I had a wonderful experience at this post office. There was a mix up with some postage I ordered on eBay and they were so kind and patient helping me order the corrected postage.

Whomever the mail carrier is at Peake Rd who delivers to The Landings need to be fired! Im tired of tracking saying my package was delivered to the parcel locker but no key is left in my mailbox to retrieve my package. Ive had them mark my packages as left at my front door.. go outside...no package. Its pointless to call Peake rd because no one ever answers. I had to go there 2 weeks ago about my package not being left in my mailbox but it was marked as such on the tracking update. This is ridiculous. From the ladys reaction this appears to be a known problem. Yet this happens every single nonth!

I have had a package worth $400 make it to Macon and for some reason it have disappeared and no one in this post office can tell me where it has disappeared to. So then I ordered the exact same thing and paid for next day delivery and guess what no package and NO ONE can help me. This is insane.

Where do I begin? There are SOOOO many issues! Of course, tried to call the last two days about the most recent problems, but they don’t answer, ever! Twice yesterday with numerous attempts, and once today already, they picked up after about 15 rings and just hung up! Most businesses would fire staff that refused to answer the phone, much less answer and hang up!Today I called the downtown post office on college street hoping they cloud help me get a message/email to Peake Road location for a call back. Mitzi answered on the very first ring! She was great, asked a lot of detailed questions and sent the email. Fingers crossed I get a call back from their delivery manager. Not holding my breath though.

Is this how so-called trained postal carriers delivering boxed packages now!? Instead of leaving the boxes on my covered/secured front porch as other considerate carriers have done for the past 8 years, this LAZY carrier decided to leave my box on the back of the mailbox post to be potentially stolen. Suppose I wouldnt have been home for a day or two? UNACCEPTABLE! Re-train your carriers to respect the communitys mail like they would want their personal mail to be handled!!!! A corporate complaint will be filed immediately!

Worst service ever. They don’t even answer the phone at all. Also never trust their express or fast delivery because they will take a whole week or two to actually deliver stuff.

Slowest possible service. Rude, unfriendly staff. I paid online for a PO box, went to the post office hoping they had the paper form I needed to fill out to complete the process. I asked the lady helping me at the desk if they have a paper copy of that particular form and she said No, you have to print it from the email they sent you. (as she was walking away!). I explained, I dont have a computer or a printer, only my phone, (as she was retrieving a sheet of paper from a desk behind her) and its closer to check here than driving all the way to a library to pay to have it printed off. and before I could get the full sentence out, she had handed me a copy of the form shed just told me they didnt have. Whatever, lady. Why didnt she just say Yes, maam, let me get that for you.?A couple of days later when I had both forms of ID they require to complete the process, I was helped by a different lady who was also impolite and rude. I gave her everything they needed to see and she said Im gonna go get the keys. She walked to the back and didnt return for several minutes. I waited for a while and when she didnt come back, I thought she must have come out the door near the PO boxes so I walked over there, found my box number, but didnt see her. I walked back to the desk and she was standing there and laughed loudly I was wondering where you went! I was thinking Um, *I* was the one waiting for *YOU*, rude a** but instead I just took the keys and said Thank you. I hate this post office but its the one 2 minutes from my apartment and they handle my mail. The carrier also CRAMMED a package too large for my apartment mailbox into it and I had to open the package/box while it was still inside the mailbox, remove the contents, then crush the box in order to remove it. I was FURIOUS!

I sent mail from California on the 4th of December with a delivery date of the 7th. Well, it arrived in Macon and never reached the address. Why? Because the geniuses then sent it to Fortson. Instead of Fortson sending it back they sent it to Atlanta Peachtree of all the darn places. I sent important papers. This is effing rediculous.

Over night rush Sunday delivery (expensive) then hold at post office after failed delivery attempt to Hotel Residence there have an open reception 24/7 ? how? So now the rush delivery is automatic delayed until after Veterans day, Nice!And of cause this Post Office opening hours does not support working peoples hours to pick up held at the post office post, even on normal workdays, which does I have to get off work for one hour earlier to be able to keep the highway speed limits to reach the office and pick up the package, no more USPS for me, too troublesome to relie on for hard working business people!

Convenient location. Staff is courteous. Often must wait a bit for service. Otherwise pretty much a standard post office. They have a new self service kiosk which is convenient once you use it a couple of times...you have to get use to how it works vs using a customer service rep. It definitely can save you time when necessary!

Apparently postal service on Sunday is a mess.If I have packages out for delivery since 8 am,and either never get delivered or will notify me that it is delivered in mailbox,check mailbox and is empty.Thanks for miracles because 4 days later I get same notification that my package that was delivered on Sunday is delivered again.And tada there it is.This is happening over and over,today 2-14-2021 there’s supposed to be package again delivered in my mailbox,surprise empty mailbox AGAIN.

If I could rate this location it would be in the negatives. Worst customer service ever!!!! Nasty attitudes from all of the associates. I was told by a customer service rep at the desk “I don’t have time for this”. If you don’t like your job find another. Don’t do business with this location.

Will list your item as “held at post office at customer request” because they’re too lazy to walk up apartment steps. your item can be “in transit” with no updates for 10 days then will be delayed over and over again for something I could’ve driven and gotten in 4 hours... do better USPS

Theyve got to get better employees. I wouldnt return to this post office if all the others shut down. Not sure if theyre trained in interaction with customers or not, but it doesnt appear so. Manners go a long way.

Everytime I go to this post office, the postal workers are so helpful and happy. I went to the post office a couple of days ago and the line was to the door due to the Christmas rush to get things mailed. The two postal workers greeted each person with a smile and the line moved very quickly.

My husband filed a change of address form in July 2016, changing his address from his parent’s address to our new address. Because both my husband and his Dad have the same first name, we were getting the parent’s mail also. It is 3 months since the mail stopped being forwarded, yet we are continuing to receive mail addressed to my husband’s parents. It appears to be due to the USPS not updating their software. The local P.O. has been no help at all. Every time we get a different answer, very frustrating!

The staff never gets started on time. The line is always long. They work as slow as they can and the customer service is terrible. I would recommend going to the riverside branch instead.

Our mail handler frequently doesnt deliver packages or they just go missing or whatever, refuses to knock on the door of our business and even let us know that there is a package. Tries to cram stuff in the mailbox that clearly doesnt fit. Three packages undelivered this month. Might be stealing them I dont know.

What a terrible experience. Manager was rude and told me that even though our carrier will not do his job and deliver packages because we have dogs, You just have to be inconvenienced and come pick up my packages. I have never had someone in a management position speak to me so rudely.

Ive moved twice and has had trouble having my mail forwarded to my new address. This has been a nightmare. Each time I asked about my mail I was told a different thing. I went by my old address and founded out the carrier was still putting mail into my old mailbox. UNACCEPTABLE

Most unhelpful post office I have ever been to. It always seems to be more money than you thought it would be and you walk out feeling like you upset THEM if you asked a question about something. Really bad experiences multiple times. Not conducive to owning a small business.
