DryStar did an amazing job on my home and Noah took his time and went the extra mile to thoroughly explain the process of all the work that needed to be done. He was very patient with explaining things to me over the phone and in person. He got things done in a very clean & quick matter. And made sure to keep updating me on all the process which I really appreciated. Would definitely recommend this company!

My folks had roof damage that led to water damage in the ceiling. They are old and unable to take care of things like this these days so it was such a relief dealing with this company. Noah was out here the very next day with Aiden to access the damage and was very kind and patient explaining the situation to not only me but my elderly grandparents as well. David and Jacob came by a few days later and were in and out within 2 hours. They removed the damaged area and cleaned up quickly and were a joy to have in my home. Very respectful and professional. Overall I would recommend dry star to anyone. Professional, timely, worked with my unusual schedule, and above all, their employees were all very helpful, patient, and respectful. Which, sadly, isn’t always the case when companies are dealing with older folks like my grandparents. Can’t say enough good things about this company and it’s employees. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Quick to respond to a leak and tear apart the home as well as sending duplicate invoices throughout the week to get paid. NOT responsive in the least as far as repairing my home. Also willing to drop $1,500 off the bill just for a good review...thats concerning! They attempted to convince me that my home needed to be completely re-tiled under the pretense they wouldnt be able to find a tile match. After OVER A MONTH of hearing NOTHING AT ALL, had to call them and provide them with the tile info that was readily available after a 5 minute Google search by my girlfriend! They never attempted to find it, just wanted me to redo a tile job thats less than 6 months old as it is and stick me with the bill!!! When someone finally did show up to fix the floor, the wrong materials were brought and I wound up having to pull up 1/4 backer board myself and replace it with the 1/2 inch that is throughout my house so that it would be done PROPERLY. This was also after requesting NUMEROUS times to get rid of a new squeak in the floor that came a result of them tearing the floor up. Never attempted to fix, was just told its an old house. I told him to take a break and fixed it myself in less than 10 minutes and I dont do this for a living! That 10 minutes apparently held him up too long and ran out of time for the day and left at 2:30pm...not having shown up till around 11am with an app. time of 8:30. When I called JUSTIN back was told that they wouldnt be sending that guy back out to my house due to his quality of work, but then proceeded to tell me that they have no one else to send and that I may as well look into another company and agreed with me that Im S.O.L as far as them being able to complete the job themselves!!! I have spent the last 2 days completing the floor myself as well as fixing the texture job that was done on my basement ceiling and again looks better than their work...especially for someone that DOESNT DO REMODELING FOR A LIVING!DO NOT USE DRY STAR RESTORATION IF YOU VALUE YOUR HOME!USE MY PREVIOUS EMPLOYER SUN-BRIGHT RESTORATION LIKE I SHOULD HAVE!!!

I’m very disappointed in the work that was done. There was minimal effort to actually “restore” the main issues. The ceiling has streaks. There is still a hole in the wall, all they did was take the initial wall piece and flip it upside down!! Who does that?!The cabinet they disassembled and put back together is now broken… the fact that this was all done by a SINGLE person is very clear based on the level of work. Restoration you would think would have a team of people working. But no!And now they are saying another FULL MONTH to just install tile. These people do not communicate effectively, the timeline is constantly shifting and they left my house only in slightly better condition than when we initially called for help due to a water leak.Hands down a terrible, terrible, agonizing experience, there is not a chance I would recommend this company to any person.

Dry Star did the water mitigation after a water leak in my kitchen. They then did the restoration. I was impressed with the level of respect shown to me, and also the respectful interaction between the workers: Raphael, Miguel, Elvin and Jesus. Their objective was to leave the job site clean after each work day, and also to make sure I was happy with the quality of their work through each step. They were pleasant to have around.

