Horrible customer service after second time.We have new sod/landscaping in our front yard. My husband broke his foot and I work four jobs so we hired this company to come out. Our only request was that no riding mower be used on the new sod (said to them in both their questionaire and over the phone)-First visit: included edging/mowing- neither of which were done well (company did admit this, gave a refund on the first visit and sent out a second crew to redo this because they admitted it to be embarrassing work)-Second visit: I get home from work to see a riding mower on the front yard. The sod is chopped up/ there are holes in a few places. When calling to see what can be done to remediate this and to get a full refund on the services, we were told that the request of a riding mower not being used was not on our profile (even though I can see it is), that the only way to get the property damage fixed was to report it on their website, and that there was not any person that could talk to me over the phone, see it in person or communicate directly with me to try to fix this problem. I spent my thirty minute lunch break on the phone wtih their customer service to be directed to only use their app.I will edit this review once we receive a fix to the bad service and front lawn damages.Would not suggest anyone to use.

I am a single mom and dont own a lawn mower so I hired lawn starter. They charged me double my first cut when the grass wasnt even that long. They started too early in the season when my grass wasnt even growing. Then I rescheduled a mowing because I didnt need it and not only did they come the week that I had rescheduled they cut my grass when it was soaked and it had been raining all day. You couldnt even tell someone had cut it. I think they purposely dont lower their blades because I borrowed a neighbors mower and did it myself and it looked nice and short and better than it looked when I was hiring someone to do it and it was my first time cutting grass. I dont mind paying for a service especially when it makes my life easier but I just felt like they were more about making money instead of giving good service.

Called on a Friday and got a quote for a spring clean up of flowerbeds and leaves. The lady on the phone offered lawn mowing and I passed on it. She said that was just fine. The computers didnt work and asked what time on Monday they could call to finalize everything. I said 10 am is great. I got a text on Sunday saying lawn mowing was reduced to $19, I declined again. Monday 10 am came and went, no phone call. Got another text offering $19 lawn mowing again at 9pm and said he looked foward to our phone call at 10 pm. Wow, lots of lawn business done at 10 pm a Monday? I said I wasent taking that call. Tuesday I got an apology and was told to call another number whenever I was ready to talk. I called and they had no info on me. I started to get frustrated and said Id just wait for a phone call back. I got one a few hours later. They had my info but said the services I was quoted for were not available unless I got the lawn mowing. In my experience this company is completely unorganized and unprofessional, and I told them as much. Use at your own risk.

Ive been having problems with getting consistent service for my lawn until I signed up with Lawnstarter. Now I pay one price every 2 weeks and dont have to be bothered with someone waking me up to pay because it comes out automatically. For me, thats EVERYTHING when you dont have standard work schedule. Also Travis, my lawn guy responds promptly when I have questions. Im so pleased with this service!

I recently started with the Lawnstarter lawn service and am very glad I did. Terry arrived at my house and cut my lawn edged and blew off the waste in a timely manner. They have a great service and the first cut is only $19. Best service I have ever used. I highly recommend it.

I love the fact that I can handle all of my business through an app (e.g., schedule, change service date, communicate with my provider to share feedback). My provider is timely, and asks for feedback to make sure my lawn needs are met. Thanks Louie!

So far we really like this service. Welton does a top notch job & it’s easy to pay him & schedule through Lawn Starter. It is also very flexible. If we need to change frequency, that is easy. If we need to add on a service we can do that online or ask Welton directly.
