My rating for these services are dependent on the unprofessionalism I dealt with. I moved forward with Weldons Tree Service after receiving an estimate for a tree removal and stump grinding, which I felt was a fair price for the combo. On the morning of service, their team did not bother to greet me before walking themselves into my backyard. I only noticed their arrival since I heard strangers talking in my backyard. This was the first unprofessional incident, that could have led to a terrible incident, since my dog could have easily ran out if he was in the backyard. They were unable to complete the entire service, since their stump grinding machine broke. The team assured me they would be out within a week to get that taken care of. Two weeks passed, no one reached out to me. I had to make a few attempts to call and arrange an appointment. Someone gave me a call back, and assured me they would make time to come out to remove the stump. Its been four months. Overall, for the price of just the tree removal, I was satisfied with the service, however thats not what I requested. Now I have to seek out another company to remove the stump. Absolutely unprofessional.

I exactly do not hate the place but their price was three times more then the other estimate that I received and had it taken down. Weldons tree service just to trim a tree they wanted $1,800 I had it done buysmart Tree Service the gentlemans name was Jessie and he done a very good job and cleaned up after it was done I would highly recommend smart Tree Service they give you the best thing for your buck. One tree surgeon I would never recommend is tree Masters they gave me an estimate and they never came back the gentleman kept on saying Ill be there at the end of the week Ill be there today and he never shows up the guy was an a****** very unprofessional. The best place to get your tree down or trimmed is smart Tree Service

Very good experience. They did an excellent job taking down four hemlock trees in my backyard in New Jersey. Clean, efficient, respectful. Timely and courteous. Very good price - allowed me to use a coupon! The only thing that is kind of a drag is the communication between Weldons and the prospective customer. The person who answers the phone doesnt seem to grasp the customers concerns and cannot give any helpful information with regard to the project. But alas, the company finally comes when they say they are coming and I guess you just have to prepare yourself to be there because there is no communication back and forth about any alternate plans for payments, etc. Great job, great price, terrible communication. You cant have everything, I guess!!

Rick has been taking care of trees at my house since 1997. His team has always done excellent work and unlike many contractors he calls you back and shows up when promised. On the rare occasion he gets behind Rick calls well in advance and keeps me up to date on status, My yard is left in the same condition as when his team started the work. I dont call anyone else. I know his estimate will be fair and have seen dangerous practices by other tree services people nearby have hired.

Great service. Had it all done in an afternoon at a really great price. I will use them again.

Ive used Weldon tree service for a couple of years now Rick Weldon and his crew are very efficient and safe working crew and believe me their prices are very fair. Rick Weldon comes and personally gives you a free written estimate hes straight forward no non sense and it reflects on his employees
