John and his crew did a great job trimming one tree and removing another one from my backyard. I gave 4 on my review because I would like to see the stump removed after was grinded and it was not. After all, I certainly recommend them.

Tree Doctors in general, and specifically John JOHNSON (who also owns, is part of, or is in some way associated with In & Out Tree Services as both businesses are located at 180 Level Rd, Lutz, FL), are not to be trusted as JOHNSON does not do what he says he will do, and then will not respond to text messages or telephone calls. JOHNSON stated he and his crew would be at my house on Thursday, September 30, at 9:00 a.m. JOHNSON picked the date and the time. He confirmed it in a text message on September 29th at 1:04 p.m. JOHNSON did not show up, did not call, would not respond to text messages and would not respond to telephone calls and voicemails. JOHNSON is unreliable and should not be used. I expect all good ratings about this company are posted by family, friends, or are just out and out fake. It appears this company has operated under more than one name and at different locations.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I paid $800 for them to remove an oak tree. They showed up late and didnt finish. Left the trunk in my neighbors yard. Was to come back two days later to finish and never showed up and now wont respond to any of my calls or text. My fault for paying in full before it was finished. They are not to be trusted! John Johnson is a liar and a thief.

Outstanding. I will hire again. They cut down a very tall palm tree and a big branch over the house. Very easy to work with and responsive. Excellent.

John and his tree service have gone above and beyond, as usual. We use his tree service every few months for small jobs and large jobs~ such as a HUGE oak we needed a permit for. His team provided excellent customer service & always outstanding professionalism. I HIGHLY recommend Tree Doctors!

You have been warned, stay away from Tree Doctors. Full review below on how they stopped showing up and wont return my phone calls.I have been left with no choice but to leave this review. I have given Tree Doctors multiple opportunities over the past 2 months to make things right, but to no avail. I have called the office, John’s phone, sent texts to John and emails, with no response. Based on the Facebook page, they are still in the field working so one would guess he has been seeing me trying to reach him. So that this is a fair review, I can confirm that John and his team did remove my oak tree to perfection, but since he left they haven’t been back to finish the job. I am now left with a big stump in my front yard and as mentioned above, I haven’t been able to reach John or anyone at Tree Doctors since they left with the money. John asked for all of the balance due minus $300 which he would collect when he returned to complete the stump grinding and the removal of two palm trees. Now that he hasn’t returned I am left with the fact that I over paid him for the work completed. Now I will have to pay someone else to complete the job that wasn’t finished on top of not getting my money back for work not completed by Tree Doctors.If you like incomplete work or a company that says they will be there but doesn’t show, then Tree Doctors is your right for you. However, if you live by honor and integrity and your word is your word then I would recommend you find another company.

I found Tree Doctors to be professional, courteous, efficient, and prompt. They were able to quickly fell a tree which was hanging over my house and remove it without incident. They performed the haul away and cleanup as they described. I highly recommend their services

Robbed me of $800. Cut down an oak tree on Saturday and left the trunk and two other large pieces. Was supposed to come back 2 days later. Never showed up and now won’t return any of my calls. This is the worst customer service ever. Even his stump guy tried getting in touch with him for me and he won’t call him back either.

Tree Doctors....180 Nevel Rd Lutz. I had an appointment Wed morning at 10am. The time came and went, no call no show no text. I texted several times and have made several phone calls to the office, no reply whatsoever. I arranged my work schedule around this appointment, what a waste of time. Very unprofessional. I have never done a review of any business, this prompted me to actually join Yelp. So, so disappointed..Should have paid attention to the Yelp reviews..

Where to start !!!!These guys are incredible , after Months of searching for someone to come out and tend to my property , I came in contact with these guys and they set a date and time and you better believe they kept their word and came to complete the job.The price was great For the amount of trees I had on the property and their clean up was impeccable . These guys do an excellent job. They trimmed back an oak tree that had grown over my roof as well as my palms. Spoke to a few different companies and must say these guys’ customer service and professionalism was bar none. The price was VERY fair compared to how much they did. I’ll never use another tree service other than treedocotors again. 5 stars for a job that surpassed my expectations.

These guys are the real deal! They cut my trees over my house and workshop. They climbed the trees with ladders, ropes, harnesses, and other climbing gear. They lowered the limbs with ropes so that they didnt hit my roof. They did everything for an awesome price, too. I would highly recommend you use Tree Doctors for your tree services. They will treat you right!

I called to get a quote on a Sunday, and John was at my house looking at the trees in 25 minutes. He gave me a fair, honest and affordable quote on 2 trees and 1 was an old dead oak! After I got a couple of other quotes the next day I knew right then that I was going to hire him and called him back on Monday afternoon! His crew showed up a couple of days later on time as planed & expected. They were all friendly, experts at their jobs and this team worked together like a well oiled machine.
