Was referred to Andy’s amp services by Reuben Cox at Old Style Guitar Shop. I needed the plastic housing for the power cord on the back of my amp replaced. Andy gave me a quote on the price that turned out to be totally accurate and an estimate on the completion date that wasn’t – he got it done early! Only took a few days and it was a seamless fix. Andy is a great guy, very chill and patient, and his business observes all COVID protections, so it’s a no-risk transaction. Highly recommend!

This amplifier repair shop is fantastic! I was having trouble finding someone to repair/replace the reverb unit in my SWR California Blonde acoustic amp. These guys, Andy, repaired it just like they said they would.Work was done on time at the right price, and the amp works perfectly. I highly recommend this shop. They also have some used equipment, guitars and amps, for sale. Great place and service.

I have a 60s amp b18n, pretty much all original, which hadnt been serviced in 30 years, maybe more. Andy tracked down all of the issues in a week, found solutions (tubes, microphonic, hum) and got it back to me in no time. Issues resolved. Prices were very reasonable. Andy at Revamp did a great job working on my Fender Champion 110 Practice amp, at an affordable price. The input jack was tightened up, the chassis was cleared of dust, and Andy said he resoldered the circuit board, and a nice new Eminence speaker was installed upon my request & gave the amp new life! Im glad I took it there!

There is an amp God and his name is Andy! :). Andy diagnosed and patiently explained the repairs needed on my amp and quickly turned it around knowing I needed it back soon. I will definitely use them again if I ever need repairs in the future!

Andy has been servicing my Marshall heads for me now for 3-4 yrs. Good work, fairly-priced (affordable) & easy to work with - doesnt push work that isnt needed. Just all-around good guys who do good work. Its a bit of a drive for me, but worth it. Edit: Note that they are located on Santa Monica blvd., NOT on Melrose. Search for current addr.

Andy is great... brought my old Silvertone amp back to life. Fast, reasonably priced and did a great job. Will definitely be bringing my other amps to him in the future.

This is the only reliable amp repair place in town, and I’ve tried a few. Andy knows what he’s doing and he really cares. I’m not so sure about the other guy or guys in there, but if Andy’s the one taking care of you then you’re good to go.

3/4/17 As a longtime customer This place has never fail me Mike and the guys are really good at what they do fast service took a iPad for screen repair and a desktop for a new case and upgrade Benny the computer tech was so helpful to change the old case to a brand new one with upgraded fans and recover my hard drive data as well thank you guys. Awful service, rude, not helpful whatsoever. Plugged in my amp for 1 second and said he didnt hear anything wrong with it. They will not be gaining my business.

Hey Dudes why pay those inflated repair prices for instruments check out Revamp I did and I wont use anyone else to keep my music gear working in order.
