After having a really bad and frustrating experience over at the at&t store on University, I decided to see if maybe the west side store would be able to help me. Not only did they fix my problem, but they provided me with EXCELLENT customer service. Xavier was incredibly efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I will never go to any other store, in particular the one on University Ave.

I drove 2 hours and they were closed. EVERYTHING said 8. They closed at 6. There was employees outside standing around talking still as well. I am not going to be able to get my trade in for my phone now. Because of this, the hours need to be corrected.

The store manager, Drake Alman, refused to help me and literally fled the store when I showed up. His employees asked for his help as my issue (ongoing problems with a small business account) needed a more experienced person, but he refused to help. It was unbelievable. The agent did his best, but I am appalled at the lack of management at this store.

The process for dealing with an AT&T retail store is a nightmare. We went to the store twice in the last week - once with an appointment and once without. Both experiences were terrible. Its not an issue with the staff - though the manager was not helpful at all - its the process. If you can accomplish whatever you need to do on the phone or online, do it and save yourself a ton of time and frustration.

I ordered a new phone through curbside pickup so I could avoid being in store due to COVID concerns. When I arrived I was on hold for about 20 minutes until someone answered and told me I needed to come inside for pickup (despite their sign outside that said to call for curbside delivery). When I went in, the process took way longer than it needed to. They didnt retrieve my order until I’d already been inside for about 25 minutes. In the meantime, the rep asked me to upgrade my plan about 15 times despite me saying I do not use data on my plan, dont need unlimited data, and cant afford the extra $90 a month for my mom and I to not even use it. He made disrespectful comments about the financial burden on my parents, asked what they do for a living, and then suggested I pay for it myself to which I corrected him that I DO pay the bill for all the lines on the account. I was in the store for about 30 minutes with lots of other people (some not wearing a mask correctly) which was very uncomfortable for me during COVID.Overall it felt like the curbside pickup option was a ploy to get people inside and spending more money but was highly inappropriate in the current climate. Ironically, he also made several comments about how bad our cases are in WI and said places should be shutting down which made the whole situation that much more frustrating.

Wow! I can’t say enough about Rodolfo at this location! He was so patient and super informed. I have never had such a great experience at ANY provider and we had a tricky case... many people transferring from different providers and even states to be on the same plan. So pleased with their customer service! They even had a great system to deal with COVID, we felt very comfortable!

It took way more than 20 minutes like they said but when it was my turn they were so helpful and answered everything I asked.Very pleased 😀 😊

I had an excellent experience replacing my I phone AND learning about ATT’s tv services which uses an audio- prompted remote, something I have always wanted. Ryan was extremely personable, friendly, helpful - and fun! It was a totally pleasurable experience, which I had not expected! He was fantastic.

Josh Frei does a terrific job. He delivers new iPhones to my family members, helps my 87 year old mother figure out how to use her new phone and provides really prompt and efficient service. He is always available by phone. He makes my life easier and simplifies the phone buying process. He comes to business customers. I save an incredible amount of time because I don’t have to travel to the AT&T store. Well done, Josh

Second time at this location really bad costumer service

The best buying experience I have had in any store ever!!! I took my elderly Mother in to get her first smart phone and we were greeted right away by the Manager who told us it would be a few minute wait as the his team members were helping other guest. The manager even offered to get my mom a chair while we waited. It took about 5 minutes before Christine became available but it only seemed like a second because David checked on us a couple times and keep is updated. Christine was outstanding she took her time with us asked enough questions about what my mom wanted to do with her phone and was extra encouraging when my mom mentioned that she didnt think she could figure a smartphone out. I really appreciated that Christine directed most of the questions to my mom and helped her feel comfortable with her choice. The best part of the transaction was that we never felt rushed even though the store was busy. Just a wonderful experience.

Went to get a small fix to my phone, and make a few additions to my family account. My wife upgraded her phone to the iPhone 11 pro and couldnt be happier. Christine was our rep at the store she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She made this experience as pleasant as possible.

I was at the University store earlier and Harrison helped me but they didn’t have the phone I wanted he called and talked to a Manager at this store who was able to confirm they had the phone I wanted. When I came into this store I was immediately greeted by Tori and to my surprise she had the phone waiting for me up front. Tori quickly got me set up with a service and I was on my way. When I started my day today I didn’t have any expectations on getting good service on such a busy retail day but both these stores have changed my expectations. I will recommend either of these locations to anyone looking for AT&T service. If every store provided this kind of service maybe less people would shop on-line

Neither instore or remote tech services solved my problem. 611 wait times are ridiculous, the only service I received was dis-service. I eventually solved my own problem.

