Great store with products with great prices.

I love dollar general but this store was an absolute wreck!! Merchandise was everywhere of the shelves and mixed into places it did not belong. Walking in the air smelled really musty and dirty. This store needs a to to bottom deep clean and someone that cares enough to organize it

I approached the manager about an issue with a vagrant in front of the store. I was told that was normal, not to worry about it. The person in front of the store was running his hand down the front if his pants and applying ointment. Pretty gross for a customer to have to see and it be normal . I was disappointed in the response.

Out of what I go to get lot of times. but its all good.

Very messy from stocking the shelves, which I NEVER seen anyone doing! The stock carts were in the way of seeing anything on the shelves! Employee, Jessica, was very sweet and very quick to get ya checked out!

The Dollar General on the main highway near Food Lion in Manchester TN is the most unorganized building Ive ever been in. There are always boxes laying everywhere to trip over, items rarely get reordered, and they are always out of the things. Typically there is only one employee working at a time so the lines are always ridiculously long. The employees are kind and I feel bad that they dont get any help.

Shelfs are mostly empty and out of what your looking for. People are nice that work there but always a long line.

Never stays stocked. Bare shelves with crates not being put on the shelves. Lot of times only one clerk there.

Very kind workers the isles were clean they are still in the process of getting things in order and where they need to go but everything I needed was easy to find some things didnt have the prices on the shelf but mainly the place was clean

Me and my dear friend had blast. First time ever in my life that I spent over $350.00 + at one time in the dollar store.

They always have only one register open. There is always a very long line. And I have never seen that place stocked. Its always half empty. Good luck finding what youre looking for because they are probably going to be out.

The employees are helpful however, its very dirty, most of the shelves are not stocked, in fact theres not a single fully stock Shelf. And the restrooms are out of order for the second month in a row. By far one of the worst Dollar Generals Ive been to in terms of merchandise availability and cleanliness

Rude always act like someone is a shop lifter bc someone is homeless with a back pack ! Not everyone is a bad person bc they are homeless or have a backpack!

It wasnt that many people in line, however, the cashier felt it was necessary to hold a full blown conversation with a customer and not multi-task by ringing up items. Personally I thought that was very inconsiderate as there were people whom needed to get back to work. Other customers were getting agitated, while the other some just simply placed their items down and walked out. This type of perception looks bad. Hopefully in the near future this type of customer service can become a thing of the past and soon become a convenient experience for the future.

Convenient and friendly cashier. I felt sorry for the poor guy because he was having to work in a store where they dont get to control the air temperature. It was definitely a little too hot in the store. Thankfully, I only had to run in for a couple of things! Maybe the CEO needs to come work a day in this store!!

No restroom, its out of order.Multiple visits and workers are slow and impolite.First visit I tried to buy a cigar wrap they had in stock. The lady scanned it, and then told me she couldnt sell it to me because it was discontinued. (She did show the proof, but cmon.) Also since they overstocked the area they were located behind the counter, she could barely open the sliding plastic doors, and acted as if me needing an item from there was out of line. (Too much work I guess.) Also, why use the space on things you wont sell?Second visit, guy literally scanning items with no conversation or greeting beyond Hi, 1 item/per 30-60secs. I paid in cash and said no pennies, and he tried to pocket the .50¢ change I was owed. Lol.So if you need some stuff and have all day to wait during checkout, and dont need chew, wraps, or smokes, whatever; its a normal Dollar General. Count your change.

The store on Hillsboro rd is never stocked nor is it clean. If this establishment can afford building a new store in our town, it can afford more employees to do the work that needs to be done. Management needs to get off their butts and run these stores right.

The lady that checked me out tonight 2/11/20 @5:30 was absolutely amazing, I want to say her name was Tina, but regardless she was I was getting everything I could to disinfect my home due to my 4 children and me and husband all have the flu and pneumonia or bronchitis and she walked me through the process of downloading your app to help me save some money on cleaning supplies, she didnt rush me, or make me feel like I wasnt moving fast enough, I definitely wish there were more people in customer service like her... you have a great employee there... thank you again

This store needs Help. Most of the shelves are empty. Not that they dont have inventory they just dont have people to put it out. As of today 1216 2019 they still have Christmas inventory in boxes to put out. They are super nice in there they just need help.

I love the way I was treated by the cashier she was so friendly

Disorganized. Rude. Employees Talk on phone instead of doing their job like running a cash register. Three of the females cant even blow up balloons. Props to the young guy who works there wish I could remember his name but he is the best they have there. Always a busy body in a good sense very respectful and helpful. Always wears a smile.

I went on a Saturday mid afternoon and there was only 1 lady at the counter and she wasnt wearing a mask even tho all the signs in the store say they are required.There was a lot of elderly people shopping that day too.

I only gave it a one, so I could let it be known Im still waiting on corporate/district manager to call me back. Its been over a week. I refuse to go to the Dollar General in Hillsboro Tennessee until they get some workers that dont have their head shoved up where the sun doesnt shine!

Always my go to store. They always have just what you need no matter what that may be. Always one near your home or you will pass a store while running errands.

Someone needs to learn how to order and stock the store!!! Lines backed up and only one cashier with no help in sight. Cashiers or someones kids running all behind the register throwing up while customers waiting for assistance they cleaned puke up!! Staff very rude!!! Except for the young guy that wears glasses he is very nice. Its convenient to run in on my way home but they are always out of just about everything I need!!! Need to step it up!!!!

Like the variety. Easier to run in quickly. Good sales. They take coupons but sometimes they dont work and your purchase is messed up. They need to work out the problems with using digital coupons.

Out of handy wipes had 4 packages left baby supplies was decimated, like 3 shelves with barely any baby supplies left nice store though clean well lit and staff was polite and friendly.

This Dollar General store is never stocked. They are always half empty. I dont know if management doesnt know how to order enough or whats going on. But it is never stocked. I wouldnt recommend going there because whatever youre looking for odds are they dont have it. Its in the middle of town and always busy. And they never have more than 1 register open. There is always an extremely long line and they wont open another register.
