warranty so I was able to swap it out for a new one at no cost. Second, I took my car to Auto Zone where they performed a free diagnostic test (which literally took less than 60 seconds) and turns out that my Alternator was perfectly fine! The Auto Zone employee even tighten my battery terminals and gave me some helpful tips at no COST. The gentleman Phillip at the Aventura Auto Specialist shop is dishonest and gives mechanics a bad rep. He tried to up-sale me and discourage me from verifying with Pep Boys if my battery was still indeed under warranty. Do not recommend!

I had a problem with speedometer for Kia. I spent one month fixing this problem and usually it only takes one week to fix it. Real price is around $100 but I paid $500. This service sucks. I spend a lot of energy and money. Dont recommend to anyone. Stay far away!!!!

I have a 2009 Mercedes GLK 350still under extended warranty. The hallandale location couldnt find my oil leak after I drove there three times paying a deductible. I was so disappointed even light engine went off when I drove off and I still have the oil leak. I was highly recommended to aventura auto shop and will never go anywhere else. They specialize in European cars for a quarter of the dealer cost. They really know what there are doing. The place is immaculate and extremely professional. The prices are reasonable and I dont thing there is anything they cannot diagnose and fix. Phil was a pleasure to work with as he patiently explained and showed me the problem. Thank you guys soooooo much!!!!!!!!

My wifes BMW over heated and we took it to this shop. Its now 7 months, 3 trips and several thousand dollars later the problem still isnt fixed. She called again this morning as the car overheated again and the owner -- Phillippe -- became argumentative.... He is the classic untrustworthy mechanic that gives the entire field a bad name and bad reputation. Stay far away from this shop unless you want to throw your money away on nothing.... I repeat... stay far far far away from this shop...

This place have to be closed .Made the mistake to get my car to this auto shop .They replaced an engine gasket . the stupid mechanic pinched the gasket . Left with the car and I had oil bleeding .Went back , the boss blamed the mechanic , that He made mistake .I told Him , I dont accept mistakes on my car and I want my money back to go to fix it at the dealer. Didnt want to give me my money back . He said that Hes professionist and Hell fix the issue by himself.Left the car there . He used the same pinched gasket and put a bunch of silicon to stop the leaking for a while . Left.After few months had leak again . Went to dealer , paid to replace the same gasket those thieves replaced before .As those guys got my money for getting me just trouble , they dont deserve those money . At the beginning was a mistake as the mechanic was stupid . But the second time wasnt a mistake , was a decision . He decided to use the same pinched gasket and put silicon to be ok for few months , to cover their mistake .As they didnt do the job , they dont deserve those money . If you want the money without deserving , make you a thief .went back to Him and asked for my money back as He didnt do the job and I had to pay the dealer for that. He said He dont want to give me my money back and I should call Him in court .As I dont think I have to loose my time for Him , as is not my fault at all , I dont have to spend time in court , He have to beg me to get my money back .Ill call next week better business bureau , and Ill see what I can do to make the inspectors more curious about His business . The thieves shouldnt make business .

Took my Lexus for valve cover gasket replace . He asked $200 comparing with others who ask $400 , or the dealer who ask $600 . I was very happy with the price but kind of suspicious . They replaced the gasket . Drove 50 miles , went home , in the morning left with the car ; after 10 miles , felt a lot of burned oil smell . Checked under the car and was leaking oil . checked the oil level and the engine was empty . went to walmart , bought oil , filled the engine with oil . went back next day to them and asked for my money back to go to the dealer . They said I have 2 options . 1 is to leave the car to them to fix it , or I leave without any money . Left my car there and they fixed the leaking .Lexus charge $400 to check if the engine was affected by running without oil .