Due to a leak in my bathroom my Plummer identified the cause of the leak. Upon my agreement he contacted Drystar who showed up an hour and a half after first contact was made. I was contacted via phone they were on their way. What a fine tuned company this is. I was kept up to date as to the progress. Each person who came to my home was professional, polite, knowledgeable and considerate of my home. I can’t remember everyone who was involved but want to thank the following: Noah, Chad, Clint, Abby and the whole restoration team! Thanks for a job well done.

Our plumber recommended DryStar while he was repairing a leak in our hot water line in our garage. The leak had damaged the wall connecting the garage, laundry room and bedroom closet.Immediately upon their arrival Steven and his partner set up fans and treated for any possibility of mold.Steven guided us through the process of contacting our insurance company and opening a claim. We stayed updated by Abbie in the office.Martin from DryStar came to our home to discuss the scope of work and schedule the restoration. The work was performed by Raphael and Jesus. They spent two full days repairing and painting the damaged areas. Their work was flawless and we couldn’t tell where the damage had been.Chad came out to inspect the work and close the claim. We praised the entire crew for their excellent customer service, quick response time and flawless repair work. Our experience, from start to finish, was handled professionally and with as little inconvenience to our household as possible.Thank you DryStar.

Not recommended, save your time, money and hassle and either just DIY from Home Depot / Lowes or pick a different company if you actually want your stuff fixed, not just demo’ed. I later found that all of the equipment they used (meters and dryers) was all available for a small fraction of the cost and even with delivery options from HD down the street. Even repairs from a subcontractor could have been done months sooner. If I had it to do again, I would have probably only spent $2k in total out of pocket, avoid the insurance claim and charge for an additional $6k for remediation alone. Still not including any repairs or restoration, and that was just the “rip” (out damaged) - not including the “replace” to repair and put things back together.(I’m writing such a long review here to hopefully inform at least one potential customer of the facts so you’re not uninformed. I have no other motive but share my experiences with them to hopefully help someone else not step into it the same as I did)Great initial response from Dry Star for mitigation, but terrible, terrible, terrible follow up and poor communication from the repair side of their business. For the “mitigation” work they returned our call and dispatched immediately after hours (late evening) after a bad water leak from busted water heater that flooded part of our home. Very courteous and professional initial engagement. They were prompt to bring in dryers, air filters, drill holes in the walls, remove flooring and baseboards and quickly work on flood mitigation to prevent mold - which was our primary concern. Over the next few days though, more equipment was added, more time extended, and they made regular 2-3x daily equipment checks until it was dry.It must be more lucrative to tear stuff out, drill holes, keep equipment onsite for more days, add more equipment as they go along, say that they are changing out and using new masks for every person and trip at every site - even though they didn’t and half the time they guys didn’t even wear a mask, and then overcharge insurance claims and promptly charge customers the deductible. They say rates are set by insurance, but I spoke with my insurance company and they said while the per unit cost of mitigation is pre-established for many repairs, but the restoration business determines quantity, duration and specifics with no oversight. The “insurance agency gives a lot of latitude” according to them, to work ethically within those pre-approvals. It’s noteworthy that 2 times I received contact from my insurance company asking if they were submitting an estimate for repairs. Since I hadn’t heard back from DS nor received an estimate for repair either within the 30day window, my claim was closed and repair work was then considered out of claim coverage. That’s pretty frustrating to say the least. It makes sense that restoration services come with a premium, because of after-hours availability and fast time to respond when flooding and damage happens, so it’s great to have the service available. It just doesn’t seem like we should still be in the overcharge and “gold plating” for professional services. There’s no communication between their repair and restore teams and the repair work is ok with weeks of delay between “tear out” and “put it back together”. About 2 months later and multiple emails and phone calls and we still had no repairs done, no flooring replaced so I just decided I’d have to call someone else or do it myself. On repair side, they now claim they scheduled with me, but that is not true. I never received a call/email/text, they did NOT confirm any appointment. A repair technician showed up unannounced one morning, about a month after I asked if they were planning to do repair work. Still no estimate nor detail for planned repair, that would be out of pocket, and they expected that I would accommodate repair work on the spot. They work as if you should just let them do what they want, when they want, and let them bill you or your insurance whatever they decide after the fact. Not cool.

