I really want to share my experience to help everyone who decide to rent a car here pay attention to some important things. I rent a car for a couple days at Hertz in Meridian. I book it via Priceline. When I pick up rental car, hertz associate asked me if I want add Hertz fuel program or I want to bring car back with same fuel level. I chose the second way. When I bring it back there was even more fuel then before (~50 miles more), but bad surprise was for me few days after when I check transaction on my credit card. Hertz recalculate something and I still dont understand all this charges till this time. I got one-time charge for amount even more then I paid for all 3 days of rental! And even for fuel they charged me almost $60!! So please be careful with this particular place and especially with Hertz fuel program! It may cost you so so so much!

Mr. Dumas is a 5 star employee. I left a $500 watch in my vehicle and would have bet my life it was gone. He had it waiting for me. If for no other reason I will continue to do business at this Hertz location. Honesty is a rarity this day in age. But the cars and service are excellent as well.

This is the worse service you could ever have. The workers are rude. They lock the door and go where ever and forward calls to there personal phone so u won’t know there not there. They don’t help you to know the real terms of renting a car. I will never rent from hertz because of meridian office. I will pay extra to go to enterprise.

My husband made a reservation for a car in advance. We went to pick it up and no car. In fact, no vehicles available at all. NO heads up on it not being available either. Even though on the day he reserved it, there were 5-6 vehicles available to choose from. Our van was in the shop. We were counting on having that rental car. Thanks a lot for that Hertz!!

Let me start by saying I prepaid for a vehicle a week in advance. I got a call from the local office saying they didn’t have any rentals available and asked if I wanted to be on a waiting list???? A waiting list for something I already paid for. Ok. No answers to what I’m supposed to do about a rental. I finally got everything straight and I get to the office and they tell me it isn’t possible to use a different card for the deposit. So I am not able to rent a vehicle. I’m promised my total refund for the car in the next 3 business days. A week passes and the charges are still on my account. I call hertz and that is a terrible mess of oh let me transfer you to such and such. I’m then told it will that 5 to 7 business days for the refund. It is now 2 weeks since the rental disaster and I call again. She tells me it will be escalated in an email to a supervisor. I asked to speak to a supervisor and there isn’t one available. I still don’t have a refund and the credit card company is having to handle it as a fraudulent charge. Thanks hertz for ruining my birthday weekend and continuing to torment me by not giving me a refund. ***** update. I have called again and was treated like I was ignorant and I didn’t understand how the processing worked. Well I know that I first called 10/04/2019 and was told in 5 to 7 business I would have a refund. Then on 10/19/2019 I was told again it would be 5 to 7 business days. Then today 10/23/2019 I was told they see where I couldn’t wait for the processing and had filed a complaint with my credit card company. I told them yes after weeks of no refund I felt I needed to.***** update. I was finally refuned my money only because I filed a complaint with my card company and they was handling it with legal documents. This is 2 months into the 5 to 7 business days I was originally told I would receive my money back. STAY AWAY. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. SERVICE IS SHITTY.

I had reservations weeks prior to my pickup date. I called the day before to make sure that the vehicle was ready for me to pick it up the next day and the representative said it was. I went in the next day to get the vehicle and the guy said that the vehicle wasnt there. He went on to make excuses and say that hes from another branch. I told him that I was assured the day prior that the vehicle was there and waiting on me to pick it up. I later found out that he was the manager of that branch. I wouldnt go there any more, because of dishonesty. I know that no one is perfect, but at least own up to your mistake. I appreciate honesty over a lie any day.

There was only one guy running the place. He was very nice and helpful. I was VERY pleased with his service. HOWEVER, Hertz as a company should be ashamed. This guy told me he had been there for months as the ONLY employee. He said they should be getting him some help but it would be a while. This guy had to shut down the store to go pick people up, while customers who showed up had to wait until he came back. Hertz apparently doesnt take this location seriously, so why even have it? Not to mention they had no cars there available that were big enough for our family of four. ONLY SUVS, which I had to pay extra for.
