It saddens me to have a negative experience. Reading the bad reviews and her responding to bad reviews confirmed my doubts. It’s one think to take accountability it’s another to have an excuses or a comeback to every negative response.People come to you to get something accomplished. If lasers ultimately helps remove hair permanently over time and for some reason it doesn’t... then I expect a professional to at least explain it to me scientifically why. I don’t want to hear you need more treatments.It almost feels like I’m pooping water into a tub with a hole at the bottom. Never gets filled up and done.I would not recommend this place if you expect professional proof or explanations because your won’t get it here.We all have problems and concerns and we know it is handled differently. I don’t want to go to a doctor and say here let’s try this and we see what happens. I rather choose a professional and say let’s do some test to find out what’s the problem so I can recommend what will fix it then just trial and error.I hope my review help people seeking help and I hope this helps the owner. Alison is absolutely amazing! I did laser and had full facial and neck hair. I would wax every week and still feel uncomfortable in my own skin because it was never clear. Thats when I found Alison! She not only got rid of my dark facial hair but she also gave me back my confidence. I would definitely recommend her for anyone looking to get rid of his/her hair permanently.

I was skeptic about electrolysis because I didn’t know much about it. But I knew that I didn’t want to do laser for my unwanted hair because I’d heard that it could cause discoloration on darker skin. So I thought I would give it a shot and I found Alison. I’ve been going for over a year and my experience has been great! She’s so kind and makes it super comfortable. I don’t know how it would be at another place but Alison works super quick which is great because it’s hard to deal with the pain for long lol. I’m still going because I still have hair but I definitely see the difference! I have a substantially less amount of hair and I couldn’t be happier. Obviously wish it was all gone but slowly but surely! Anyway, I definitely recommend coming to Alison.

Extremely unprofessional environment and overall poor experience. Overpriced and rushed.First her office is not entirely clean. Her ring light is usually filled with other peoples hair and it would be gross to have to look at it while its close to your face.Second, extremely poor time management. You always always wait 15-25 minutes on top of your scheduled appointment - there is no waiting room either. I voiced my frustration once, and instead of just apologizing and moving on (which is all I wanted), she told me Im always late?? Wouldnt back down even when I told her I have not been. Didnt understand why she wouldnt diffuse the situation. The ONE time I was late, I still had to wait 5-10 mins for the other client to finish. I guess its not a problem if you have nothing else to do with your day.Third, I always leave with missed hair. Eventually I had to point out hairs to her. She doesnt give you the opportunity to give you a mirror and see if shes missed anything. I have barely seen any results after 4 sessions and they were not very dense areas to begin with. Shes always playing catch-up with time and you have to leave in a hurry since the other client is outside.Lastly, scheduling an appt with her is very difficult. Shell text you at odd hours but not reply to you at all. I finally gave up and went to another person. Regret giving her so much of my money.

Alison was very polite and gave me a lot of hope in the beginning. I was told that within six months I would see a reduction in the amount of hair that I had. I went for four areas and didn’t see any difference in any of the areas. My first experience was positive because I believe the setting on the machine may have been higher than in the following sessions that I went in for. After six months of not seeing results, I asked for the machine to be put on a higher setting and was told it would be too intense for my skin. I saw the lack of effectiveness in all four areas and decided to focus on just one area of my body, my chin (which only takes 15 minutes to do since I only had about 12 hairs there), and so Alison decided to raise the price from $60 to $80 for that area. I quit going to her and found someone else that was able to permanently remove my hair within two sessions at more than half the price. I truly regret wasting my money here. If you’re serious about removing your hair find someone else.

Allison is amazing! Very professional! Super fast! I did my full chest and stomach and I couldn’t believe how fast the results were, I tried so many methods and this one was the only one that works so fastI got the best results.

I don’t understand all the good reviews here. Take one step into her work space and you will see. It’s filthy and depressing. I’m not sure I even saw her get out a clean needle because she rushed me into her chair. She was not friendly at all and I had to force a consultation before she got started and rushed me back out the door. I left feeling gross and would not return.

I am African-American and was skeptical about the results I could achieve from electrolysis because of my dark skin and curly hair. I recently brought my 17 year old daughter in for Alisons electrolysis treatment. She was fed up with her curly sideburns and wanted them gone for good. I wasnt sure teens could get electrolysis, but I read up on it and Alison assured me that it was safe. She was gentle and put my daughter at ease. She also had tips for how to handle the discomfort. After 3 months, the sideburns are under control, and my 17 year old is starting to feel more confident. I have gotten laser hair treatments all over my body for most of my life. Although most areas have experienced a certain level of reduction, I kept having to go back for treatments. After years of not going, all the hair seems to have grown back. Alison changed my life. I was becoming embarrassed by unsightly chin and neck hair that needed constant plucking and tweezing. When I found Alison online, I scheduled an initial consultation right away. I have oily and acne-prone skin, so I was worried about additional redness. This never became an issue after any of our electrolysis sessions. Alison always put me at ease and helped me get rid of all that chin hair. I no longer need to reach for the tweezers!

Absolute worst, most rushed service I’ve ever received. My very first appointment(which I was early for), Allison tried to rush me to get there, reschedule and/or have me wait at least 30 minutes because her other two clients were running late. Once there, the entire process was a rush. Not one hair was pulled from the root, I could clearly feel as well as hear the hairs breaking off mid hair instead of properly sliding out from the root. When I asked her were the hairs breaking off or coming out at the root, she further LIED to me and said the weren’t breaking off and were actually coming out at the root. My neck was extremely inflamed and bumpy after the process. The very next day the hairs were resurfacing from under the skin like I had shaved. Realistically the hairs aren’t supposed to grow back for 4-6 weeks with the exception of hairs growing in a different cycle. Of course, Allison denied any responsibility. Further refusing to refund me my $100 for a 15 minute rush job. Not to mention her unprofessional setting with absolutely no waiting area. Thankfully I’ve found an actual experienced electrologist by the name of Tina over at Zap electrology. Her work speaks for itself. She takes her time, listens to your needs, is very efficient and effective. She gets every single hair from the root and the slide out so effortlessly, you can’t even feel them coming out. Very informative, very knowledgeable with every skin type & ethnicity. Book an appointment with Tina over at Zap electrolysis and tell her Tiffany sent you. Her prices are very affordable. You will NOT be disappointed.

I found Alison about 5 years ago. She is amazingly talented and knows her craft. She has helped me get rid of the unwanted hair on my face, which during pregnancy was really bad.
