This is the BEST barber shop ever!!! I drive 20 minutes every few week to get my sons hair cut here. We’ve tried so many barbers in the last few years and this place by far is in a league of its own!! Joe is so talented and can execute the most unique designs that will leave your child looking and feeling like the coolest kid around!! Joe At Barberchops was TERRIFIC with both of my boys (age 3&6). It was My three year olds first haircut ... he made it so special ... he took photos and gave a cute personalized certificate. My six year old has significant special needs. Joe was an angel and made the whole experience excellent from start to finish. Hands of gold. I highly recommend!!!!!! For my first Barberchop experience, i had my haircut by Danielle. She was very friendly and was able to seat me right away. Danielle did an excellent job cutting my hair and I was very happy with how it looked. I would definitely recommend having her cut your hair!

Came in and saw Joe the owner....he blessed me with really really fresh cut (i only go to the best of barbers) was very surprised....customer service was on point...barbershop is super clean....cut came out perfect and he was able to get me in and out on my lunch break. he gave me the hot towel with the facial massage, the creams the sprays the works. I would recommend this barbershop to all of my friends and family

Had an amazing experience !! The new owner( since Jan) Joe is very nice!!! Peter who cute my sons hair took time to listen to what my 6 year old wanted and talked to him ( while secretly checking with me that it was ok) The shop is super clean and we where about to walk in. Been coming to my boy Joe for a few months now, guy absolutely finesses my cut each and every time. I refuse to get my hair cut by anybody else, I walked in, he told me exactly what cut to get, and he’s done all the work since, haven’t had a single complaint yet. 10/10

Update: when we initially went we really liked the place. Got two good haircuts from Joe and after that all went down hill. We went in after that and was told Joe wasn’t in, but we could wait. The wait was too long and we ended up leaving. We called another time after that and he wasn’t in again (assumed he was sick— no big deal). I called today to see if he was available for a kids cut he said he was in and could do it in 15 minutes. I said great, I will be down there in about 10 minutes. Then he asked if he could do it at 4o’clock. I said I would not be able to because I had somewhere to be and he said it’s fine come in, “I can do it in 10 minutes”. We drove all the way down there waited for 10 minutes for him to finish up with a client. When he was done he was taking to another client about to sit in the chair. I said I was the one who just called and he said well this person has been waiting. If they were not able to accommodate us, they shouldn’t have wasted my time driving all the way down there and should have told me on the phone. While they give a good haircut, we will likely not return. I will also rescind any recommendations I made to the place. That is not good business. If you were not able to accommodate us it is fine, we understand if you’re busy, but don’t say yes and then when we get there say no. Very unprofessional .We were asked to leave this review from the business: Love this place! Clean, welcoming, and friendly... We won’t use anywhere! Thankful we found this barbershop and Joe!! Took a while and a few places to find somewhere we really like...Def recommend...

Well a friend posted a pic of her friend New shop opening up. I just happen to be looking for a new barber after 5 years. So I tried it out. I first think it’s one of the nicest shops I have seen. I saw frank he is a true old school barber who takes his time. I am very particular about my cut and beard. I get a high skin fade with hard part and beard trimmed and made crispy. He did everything I look for and more without me telling him. I am beyond happy. The atmosphere is chill got offered water. The other people in shop nice guys with a good portfolio of work. So this haircut and shave was well worth it and I found a new home. Do yourself a favor give these dudes a try. And the beautiful girl at front desk who I forgot her name was so sweet. Thanks barbershops for my new home

Moved to Long Island 5 years ago from Providence RI. For the longest time i would jump from shop to shop looking for a descent cut. Just recently moved to Lindenhurst and while driving home one night I noticed the outside of the shop the they spared no expense on the decor but more importantly joe blessed me with a haircut that I’ve been searching for since my move. Would recommend “barberchops” and Joe to anyone in the Massapequa area!!

Every hair cut Ive gotten has been high quality, and I have been helped by at least five different barbers here. They are all extremely talented and the place itself is modern and welcoming. Its definitely worth the 90 minute drive it takes me to get there.

My barber I used for many years recently retired so I decided to check this place out. I couldn’t have been happier with my experience. The place was immaculate. Donnie gave me one of the best cuts I’ve had in years. The whole experience was great and the place looks so cool inside. They even offered me an espresso at the end. All of the staff were super friendly and extremely inviting. If your thinking about checking it out don’t hesitate you will not be disappointed.

This place is great, I went in for a cut with Mariano early Christmas Eve and left with a fresh skin fade. His line ups are straighter than my bullets while playing fortnite. Loved the atmosphere and the personal experience with my master barber. 10/10

The barbers here are professionals they cut amazing they take there time to make sure you are getting the perfect cut. I have been getting cut one of the barbers here name donny for 10 years. And I come all the way from queens to get a cut so good. And also the rest of the barbers here cut amazing. The barber shop is a very friendly place and looks really nice and clean. Kind of like the old western days for cowboys and gentlemens club. You will be satisfied with your cut guarantee.
