I just started using their service (paid in advance for the season) and cannot really comment on the quality yet, but this is in regards to customer service. I was working from home when they applied the first application and it was supposed to only be for the front yard, but they did the back, too. I have service scheduled today and tried calling to confirm they only put the weed control in the front (I have dogs and their toys are all over the back yard), but cannot get a real person on the phone! Customer service is important to me, so I already know I wont be using them next year.

I am very frustrated. It has been 2 months, and they have not touched my backyard. The weeds are taller than 1 foot back there. They reschedule without notifying, then still do not show up. Free unlimited visits between scheduled calls, HA! I have not received one yet, and my lawn is a MESS. Spencer, my contact, is full of empty promises. I will NEVER use this company again.

Subscribed to their services all of last year, to which they only stunted the weeds. I originally cancelled my services before this year, but was offered a discounted rate to come back with a guarantee I won’t have weeds this time and with a dedicated account manager I could reach directly any time during business hours.They applied pre-emerge 2 months too late, which was completely useless because all the spring weeds were already germinated and thriving.Additionally my dedicated account manager had his phone disconnected after my first service.Decided to cancel (after a 3hr hold time) and do the work myself. Had all of the weeds burnt to a crisp after 2 sprays with a hand sprayer at the labeled rate.....what were they charging me for, for an entire year to not even kill basic weeds?Poor performance and customer service for a mediocre price. Skip Trugreen, do some research and do the work yourself for cheaper and with better results.

We didnt sign up for their services, so we were shocked when there was a technician seeding and spraying our lawn. After we told him to stop, we didnt pay for this, he confirmed the address and that the PREVIOUS OWNERS had paid for this service. Called customer service to request they cancel services as WE, THE OWNERS dont want the services, and they refused. Meanwhile, because its not our service, they cant tell us what they just sprayed on our lawn or if its safe for our pets. Had the tech just knocked before starting service, this whole thing could have been avoided. Not listening to the actual owners regarding service is absolute garbage business dealings.

Absolutely awful customer service. Did not ask or agree to service but they contend that because I had service last year it continues until canceled. Nearly impossible to get a hold of with 3 hour wait times and no call back from supervisor. Cant get a hold of them to cancel.Applied weed and feed to my yard without agreement from me a day after my new lawn service did. Im furious!!

If you have a problem, you cannot speak to management. . When I told them to postpone my service, they did it anyway. We are in the midst of a severe drought. We were not home to water after the service. That is why I wanted to postpone the service. By ignoring my request,TruGreen ruined the lawn I worked hard to keep nice. Horrible customer service. All you get are excuses, not action. We have been customers for over a decade. That means nothing to these folks. Im sure there are other companies that would take our money and provide the services we ask for .FYI. Dont tell me to email you at TruGreen. I want to speak to a live human. Your automated system is the root of the problem here.

We called to get the Mosquito Defense + TruShield. We were given a quote that was decently priced and began to make payment before the call was disconnected. We call back seconds later and they arent able to transfer us to a new person or use that quote, not a big deal- surely it will be the same price right? No. They quote us for the same service, yard size actually smaller because the new rep thought it was smaller than the first one did and it was over 200 dollars more. We say never mind, call back a third time to see if maybe we can get the same quote again. No, this new quote is cheaper. Dont get me wrong, Im certainly happy about the cheaper price but they seriously need to figure their stuff out. The inconsistency is awful. Once we check out and make payment they tell us someone will either be out at our house or at least contact us within 10 days. Thats the 7th of April. Its now the 30th and havent heard anything. Phones were a 2.5 hour hold time (according to their system) so I reach out via chat, it was about a 45-50 minute hold time but was able to finally reach someone. They advised that the Mosquito Defense + TruShield doesnt even open up until 5/10/21. That would have been nice to know.Overall:Horrible inconsistency with quotingSome very very poor customer service with some reps (a couple were good)Horrible communicationCertainly wont be going with them again.p.s watch out for auto renewals. They dont tell you upon signing up that it auto renews and you have to actually reach out to them at the time it would renew to prevent them from charging you. Just learned this when asking the chat rep today.

Were tired of seeing their fliers left in our front door jamb and littering our neighborhood. It is not my responsibility to contact them to ask that my address be removed from their records.They fail to follow the portion of Madison Municipal Code:23.02 - ADVERTISEMENTS ON PUBLIC OR PRIVATE PROPERTY PROHIBITED.No person shall place any commercial or promotional advertising material upon the exterior of any private property unless permission from the lawful owner or occupant of the premises is obtained.As a homeowner in Grandview Commons, I ask that they PLEASE stop violating the ordinance.

Ive been pre paying for a few years now. Never signed anything as it was done over the phone. Now, instead of reminding me to renew my prepay plan, it auto renews at a Pay as you go rate. Called in multiple times to get a supervisor to call me. Dont hear back. Bad customer service when previous years were fine...dont know what happened to them. Auto Renew only benefits them, not really the customer. After charging my credit card for the pay as you go services, they also over charged me by $100+. I call in again to let them know they over charged me. Now were waiting for a manager to call me back...again...

Horrible service! I prepaid over $500 for seasonal weed control and fertilization. My lawn still has weeds after six months of treatments. They didn’t overseed after aeration, so I called to complain. They said someone would call me. Never happened. Then they show up a few days later to overseed, only to take $99.22 out of my checking account! I Prepaid! Completely dishonest crooks! Save yourself a lot of headaches and DO NOT use this service. They will also lie to you about coming over the same day to treat your lawn if you find any problems. They just put it off until the next scheduled application! I’ve had better luck spending less than $100 on supplies and treating the lawn myself. Terrible!!

Wont meet their promise. And most importantly, full of traps.Last year, I was trying to fix a bald spot on my lawn. A sale representative of Trugreen approached me and suggested that their TruComplete will fix that, and they guarantee their work. So I paid one year of service and hoped for good. After one year, my real state agent told me that the spot is still there(I moved to CA). I contact the company about it since they guarantee their work. No reply. Instead, they continued their useless routine work and continued to charge me money. So probably thats how they guarantee their work--they will work on it, until you cancel their service.Stay away from this company. Its a waste of money.

I purchased a lawn treatment plan and, in order to get a discount, I made the mistake to pay in advance for it. The current visit for this month was supposed to take place in the first few days of the month and still hasnt been made. The lawn is full of weeds and to make the things worse, I called the local number today and this woman was completely unresponsive to my questions. Very poor service.

Extremely Inconsiderate! He started up the loud spraying machine at 6:00 am and ran it for 45 minutes, without regard for those sleeping. Not into hiring selfish inconsiderate people.
