Stop by a few weeks ago because I had a crazy bad flat tire. Nassau Shores Auto took care of me right away with courtesy and professionalism. I would recommend them to anyone. The mechanics even mentioned my inspection was up… I had totally forget to get it taken care of. Anyways they did it there and I was ready to go in minutes. Can’t recommend these guys enough.

Steve and I were in LI for a wedding and next morning were we heading back to NJ and noticed we had a gas leak. Our good friend recommended to call Nick. This was my third our fourth time using Nassau Shores Auto. My check engine light had been on, as well as my tire light. I recently had my brakes serviced at Nassau Shores. i could not be happier with the way the work was done and the professionalism of the staff (esp. Jimmy - the long time manager). He explained what had failed on the brake system and gave me likely causes why it failed. Then he took time to tell me what would be replaced and repaired. Finally the cost was exactly as estimated even after I asked him to do two minor extras to other parts of the car. Overall, very positive experience.

I arrived at the repair center and was quickly greeted by the manager. I waited only a short while and my car was taken in for repairs, front and rear brakes, including rotors. The service and staff were excellent. I highly recommend doing business with them, you won’t be disappointed.

My day started off today with the low tire pressure indicator light on while I was on my way to Stony Brook Hospital for my biweekly blood transfusion. My daughter had always spoken highly of the service she received at NASSAU Shores Auto so I stopped there to see if they could help me out. Not only did they take my car right away, find the screw in the tire, remove it and patch it, but they sent me on my way without charging me. I could not have been more grateful for their kindness. As a result, I was only 15 min late for my transfusion appointment thanks to their prompt attention. I think they just gained another customer.

If its a situation where you wait for your car they do the work expeditiously minimizing your wait time. If the work will take longer they let you know and you can drop the vehicle off and notify you when the work is completed. Both Nick and Jim are good guys who can be trusted.

Brought my Suburban in for annual NYS inspection. The truck didnt pass inspection because all the brake lines were rotted out and overall condition of the brakes were poor. They replaced all the brake lines with new tubing from the master cylinder to all 4 wheels. Nice looking out for my families safety. Had complete brake service done all in 2 days. Very happy. Great service !!

I dropped off my Pilot last minute on Monday, May 6th 2019 for an oil change. The place was jammed with cars and I was taken in without hesitation. My Pilot was finished in record time and when I picked it up, I noticed that they buffed out my bumper that had a big scratch. Now that is above and beyond customer service! Love you guys!

I didn’t realize until I was driving- I figured I should just go home- luckily at my turn was Nassau Shores Auto. I turned right in but it was almost closing time. They took my car right in and got the tire I needed right away! They stayed a bit late to finish my car. I’m so glad I stopped. I will definitely go back for service or any car problems. The people were helpful and friendly and the price good. I would recommend the shop to anyone!

I live in St Petersburg Florida i was born in Glen Cove raised in Hicksville. I found a 2014 Yukon 4wd at a car dealer in Massapequa on ebay. The car salesman went out of his way to make the sale, offering me free deliver and an extended warranty. I was ready to buy the car. I said I will buy it if an auto shop does an inspection. I called Nassau Shores auto just from and internet listing and spoke to Mike. I told him I was in Florida and was very helpful and friendly telling me about a serious problem associated with the model of vehicle.. He said he would inspect but would not be there the next day and I should talk to Jim. Jim was just as friendly and helpful as Mike. He said he would contact me by end of day with inspection. He called and sent a bunch of picture of the things that were wrong with the car. He was extremely thorough. He reviewed each picture with us. The car was in need of many repairs and the dealer never serviced it. We decided not to buy the car based on their inspection. I cannot thank them enough they saved me potential serious problems. They had nothing to gain as I am out of state. They could have easily thrown me under the bus. They didnt ask for any payment and when I insisted they only charged me $37.50. The best $37.50 I ever spent. They are honest, friendly and competent and obviously really care about their customers. I wish I could find mechanics like them in my home town. They make me proud to be a New Yorker.

I have been going to Nick and Jimmy for about 7 years now and have always had a great experience. They always take my car, have the parts I need and install them without question. They are the best in the business. I have all my cars serviced there since they are respectful, courteous, understanding and willing to explain the issue with the car. I have never felt like I was being taken like I have in the past working with some other service stations. I buy all my tires from them as well. The guys are professionals in every sense. One time during an ice and snow storm last year, I heard some thing rattling underneath the car--they put the car on the lift and found the issue and resolved it all the while the poor guys were getting wet and covered in snow from the bottom of the car. They didnt complain or tell me to come back another day--they just did the work. Thank you Nick for your professionalism and great crew.