Had a great experience getting my phone back to AT&T from sprint. Went to get an additional two lines and they had really great promotions! Rodolfo was really great and super patient with us! Super helpful! Would definitely recommend him!

The store manager is amazing. I had insurance on an old iPad and they rejected my claim. He did a fantastic job of helping me upgrade instead and still save money. He was so knowledgeable and was able to answer his teams questions while still giving us great customer service. 10/10 I’ll see you in a few weeks to upgrade my phone 👍🏽

It was the worst experience of my life. First the Mgr told me Wednesday when I made the appointment he had the red phone I wanted. The sales person that met me made me feel like she didn’t believe me as well as the Mgr on site. I was so mad I walked out.Came back in a 1/2 hr and talked to another sales man. Ordered a red phone. Went home and received an email saying my WHITE phone was ordered. Called the store and they couldn’t fix it. Then spent an hr on the phone to various depts. and no one could help. Now I have to get the phone and return it and try again! BS!!! Terrible experience!!!

Staff always look like they enjoy their job. I always get asked if I have any questions or if there is anything they can do for me when I come in to pay my bill. JR usually helps me but everyone seems nice.

Christine was extremely helpful with helping me upgrade and choose a new phone. I was having so much trouble deciding between the iPhone 11 pro and the Samsung galaxy s10. Eventually I decided on the iPhone with her help and I am extremely happy. She made sure to find out what I needed and wanted in a phone so I didn’t end up choosing a phone just because it had more features especially ones I would never use! Christine is a true asset to your company!

The store was very busy and I never felt rushed. I was there to check on switching to AT&T and was very impressed with the service I got from Christine she went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and that I understood what my new plan would cost. Christine with the help of Dave, the Manager, helped me setup my business account and even got me some small business discounts. I will be going back to see them again to setup my business internet when my new office opens and to add more phones as I add new employees

Hours on AT&T website did not match the actual store hours, so I had to wait here for 40 minutes. Typical telecom.

I recently went in to change my service from Tmobile to AT&T. The process was so smooth and very easy. I was greeted right away when I walked in. Vik was very helpful and overall I was completely satisfied with the service I received. 5/5 would recommend 😊

I read the google reviews and decided to give it a shot anyway since I had a less than amazing experience at the east side location. I was greeted by Timothy and he was great fit for my personality. I knew what I wanted (a new iPhone) and I typically don’t like to be “sold to” but he helped me see that I’d save money on my internet service if I bundled with my phone. I immediately told him no but he was persistent without being aggressive. With the help of David, the store manager, they both made me comfortable with the switch. Both were outstanding guys and great at what they do. I highly recommend them!

I knew I was going to have a great experience at this store when I was immediately welcomed at the store by staff READY to help! No wait! I had many questions, wasn’t very knowledgeable on any of the phones, and I can be incredibly indecisive! Christine and David were extremely friendly, showed me every iPhone I asked to see, did all the math I didn’t want to do, confirmed my monthly payments (so I would not have any surprises), and helped me find the perfect fit! The whole experience was amazing! I was in and out of there within a 45 minutes! I used to be a Us Cell customer.. where waiting in line to speak to a sales person took 45 minutes! I will absolutely be making this west towne store my home store. Excited to start playing with my new iPhone XS!

Went to store with a problem that was created from a online purchase expecting to be sent away but I was pleasantly surprised how the representative greeted me with a smile and apologized for my experience so far and assured me that she would help fix my issues. I will recommend this store and staff to everyone from now on. Victoria and Morgan were great. The next time I need a AT&T product I am going back here.

Is the worse service ever, the representatives take over an hour with each person, there is only 3, that means you have people seating outside for hours to have simple solutions and they still cannot get right.

This is a great store. It looks very nice. But it has a issue. Its too big. Customers are yelling across the room at sales associates, because people see carriers as evil beings. People can be unruly. The issue with this is that people start yelling across the room, disturbing the rest of the customers in the store. This is a great store, but it has a major design flaw that needs to be fixed.

