This is my first time at Nucky’s since moving to Long Island. I got my haircut by Jerry and he made it absolutely perfect. Great attention to detail and a professional at that. Fade 10/10, Hair Trim 10/10, and Overall 10/10. Not to mention the beard fade into the haircut .

This was my first time at this Barber Shop and I was pleasantly surprised. Hellen cut my hair and because it was my first time their, I was a little apprehensive. Meanwhile, she asked me how I wanted my hair cut and she she cut my hair exactly as requested. Hellen was polite and professional. She really cut my hair such that I ended up with the exact results I wanted. I recently moved into the area and will be back in a few weeks for a trim.

Gotten two haircuts and a beard trim here, all came out really great. Convenient online appointment system too.

AVOID this place. When I complained about the ridiculous neckline I was given. They told me I asked for the wrong thing. I asked for a natural neckline. They continued to explain that I was wrong and that I was not listening to them. Does this look natural to you?

I find it that whenever I go to this barbershop, I always come out looking like a demented turtle. I always tell the barber to cut the top of my hair the slightest, smallest bit. He will cut the same spot multiple times and my hair is always a good 2 inches shorter when my haircut is done. Every time I get a haircut from this place I don’t leave my house for 4 days. It gets to the point where I get scared to go here. Quick in and out haircut for my 13 yo son. He liked his cut. Exactly what her was looking for. I like the waiting area and the decor was vintage. My husband loves it here as well.

Great people great hair cut

Ive been going for a year and everyone there is the nicest. They charge cheap prices for such great of a value. I always look fresh and good. I DEFINITELY recommend this place and if you just pass up on this place your stupid and are really trying to not look as good as you would here.

I had moved into Long Island about a year ago. I had tried my luck with multiple barber shops. Every time I tried, I hesitantly walked in thinking, well is this going to be another chop shop like the rest of them. To my disbelief I finally was informed by a client of mine to go check out Nuckys Barber Shop. I walked in and noticed a clean environment with a modern twist on a classic barber shop. Danny was my barber. He took the time to make sure that he was invested in providing me the best possible hair cut. He did not fail. The hair cut was fresh. This place rocks. Dont go anywhere else.

Had a grievance as listed below but I feel that it was handled properly. (original 2 star review corrected:(Went here a few cuts in a row and saw moderate success. First few times the staff was friendly and the haircut was basically as asked. Last time I went the guy who cut my hair started live streaming me on his social media without asking and then told me for future cuts he would come to my home.. Was definitely uncomfortable and I dont plan to return))

Great place for great people. I take both of my sons there. Always very welcoming. The place is always clean and inviting. They have a pool table in the back to keep you entertained while you wait. We usually pay $20 a cut top included. Yes, so may think its a bit pricey, but its worth it. Must go to Oscar or Jessy, as I never seen any of the other barber cuts.

I brought my 3 young sons in for a haircut and they had a blast! All the barbers were friendly and went out of their way to make sure my kids had a memorable experience. My boys had freshly popped popcorn and played pool too. I would go out of my way anytime for a special experience like this. They cant wait to bring Daddy to their favorite barber shop!

Every time I take my som there he has a great time. Everyone is very friendly and Jordan is great with kids. I wont go anywhere else.

Best haircut on the boardwalk

Worst experience of my entire life. I think I can speak for all of us when I say NEVER go to Jordan. I’ve been going to this place for quite a while now and I got my first haircut from Jordan yesterday and now I’m never going ever again. I ask for a trim. My hair already wasn’t very long. He cuts off a good 2 inches, which is about half of my hair. Also, haircuts take forever because the barbers talk to each other the whole time. Do yourself a favor and DONT GO TO NUCKYS

As someone with really thick hair that most barbers cannot cut, this Barber had no problems whatsoever. Oscar will be my new go to barber since good ones are hard to find. The shop just opened so everything is brand new and clean. Love the old style barber atmosphere and also the pool table while we wait!

What a wonderful experience. finally a clean upbeat barber shop with plenty of different amenities. had them do my kids hair also and they cant wait to go back.

Tried this new place a week ago. Not only did I get a great haircut cut but my young son was able to eat some popcorn and play some pool to keep himself busy. Will 100% be making this my regular barber. Good prices and nice staff.

I feel bad giving the two stars because the place is decent and the guys are nice enough but my son received the worst haircut of his life here, I had to go to another barber the next day to have it fixed.
