They broke into my trailer when it was impounded and cut my locks off theyre a bunch of crooks. When it came time for auction people were able to open the doors and look inside so I sold it for a lot more money can I can afford to buy it back. Very poor business practice. Bad enough you have to pay to get something back. Then they got to rip you off not cool! Even the tenant in the yard explain the lock was on there the day before so I had to be inside job from an employee. I was shocked find my lock cut off at the morning of the auction. Its very crooked business

5 spots for parking, the line can go outside so bring a sun hat. Customer service sucks. What can you expect though, these people are taking advantage of victims of theft. No bathroom. They take credit cards. Make sure to bring ALL the paperwork.

The city is so in need of money, They are just towing vehicles & you have no choice but to pay, for fighting it in a pandemic is fruitless. As a Healthcare worker......Shame on them(city) if we made selfish decisions the law would be called & arrested. We all need our Money for higher gasoline and food..Etc

My truck was towed. When I went to pick it up my bill was $520 when I get there at 4:45pm they say there closed there sign says open till 7:00 (what I didnt see was this tiny piece of paper saying close at 5:00. And there closed completely the next day. It is elegal for an impound to hold your vehicle hostage. Which they did. I went to the police department and reported this. Police called to have my vehicle released with no evail. (Covid19) they could have released my vehicle I was there before they closed so when I was finally able to get out my bill was $649.00. and it only took a few minutes to prosses. Anybody with any compassion I believe would of helped me get my car knowing they were closed the next day. Sorry so long winded I will post the picture of there paper sign saying they close at 5 in professional

Had my motorcycle stolen and taken to this company. When i called a few days ago the person on the phone told me that all i needed to take in was proof of ownership, so i brought the due bill and insurance paperwork(which has the VIN and my name). The man at the front told me that he couldn’t give me my vehicle without the registration. Waste of my time making the trip out here just to find out i need to bring another form of proof.

Extortion during a pandemic is unconscionable. The City of LA teams up with Viertel’s to prey on residents by towing cars from an anti-gridlock zone when there is no traffic and we are not meant to be leaving our homes. Tacking on a $40 “daily storage fee” after I picked my car up an hour after it was towed? Also despicable.

I parked in DTLA one Friday afternoon and had run back to my car because the meter was going to expire. As I came up the street, I saw a citation officer writing a ticket and the tow truck was just about to pull my car on to the bed of the truck. As I came up and told the officer I am the owner of the car, he told me to take it up with the tow, after unceremoniously stuffing my ticket under the windshield wiper. The driver told me that I had to pay the entire tow, even though the car wasnt even on the truck. After unhooking my car, the driver asked Is this your first time driving in LA? It was vaguely snarky, at best.I later found out that by California law, if the tow had not driven out on the public road, it is not considered a tow and at most, the fee is half of the cost of a full tow. I was charged for a full tow so I called the local police department and asked what was the law regarding towing. The officer told me she was unaware of what tow companies do but if I recall the name of the company that towed me, she can offer me phone numbers.I called the tow company and they gruffly responded that it is a complete tow even when the car is only hooked up and has not even left the curb. The company is vulture-like at best because I had not been more than 10 minutes at the expired meter when I was already getting hooked up for the tow. It is definitely NOT a company Id trust with even a simple task for fear of them stabbing you in the back.

Im writing this review as a warning to anyone that encounters this place. Viertels Central & Northeast Division tried to STEAL my car!I spoke to Brittany on the phone who told me that my car was at their location. When I got there Rosa said they didnt have my car. I confronted Brittany in person, and she told me that there was a car of the same year, make and model of mine, but the license plate wasnt the same. She said that she couldnt help me, my car wasnt in their lot, and that I should report my car stolen.(Let me point out that, at this point, I could care less about the fine. I just want to know where my car is! I was okay with paying the fines and disputing the charges after the holidays.)Afterwards, I called both LAPD and the Department of Transportation who told me that my car was impounded at THIS Viertel garage. When I called to confront Brittany again, she told me that the LAPD and DoT were LYING. So.... I called both government agencies, told them that Viertels is accusing them of lying to me, and organized a conference call with all parties.ONLY IN THE FACE OF GOVERNMENT AGENCIES did Rosa admit that my car was at Viertels lot. After I paid the fine, I walked into the lot and noticed that my car was the only one of its kind. I realize now that Brittany lied when she told me that my plate number didnt match the car in their lot.TIP: Before going inside the office, walk to the outside of the gate where they keep the impounded cars and use your keys to set off the car alarm. If the alarm goes off, they definitely have your car.TIP: They have 3 garages. Tell them what street your car was towed from so you know which location to visit.

Still need my cars. They are reliable when it comes to removing vehicles as contracted. Just need to get some of mine back, I have belongings in some of them. Vehicle Code requires certain things and I hope I dont have to change laws but Im prepared to do so if needed. Ill upgrade to 5 star once I get my favorite Cars back along with other personal belongings, without undue damage or expenses.

Fudge this place . Thieves and inconsiderate make u go back and forth bc they don’t have ur paper work at the location where ur car is at and when u call they do t tell u exactly what is needed . If u got ur car towed and in a uber make sure u don’t catch one in vain bc u will be back and forth bc they don’t care how y get to and from their lots when u don’t have a car !If your car is in the second or 3rd lot and not in their main office lot and you go to retrieve it with your documents needed they won’t release it bc they won’t have ur file and u will have to go back to the main lot!

They towed my car with my car seats for my twins in it. Then said they close in three minutes so we couldnt pick up my car. We were stranded with two year olds near dark in downtown LA. No sympathy from the people on the phone. Going to see how there customer service is tomorrow when we pick it up. Will keep updating because that is pretty ruthless for women with children.

Over all nice staff and very clean. What i dont like is that after having your car stolen, found a week later and then towed to this place you still have to pay. Now i understand that they need to make their money but how about charging only the pick up fee when you are a victum of a crime and not the daily storage fee. I think that would be fair.
