This is a first class brokerage firm that will give you all the guidance and resources you need to be successful in any of your real estate transactions. Ashby & Graff provides top notch broker support that is of the highest caliber and second to none.The company is extremely well organized and provides stellar communication when you need it the most. Either the managing broker or a team member is always there to give you an almost immediate response to the most complicated or basic questions.It is rare to find a real estate professional that is very knowledgeable, but it is even more rare to find one that is just as patient, ethical, personable, and an overall pleasure to deal with as John is. I was very fortunate to find this company and would definitely recommend working with John Graff if given the opportunity.

I joined a couple of weeks before the Pandemic. I am impressed by how responsive and caring John Graff and his team are. They have sent out clear communication, offered training to help us agents get through the pandemic safely. They have been very responsive to my questions. I dont feel as though I have to buy a lot of agency classes, seminars, or go to reunions that are not helping me help my clients. Their training is cogent to the real estate business. The model is better for independent contractors and now that everyone is working from home it is nice not to have to pay monthly huge desk fees. I am happy that I joined Ashby & Graff.

DO NOT JOIN THIS BROKER! After emailing with John this seemed like a great opportunity for me as a new and fresh way to run my business. As a experienced agent of 20 years the 100% commission appealed to me. Once I joined the support and communication was horrible with John and the staff. ( I am not sure if John is even a real person ) I was promised free run of my business and no catches. Right before one of my deals closed John would not release my check unless I paid for and completed a company agent compliance and training course that they snuck in at the last moment??My license is valid. So I asked what was this item that I needed to complete before I could get my check? Well John only said it was something they told me about previously ( which they never did ) and only had to be done annually. Again i asked why this was required when my license is valid? Next thing I know John has someone else send me a email to release my license. No phone call and no reason why! I had just spent over $1,000 on marketing and new signs when joining the company a month before. I could not believe how unprofessional this was. John knew I was going through a personal issue at the the time and he could care less. He never even asked what was going on and if I was ok. I left him several messages and emails but he never had the courtesy or decency to call me and speak with me. After having my license at only two brokers in 20 years with no issues this company was as unprofessional as I have ever seen. With many 100% brokers to choose from I would recommend to any agent considering this Broker to keep looking.

I am newly licensed and started to research brokerages that I felt would be a good for me personally. I came across an article about John Graff, his background and everything that Ashby & Graff stands for. I was immediately drawn to this company and decided to submit my application even though I was thinking about joining a local brokerage in the Bay Area. The first few days I was a bit overwhelmed with the whole process and had a few concerns which I decided to bring up in an email that I sent to John. Not exactly how I pictured sending my first email introducing myself as hi, hello, I am nervous as hell, please send help. Once I sent the email, he responded literally right away. He was very kind, genuine and helpful. Really calmed my nerves and made me more confident and excited to start my new career. Of course commissions are important but it is even more important to work for a company that stands behind their real estate agents and supports their growth.Also, I would like to thank Agent S who is patient and always available via chat/email to answer all of the questions one may have no matter how dumb or obvious they might be. I highly recommend Ashby&Graff.

This is a well run and efficient office that I would recommend to any veteran realtor who is in the trenches making a lot of money. the broker is a good person and is very knowledgeable in real estate. Ashby and graff is a place where you could hang your license for years and focus on production.

I cannot attest to the quality of service that other Ashby and Graffe realtors provide to their customers, but I can attest to the unethical doings of their most recent associate and Bay Area Transplant Richard Charles Judson. With a person that is being investigated for elder abuse, he ripped off an elderly man for nearly $24,000 for non- existent services using the guise of Oak Tree Capital, a company that has been suspended by the State of California for five years. Numerous correspondence requesting proof of service rendered and copies of contracts from him have gone unanswered and led to the discovery of State sanctions and disreputable alliances. Mr. Judsons actions occurred months prior to his relocation employment with Ashby and Graffe and Mr Judson is the only one that can rectify and respond to this matter.Mr. Graffe thank you for your willingness to investigate and hear my account. Our family has been through hell because of Richard Judson #01297361 and his unethical accomplice Felicia McDonald DRE#01292994 who is under investigation by State and Federal agencies and has superior court sanctions and case against her for elder abuse.. Forgive me for the delay, but I have had a multitude of issues concerning the repercussions of this pair. I have repeatedly contacted Richard via e-mail, phone, and mail about the drafts referencing our deceased fathers property and he has not responded. I am mailing copies of the drafts and other substantiating documentation to you today. Once you receive the docs, we can set up a phone appointment to go over them. I would like to speak with you on Friday 12/18. Thank you