We had a leak in a shower behind the wall. The team from Drystar was outstanding! They took care of everything from setting up the insurance claim to finishing the restoration work. The first team that came out was Noah and Travis. These guys were so kind and professional. I have to say that Travis, completely surprised us because hes so young but he took care of us and was always willing to jump in and offer assistance before I had to ask. Drystar is so fortunate to have Noah and Travis as employees. They took care of the demolition. They were hard workers and made us comfortable with the process. The next process involved Martin who coordinates everything behind the scene. He is the project manager. We didnt have a lot of contact with him but that indicates he does his job and we didnt need to hound.Next up came Miguel and Edvin. These 2 guys did the restoration. They were so so kind! They went above and beyond our expectations. They showed up on time and worked a hard day. Again, Drystar is so fortunate to have these 2 on their team.I highly recommend Drystar!!

Okay buckle up buckaroos, I had drystar out to my parents house due to a water leak in the kitchen as the reference of my plumber. I wonder if the plumbers get a kickback from this company. First they are not that professional at all. This is supposed to be a Mitigation company. One that helps mitigate damage. They caused more damage to our product causing us to have to buy items our insurance company didnt cover. Now lets get to the fact that they billed for the machines to dry our the subflooring without removing the flooring above it. This did not work and forced us to have those god awful machines in the house for an even longer time. AND YES they were authorized to remove the flooring and damaged cabinets by the insurance company but choose not to. Also if you have to replace cabinets DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! they essentially have you sign over the insurance check and then provide you with similar cabinets that wont match anything you have. And they do the absolute bare minimum to restore you to as you were before They dont give any quotes on the repair. I am telling you there are TONS of these companies out there and they charge asinine prices because they can. I would not recommend DRY star they will cost you more in the end. There is a lot more to this story (almost all negative) but I dont want to write a GOT novel on a google review. To be fair, the employees that came out to my parents house were polite and courteous. Probably the only positive I have about this company....oh they respond quickly for initial call.

I paid them $3000, $1855 out of pocket, to cut out 2”x2” square in ceiling and run fans. They didn’t show to fix which would have been another $2450. I ended up hiring out the the fix for $580. This was our first purchased home and had never dealt with any of this before. I was hesitant on what the insurance would cover for the dry out. John was confident in what he would be able to do with the coverage and billed the insurance directly. John was very patient with my questions and his work was quick! They will be working with the plumbers to get the job done. Im very impressed with the team Ive stumbled upon and although I hope I dont have to use them again, they will be my go to if I do!****Edit**** It seems my review was a bit premature. Ive changed this from 5 starts to 1 star. The crew that came to do the actual work was extremely unprofessional. They did work that wasnt part of the plan even though we told them not to, put a call into the supervisor who called the lead who then called them, they completed the drywall on a portion that shouldnt have been done. They were supposed to be here by 9am each day. They were late the first day claiming they came but didnt have the correct phone #. We found this out by calling the supervisor. They came around 1, asked what they were doing and said they were going to buy supplies and would be here the next day by 9. 2nd day they had car problems and didnt come until after 11 and were gone by 2. They said they would be back at 9. Day 3 they didnt show. We got in touch with Garrett who assumed they were here and said he would come out himself with a crew and finish up on Monday. Garrett then called back and said it would have to be Tuesday. Today (Tuesday) The company has already been paid by the insurance company. 9am has come and gone. We call Garrett, leave a voicemail. Wait 30 mins. Call the main office who gets ahold of him. Garrett calls back saying he was with a new client and apologized for not being able to make it work today but he scheduled us for tomorrow as well. Nobody bothered to tell us they werent coming. Garrett has assured us he will be here tomorrow. Im not a happy camper. 😡
