I visited this location on Sunday the 22nd of August at 5 pm, and the old man working couldnt be bothered to get off his chair to help me or say Hello. I walked around the kiosk 3 times and he stared at me the whole time but offered no assistance. I left and bought two watches at JCPenney. Terrible customer service. Its sad hes being paid to not help people.

Probably scammed.TL:DR - The guy behind the counter removed the battery from my watch and returned it to me saying he doesnt know whats wrong, but that I could buy a new watch from him.My watch had stopped working some time ago so I went to the Dakota kiosk, where Ive had it serviced before, and asked the guy behind the counter if he could figure out whats wrong with my watch. He said come back in 15 minutes and hed have an answer. I come back 20 minutes later and my watch hasnt been touched. Im then told to come back in 10 minutes. When I return the second time my watch still hasnt been touched. I stand and wait next to him at the counter, and 5 minutes later he hands it to me and says Im not sure why its not working, but its busted. I can send it in for $85 or you can buy a new watch here. I say no thanks and go home.A week later I stumble across a tool I can use to open up my watch and, once opened, I discover that my watchs battery is missing. No wonder it doesnt work, right? The repair guy at Dakota must have removed the battery at some point since there was clearly a battery inside when the watch was still working.Best case scenario - the guy behind the counter never thought to try putting in a new battery AND forgot to put back the original battery that had been in there. Worst case scenario - he takes out the battery, lies about why it isnt working, and tries to get me to spend money at his kiosk under false pretense. Either way the whole ordeal was a ridiculous waste of time.I went to Batteries Plus today where they replaced the watch battery in less than two minutes for a grand total of $4. Those guys I can highly recommend, unlike this kiosk.

Fast and friendly service. Brought in my watch to have the battery replaced. The girl informed me there was two batteries inside my watch. Who knew?! Within a few minutes both batteries were replaced and I was on my way. Great customer service!

I came in today looking for a watch for my mother. She sent me with her old watch and expected me to find one like it . The person at the store was so incredibly helpful and patient with me. I found a watch and my mother was so happy with it!

Just went in for new batteries for 4 of my watches, only to hear they can replace just one for $16. The back got scratched and needless to say, I am happy they did not touch the other watches. Nor will they. I stand a better chance buying a watch repair kit on eBay for that price and attempting future replacements myself.

Went there on December 27th, 2013 to have a couple links removed from a new watch. I shouldve known something was wrong because 45 minutes later the girl was still feverishly working on it, then was suddenly done when I asked how it was going. Somehow the worker managed to break the time adjustment knob while the watch band broke apart as soon as I got home. How do you do that much damage while just removing links? Its still pretty impressive 8 weeks later.Ive thought about going back and getting a refund and a 2nd attempt, but honestly it was so disheartening Ive just had the watch in its box and forgotten it since then. Maybe another company can repair it.

Dont go here. Trying to get a watch fixed and they lied telling me the day the replacement glass was going to be there. Then the manager was rude about it so now i have a watch without the glass.
