Alyssa is the best barber I have ever has the pleasure of working with. She is fun, professional, and does amazing work, especially with beards. I get compliments from all my friends after a cut with her. Highly recommend!

Not only is Alyssa a fantastic barber that takes pride in her work she is fun to talk to. Her prices are better than other places nearby. I also appreciate how responsive she is to inquiries. She also really understands how to cut my hair and beard to allow it to grow without looking unkept. I appreciate her insights when Im getting a trim.

My husband always comes home looking good from his cuts with Alyssa. Hes been seeing her for 2-3 years and I wont let him go anywhere else now. I didnt realize how great she was until she was out on maternity leave and other people from the same high-class shop were cutting his hair. They didnt do a bad job, but it really showed how talented she is. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great haircut for a solid price. Ive been seeing Alyssa for around 3 years and she has a large and loyal clientele for good reason. Shes laid back and easy to talk to, and genuinely cares about making sure her clients look good and are happy with their cuts. One criticism though, she wont do a Dr. Phil, unicorn horn, or sideways mohawk haircut, I asked for each of these on different occasions but she just laughed at me like I was joking. Guess youll have to go somewhere else if youre going for that hip and sexy Dr. Phil look.

Alyssa is the best in town, my wife loves it when I go for a haircut because she knows it will look good. She is super friendly and easy to kick it with, great vibes. Free beer, soda, coffee, etc. Cant go wrong here.

Contrary to one review, not responsive to inquiries at all. Two messages over a weeks time prompted only a grudging call back in which she failed to even leave a message. I was at work and couldnt answer, so I called her back during my break; voicemail again. Every single time, no matter what time I call, I get declined and sent to voicemail. Forget it. Could have had another customer but I guess this review will have to do instead.Also, her site doesnt work.

Alyssa is an excellent barber! She takes her time (up to an hour) to get the haircut right and is a ton of fun to talk to.

Alyssa has been cutting my hair for 6 years across 3 different shops, and I cringe anytime I’ve had to go somewhere else. She’s transformed my head of lettuce a few different times, as my styles have changed. She always gives the utmost attention and care to make sure the cut looks right “for my head”. I look forward to my cuts because the time is catching up with a friend. I’ve gone so far to say if I ever move, I’ll fly back to Madison just for the haircut.
