They stay true to their word-- great service, best prices. Even though the turn-around time for my Macs screen was much longer than initially quoted, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They knocked off a bit of the price which made it all worth it. I would absolutely go back (though I hope I dont have to!) :)

Incredible service, fast and reliable. I had them repair my iphone 5 screen (second time). My first replacement died shortly after replacement and I had to have Techworld repair it the second time. They were really fast & honest and did a much better job than the first repair. And it was cheaper too. What else I could ask. I strongly recommend them for any IT or repair services. Thank you Techworld!

This is the most unprofessional, incompetent operation I have dealt with in a long time. Apparently, I needed a new hard drive. No problem, except that they neglected to mention that I should back up the old hard drive first, and that the job of reloading the info onto the new hard drive was a complicated and time consuming job. They returned my computer fixed with nothing on it...no email, no files, no programs. Not part of the job, they said. Really?? It cost me $400 to have that work done, and had I known that first I might have purchased a new computer instead of doing the repair. Thanks for nothing.

Techworld replaced my cracked front screen in 25 mins while I waited. I am extremely happy my friends referred this place to me. It was a less costly and more importantly timely solution, as opposed to using the Apple and Sprint Warranty and Insurance. While waiting I observed Matt interacting with customers he could not help in store. He was quick to suggest alternatives and solutions. He even helped with look up and use of his phone.I will suggest this store to any friends and acquaintances that would need this repair service,

Ive been to these guys three times now and I highly recommend them. They are completely trustworthy and always resolve the problem satisfactorily. Cant always say that about those big-box store service dudes. And theyre nice and polite! Convenient to the CalTrain station as well. Reasonable fees. Give them a try!

Much better than the apple store, same amount of hipsters though. Come to this place if you need ANYTHING, and i do mean anything, related to your Mac.Good prices on repairs, upfront technicians who will tell you if its even worth it or not, and just a general good atmosphere. ill be honest; if you dont do well in a nerdy atmosphere, go to best buy and buy some mundane looking thing. this place is all about tech, apple specifically. dont come here for MS either, go to best buy... then go cry.... best buy does that to me every time

These guys are great. They have upgraded my RAM on my older MacBook Pro in less than a day as promised. They have also installed Windows via bootcamp when I wasnt able to do it myself. They even fixed my windows updating issue when I brought my computer back in. Techworld is very reasonably priced and their customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend this company for all your Mac related needs.

Just picked up my daughters iPad and Nurlan worked a miracle on the screen replacement. The metal frame was bent pretty badly around the glass, but it didnt matter. The device works great. This is the second time Ive used his services, once before for my daughters iPhone (see a pattern here?) and Ill be seeing him again for any repair needs.- John

On a Tuesday, my three year old Macbook suddenly crashed (blinking file folder with question mark screen). I took it to Apple, and they quoted me $750 for a logic board replacement. Of course, its insane to spend $750 on a three year old computer, at that point you may as well get a new one.I took it to Rossmann on a Thursday afternoon. By Friday, they have called me with a diagnosis. They say the hard drive is completely dead, as well as corrosion on the logic board, with little chance of recovering my data. They quote me at $350, over half of what Apple wanted to charge me.By Tuesday afternoon, they call me to come pick it up with a brand new hard drive and extensive internal cleaning, and to my surprise, the data is completely recovered. I take it home that night, and it does the same problem screen. I take it back the following afternoon, they say the wire that connects the hard drive has failed (a common problem with Macbooks) they fix it in fifteen minutes (!) and for free.My computer is now working like new, for $350! I hope to never have electronic problems in the future, but if I do I will certainly come here and recommend it to all my friends