Everyone at the store is friendly and super positive! The managers are so helpful I couldn’t ask for a better store to take care of my needs! Always going back to this location to get help from Tori Dave and Morgan!

Not at all surprised by all the 1 star reviews. I came in to explore options for switching several family members to AT&T from Verizon and moving a couple AT&T customers to a different account. The employee I spoke with seemed disinterested in exploring the more cost-effective options to set up the account and I eventually gave up. A week later, I worked with the store on East Washington Avenue who presented me with multiple options and thoroughly explained the pros and cons of each. I would not recommend this store.

The people who left good reviews for the store are either delusional or have incredibly low standards. First, I get the same level of professionalism at this store as Ive encountered with street hustlers in the south Bronx. And coincidentally, they play the same music.Morgan was my sales rep -- if thats what you want to call him. He was about as clueless as a get, but hes no different from the other sales associate I worked with last night. last nights genius had to run to the manager three times in 10 minutes.AT&T in general is a nightmare, which is sad since my grandfather was an executive and long-time employee of AT&T. Im glad he doesnt have to see what the company has turned into.

Salma greeted me and answered all my questions. She was very thorough. Morgan even checked in to see how things were going & they even showed me how to stream my tv from my phone. Great service overall.

Always available for immediate help once you enter the store, the downside is that they give conflicting information, between the store and the 1-800 number. The last encounter was uncomfortable, because one of the service members was not quite well versed in customer service, and appeared to be a little snappy! If the task is simple, its fine, if the task is a bit more difficult, call the customer service number! Either way, its a headache!

Super cool staff, they make sure everything you need is taken care of. Always positive energy and really recommend this store for sure.

I pre-ordered 4 phones, porting numbers from ATT. I am expecting the phones to ship on Thursday, arriving Friday. Come Friday, no phones. ATT never bothered to ship the phones because there was a problem with the port. ATT wasnt proactive, in fact the store staff assured me that everything was in order. You had one chance to earn my business, you blew it big time. Cancelling required 3 separate phone calls.

Terrible service , i asked some of the employees to help me understand my bill, all of them pretended to be busy and told me to go to the store where i got my phone first time.Been there many times and has always been terrible.

Stopped here with my daughter to help get her on her own plan. Worked with Victoria and we THOUGHT she understood what we wanted. Then we got the first bill. That chick signed my daughter up for a much higher data plan than we told her and she repeated back to us. THEN, when my daughter took the bill in to have things adjusted, this Victoria woud not explain the bill, why the higher plan than we signed up for - just blew her off. I would avoid this place AND Victoria because she is not looking after YOUR best interest! Quite clearly! We had to drive to a different store to get an explanation AND corrections made to the account!

Youll have better luck finding a phone on the floor at the bar than trying to buy one here. Try any other store location. Fitchburg, University, Verizon, Sprint etc.

The service was extremely poor. Many charges were left off before the estimated bill came out. Salesperson responded very rudely to questions and got frustrated when asked about what pricing was. Would not recommend this location. Manager on duty was very respectful and helpful, however, I took my business elsewhere due to the poor treatment by the sales rep.

The service I recieved here was great. Amie is awesome. She sat down with me and explained a newer plan for us which was better. She helped me pick out a new phone while giving me time to figure out which one I wanted, she didnt rush me which I appreciated. She answered all of my questions extremely well and even when I called there later with a few other questions she continued to help above and beyond expectations.Thanks Amie!!

This is old news so maybe things have improved. Back in 2012 I tried to get off Charter because, well, its Charter and I thought anyone would be better. I was wrong. I tried At&t thinking I could get internet through them. Their sales staff sold me on a start up price. Their billing department didnt honor it. So a $75 bill became a $250 bill. Added bonus, they never figured out how to actually get me internet. So, yeah. I hope its better now. This was in the Tokay road area on the west side of Madison.

I dont quite understand these other reviews... I went in and was helped almost immediately. Camry answered all my questions and let me take my time choosing a phone. Then the process for signing up for a plan was easy and simple. Camry even checked to see if I could get a discount on my bill. Everything was just fine!

Tried to set up internet for an apartment and was told I could not self install but when a friend went in using my same address they were told they could self install at the same location so I felt a bit scammed. My installation date was also changed multiple times without checking if it was an ok time for me, I also got an email without any explanation saying that I could self install. Just a very unpleasant experience from this store. Decided to cancel everything and go with another service.