I used John last year to sell a house that I inherited. I picked him specifically based on quite a bit of researching. There was no one who even came close to his stats and reviews. It was a no-brainer.He ended up exceeding my expectations! He actually got me an extra $80,000 on the house and he sold it in a very short time! The deal he made for me was excellent. The process of going through escrow was made pain-free by him and his escrow staff. He is very easy to talk to, no intimidation tactics and he actually listens to his clients thoughts and ideas. He was available to me almost all the time for questions and concerns. He checked in with me frequently via phone and email. There was never a moment where I was wondering, whats going on with my house? He was always letting me know.I cant recommend John enough. You really cant go wrong by choosing him as your realtor.

I started with Ashby & Graff about 8 months ago and the experience has been excellent.I have had access to a broker for live or email conversations with a response time of 30 minutes on average and often times faster.The TC program really helped me through my first few transactions. The TCs they use are detailed and exceptional with respect to guiding you through unique aspects of a transaction and new/different forms that may be needed.Their internet and deal tracking software provides great resources and a task list that ensures no critical steps are missed.It’s been a great experience

The broker John Graff is completely unreliable and has zero sense of urgency. He is completely unprofessional. Not sure how he is receiving higher ratings, but don’t waste your time with this brokerage. Find a reputable one and do your research. Specifically Amit and John failed to respond to several emails and voicemails. If you’re a realtor seeking a brokerage to hang your license at, you want a broker that is accessible and John is not. He will ignore you and pretend he can’t see your emails. Such a waste of time and energy for nothing lol!

If you are lucky, no one teaches you the true process of buying a home. Most of our education on home purchases, I would presume, come from HGTV; where a 2-6 month journey (from beginning to end) is wonderfully wrapped up in a 30-minute segment. It should be that easy, right?! One can only dream. Buying a home is truly complex and comes with so many moving parts and is highly dependent on your personal and financial situation. That is why having a Realtor that is dependable, trustworthy, competent, and very knowledgable in their field is very important to have on your corner. That Realtor that encompass all of the above and more is John Graff.PRO:- He has mad follow-up/communication skills. He is great at responding to email (even very late at night) and he is always available via phone, when its just easier to hash things out live.- Hes not a let me Google that for you, type of agent. John knows his stuff. Being new home buyers, there were plenty of times where we tested his knowledge and he always had a very logical and direct answer to everything, which made us very relieved.- Hes very flexible and provides bespoke service. As a client you totally feel you are being taken care of and the service is seamless even when there might be a zillion things happening on the back-end to make it happen. He even has a Concierge service!- Hes a negotiator. With his help, we were able to get the house of our dreams for less than asking AND received credits as well! In this seller-market with limited inventory, John, is your guy.- Hes cool as a cucumber under pressure. Buying a home comes with a hundred ways for points of failure. With each single hurdle, John was very patient and calm in either fixing the problem, explaining the situation, or finding solutions. Which truly sets a right tone and no one is running around with their heads cut off.- Hes great with new home buyers. Being new to the home buying process, one might have unrealistic expectations on the home of their dreams or the process it self. However, John was never demeaning, condescending, sarcastic, or let me eye-roll at your questions or requests. John was very patient at looking at numerous houses with us and helping put several offers. He stuck it out until we finally found the right home.CON:None. There are things in the home buying process that is beyond the scope or control of the Realtor, e.g., low inventory, mortgage lending; so having someone that understands the rules of the game and has been on the rodeo several times is important so that they can help you navigate to your end goal: your dream house.TAKE AWAY:If you are a serious buyer and looking for a home, you want John on your corner.