Never again! I was quoted a $65 price for an iPad Air home button repair, but it ended up costing $112 after they allegedly broke the digitizer (they wouldnt show me the broken one, so I assume this is just standard procedure to get an extra $40 out of every iPad repair customer). During the initial repair, they also accidentally pulled the battery cable loose, so it wouldnt charge anymore (this was confirmed when the more Senior staff person, Ron, was yelling at the new Junior staff person to make sure he checked his work and that all cables were appropriately fastened, but after they both yelled at me for 15 minutes about how the battery was probably bad and that I just didnt notice before like Im some kind of idiot). Also learned that they initially used the wrong tape to fix the button in the first place, so the Senior person made him re-do it again. Of course, this was all after I complained multiple times, was hung up on several times, and had to spend 2 hours there in person to watch the work be done. At Techloop/iFixPlus, the policy must be that the customer is always wrong, unless you catch them in the act. Ive never been treated so poorly by any business or person in my entire life.(UPDATE): Less than 2 weeks later, its already broken again!!! I believe they didnt include a part to keep the button in place, and simply taped it to get me out of there. Once the tape weakened, the button fell back into the unit. These guys are the worst repair shop ever!If youre not looking to get scammed, get poor work done, have to babysit repair staff, and take hours out of your day to deal with issues in person, this is not the place for you. They are quite simply the worst!!!Also, if youre the person who picked up their iPhone 5s with a screen replacement while I was there, they messed up and gave you the inferior 5c screen instead. Ron said hed kill the Junior staff person if you returned in a week, but that still wasnt enough for them to just fix it before giving it to you. Instead, youll probably have to come back and babysit them while they treat you horribly like I did. Hopefully he doesnt actually kill the new hire, but who knows...

I have been their regular customer since 2013, They used to be in Downtown Redwood city and i used to take my macbooks and ipads for screen repair. they have recenly moved to our town Menlo Park, im glad they did so i dont have to drive up there. Couple days ago, my little one broke our lovely ipad mini digitizer, even it had the screen protector it was chipped and i didnt want her to hurt her fingers and i took right away to Techworld for Screen replacement. They were so busy so i couldnt pick up the same day but glad to able to pick up next day. Since i was their loyal client they offered 50 percent off on the screen proctector and cable. thanks Techworld.

If youve ever had that sinking feeling when something happens to your phone, you know how I felt today after dropping my iphone in a train station only to watch the glass shatter into about 30 pieces.I have terrible luck with phones. I usually just leave my phone in cabs or on planes, but this time I had to stare at the busted screen while trying to Yelp a place to fix it.Thinking I might just have to get a new phone, which would have been awful when the 6 is coming out in Sept, I was all excited to see the reviews for TechWorld. I was on the train about to hit Redwood station, so I just jumped out and went to find them. Totally nice little store which they just remodelled you can see the techs working on the phones. It all seemed legit. They told me $99 for the phone repair with $10 off for checking in at Yelp. Yah! That was an awesome turn of events. Told me to come back in 45mins, so off I went to hang out in Peets for a bit. It was really uncomfortable to be without my phone because I have a real problem, but I suffered through the wait and sure enough, my phone was good as new when I went back! The whole experience was quick and hassle free. The staff helped me get over the trauma of wrecking my phone for a cost it would be hard to complain about!Highly recommend and will be going back next time I do something stupid with my phone.

I just wanted to say how amazed I was with the professional services I received from Techworld Trading in a quaint town in Redwood. I was recently visiting my sister up in San Fran for the weekend. After driving for hours, I decided to pull into Redwood for a quick grab of bite to eat and to take a look around. Ive heard how beautiful this city was and thought it worth to finally check it out. In the diner (Ill leave a separate review about this yum yum mediterranean eatery =) as I was sipping my soup and looking on my phone to check out what was nearby, somebody dropped a plate somewhere behind me scaring the bejesus out of me... long story short, I dropped my phone into the soup bowl, tipping the bowl over the counter, onto my lap then finally to a smashing/crashing resting place on the floor. Never mind the embarrassment, my phone was sopping in soup with a cracked screen.Okay, so now Im in the freaking out mode#1. I have no way of contacting anyone for assistance and#2. I need my phone to mapquest my way out of here!!!. I asked around if anyone knew of any phone repair shops since I didnt know my way around nor have access to my yelp app on my phone (cry cry..).I was pointed to TechWorld where they instantly worked their magic with my phone. They were able to get the phone back up and in working order, and they replaced my screen (sigh)... They offered to sell me a heavy duty cell cover, which also has a built in screen protector. Now my phone is virtually indestructible, lol. The price was surprisingly cheap for the awesome services they provided. If youre in the area, I suggest you check this place out. They have other electronic goodies here too at costs that are a total steal. I almost walked away with a 64 Plasma, but didnt want my car broken into while driving cross state. Ill def come back when my pockets fatter to get me some goodies. Heres what my phone looked like afterwards (YAY!!! I sooo wanted to give them a big fat HUG) Since I couldnt, Im showing my appreciation through this review. XOXOXOXO
