Prates came highly recommended and they did not disappoint! They did a great job trimming our trees. They showed up quickly and on time and cleaned up after themselves. Ive already recommended them to friends and neighbors.

Mike and his crew were great!! Im a first time home owner and was really anxious about the huge black walnut that was leaning towards my neighbors property. Mike Prate runs a great outfit. His guys are very professional and competent. They arrived on time and did an outstanding job in removing the tree. They raked and cleaned up so well that it looked as though nothing was ever wrong. I will definitely recommend them.

Blown away by the level of care, professionalism and capability from Prates. We had 3 services...storm damaged tree branches, large tree that needed full topping service, and a massive area of vine and overgrowth along fence. The owner was on site at all times, and brought a very professional large crew with him as well as many pieces of serious equipment. The job they did exceeded my expectations and I would not hesitate to use or recommend them again. Have tried other tree service companies in the past, both good and some so so… this was by far next level.

I had a good experience with Prates. There was a bit of misunderstanding on what I wanted done. When I got home from work I gave a better understanding of what I wanted done. Mike stopped his crew to make sure the job was done they way I wanted. Mike is a solid guy I would recommend him to anyone.

I had several tree companies come out for estimates . We went with prate . Nice guy crew fantastic on time . We called for estimate two days later trees down job completed . Mike took down 4 trees and his price was reasonable . He was not out to kill your pockets for sure . They are a professional company out to do a great job and make the customer happy . We were very pleased with Mike Prate and his crew . My job was fantastic and will use him for future jobs You will not be disappointed in his service or his quote .

I called for a quote then had a text conversation in which I texted pictures of the job and established prices.... one for stumps and a tree removal, and one for just for stumps (much less money for this option of course). The woman said she could send someone out THAT DAY for the tree removal and stumps. I then informed her that during our correspondence, I had already removed the last tree and that I only needed the stumps done. No response. I follow up and asked what time they would get to it. No response again, and they stopped responding completely. Days passed, and nothing from them. I guess once the job became less money, they just wrote me off. So I hire another company who came right out the same day. I then proceed to write a negative google review. Wouldnt you know.... once it posted, they call me. I advise that I no longer need them but that is not why they called. They just wanted me to take the review down! I will never call them again or recommend them to anyone.The following is In response to “Response from the owner”-The only time I’ve ever gotten a return phone call was when I finally posted a review. Then the owner shows up at my house, unannounced, almost a year after the original job, and harasses my wife and kids. Then at 9:18 pm one night, after I ignore two more phone calls from him, he sends me a text that he would “be by later”. I respond, “excuse me” and he proceeded to call again. This time I answer and he threatens me for the duration of the call. Threatening customers is not too professional if you ask me. It’s also happens to be against the law. Correspondence is the easy part of the job. That needs to be mastered before you expect people to hire you.By the way, the second google review, which is the only you will find, was only posted because I think he added LLC to his name to cleanse previous negative reviews.

Mike and his crew did a great job for a great price. Would definitely recommend them and use them if I need any trees removed in the future.
