I went to go visit Cynthia so you know the manager at homeboy Bakery shes my dearest dearest friend good place to visit good energy God is great this is why I started my road to recovery.

Its a great place to visit a lots of resources for jobs. The cafeteria has good food a give the cooks a five star.

Great spot to support. I stop by once in a while for and order randomly. Foods great and their coffee is strong which I love. Stop by and you wont regret it.

I recently learned of Homeboy Industries and their mission when a friend of mine let me borrow the book Tattoos on the Heart. So I wanted to help out in some small way. I ordered the book Barking to the Choir and a tee shirt. Both came quickly. The tee shirt is very well made and I love it! I am reading the book now and am loving it so much. I cant wait to turn the next page. I will most definitely purchase Tattos on the Heart and other merchandise in the future. Good job guys!!

Especially in this time of Covid, the security entrance monitors were alert and focused on making sure people are following the safety guidelines of Covid. DELICIOUS! We ate the white fish soup and soft tacos for lunch and it was good. You can taste that it is made fresh daily. It gets better. We ate a chocolate butter cream cupcake for dessert which was so rich and sweet. We brought home some rainbow bread which I look forward to making sandwiches for my daughters school lunch. I will visit again.

I carved out a few minutes to drop by Homeboy Industries for tattoo removal. Homeboy offers practitioner services free of charge to have gang affiliated and visible tattoos removed. Ive had about 24 sessions for the tatt on my neck. Ive got about 10 more sessions for it to totally be removed. I also had a tatt on my calf that Homeboy helped to have removed... the calf tattoo is not recognizable.Because of the times, Homeboy has stopped, YaStuvo, yasuo removal possibly until next year...

Today at Homeboy Industries they had free services for your pets. I took my Chihuahua Charlie to get her nails clip.

This is a wonderful ministry and Ill gladly eat here to support it. That being said it may be a little pricey but it is high-quality food. The breakfast and the baked goods are excellent. Have a little patience with the waiters and the waitstaff but overall its a nice experience. They also have a private parking lot but it can get full early on.

Great people there. Had a great tour. They offer a lot to help all.

Great baked goods and a worthy cause: Father Greg Boyle transforms lives by giving jobs to young people whose hard lives offered few options. The food is tasty and the service is top-notch. So far, I can vouch for the bread, the pastries, and the sandwiches. Im so happy with these that I plan to try the entire menu, one visit at a time. The food is that good!

The cafe is awesome! Love the food and the store they have such friendly people here everything is awesome i truly do recommend anyone in LA or surrounding areas to come and support this movement the staff here are very respectful and nice !

I didnt go here. However, the coffee shop, Javatinis, in Seal Beach, does serve HomeBoy baked goods. Amazing. 💯. I recommend. The cranberry walnut muffin was soft, the bread wasnt dry and crumbly, and the even though the cranberry were more just a show on the top of the muffin, the flavor didnt drop out of my favor as I reached the bottom of the paper cup. Homeboys, thank you for making bombass dankass foods.

While traveling and after helping a friend and his family, I found myself in front of the homeboys bakery in lax. Having met Father Greg, and him having passed with flying colors some heavy questions I presented, I had a good impression of this BUSINESS.All outreach Ive ever encountered, save one (the midnight mission, downtown Los Angeles) has been nothing but a cash cow for a few organizers, and a marketing machine to perpetuate the income. I am sad to report that I no longer will support or promote homeboys industries. I too, feel it is a front for unrestrained greed and as a shelter for shady people to prey on those less fortunate.I came to this conclusion because when I asked the two staff that were at the store if they helped people at the end of the day, one flatly said no, and the other open mouth laughed AT me. No indication that the food they are required to dispose of every day is donated or earmarked for anything (or anyone) else. No inquiry relative to my plight or my ability, no assessment of my need. None. Just a cold shutdown and humiliation. At the end of the day, while exhausted, broke, and wishing I was home already.Those two representatives, and Im sure the policies they were standing under, lost my patronage and participation forever. If you claim Christian values and fail to live them, while simultaneously making a fortune through the claims, youre the most vile of scum known to man.Goodbye homeboy industries. May you actually find the strength and the integrity to actually be as you claim you are.

I have been on the road 100% of the time for the last 7 years. Let me tell you, I have had many lunches at Homeboy bakery in the LAX airport. Simply delicious, excellent customer service and one of the best values in airport dining that I have ever seen. I have recommended the restaurant to all my fellow consultants traveling through LAX, and they have been more than pleased by the experience.

A truly amazing cafe/ bakery, epitomises what can be achieved by those deemed incapable of such. Great experience had by myself on a visit from Ireland. The US Government should fund one for every city nationwide. Well done and keep up the great work all.

I have been looking for a place to purchase squaw bread and Homeboy Industries come up on Google. Drove over to Chinatown from Inglewood on my lunch break to pick up the order of 4 loafs I had placed 24 hours in advance! MAN IT WAS WORTH IT!!! There version of squaw is harvest bread. It was delicious. I even bought a Manoys sandwich with a salad and it was beyond tasty. I highly recommend this place not only for the great breads and lunches, also HOMEBOY is the perfect type of organization that is helping folks get a second chance. Now thats something we can all support and stand behind!!!👍👍👏👏👏

LEFT THE KEYS in my ignition while I was changing my clothes in the back seat. Well, my back seat windows are tinted, and some homeboy employee. Stocky Mexican guy with a black collared shirt decided to look around, act like he was on his phone. First tried opening the passenger door, then went around to the driver door. Luckily I had both locked. To his surprise, knocked on the back window... This jackass goes, oh okay. He was going to steal my car, my guess is that this is some sort of front for a criminal organization.
