Lisa is the best electrologist Ive ever seen. And Im transitioning to female, so I have a lot of experience in this particular area. Her rates are reasonable and shes taking good precautions during COVID, so I feel safe spending hours in a room with her every few weeks. Please note, however, that electrolysis DOES hurt. Theres pretty much no getting around that fact, unless you separately arrange for a dentist or nurse to give you lidocaine injections right before your appointment. This is probably worth it when you get to the upper lip (OUCH!), but for all other areas its easier to just apply the numbing cream she recommends and cover it with saran wrap to keep it from evaporating. Another tip Im experimenting with is applying the numbing cream, then wiping it off ~30 minutes before treatment and then immediately re-applying it. This fresh second layer of numbing cream might be able to provide extra protection.

Lisa has completely changed my life. I used to be incredible self conscious about my facial hair, I have psoc which makes hair growth on the neck appear no matter how many laser hair removal and threading sessions I would do throughout the years. I was incredibly frustrated with it and spending tons of money on maintenance. After one session with Lisa I saw a significant improvement and PERMANENT HAIR LOSS! I couldnt believe it. Of course it hurts a bit but no more than all the other hair removal techniques. Biggest difference is this actually works!! After a year and 8-9 treatment I have almost nothing on my neck and couldnt be more grateful. Lisa is very sweet, east to talk to, and honest! Couldnt be happier and looking forward to quick touch ups to catch up. Thank you thank you thank. Major game changer!

It’s absolutely the best! I highly recommend her!!She’s detailed and takes pride in what she does. She doesn’t overcharge you. If you ever plan to get work done, go to Lisa. She has a beautiful office in a professional building with easy parking and easy to find.

Lisa is an excellent medical professional, an artist, and a wonderful person. She immediately put me at ease when I spoke with her over the phone. I wanted to have some hair removed from my intimate area, which made me a little nervous. Many electrologists dont work on this area, but Lisa does, and she is extremely professional about it. Wasnt awkward at all.She is exactly the type of person you would want to perform electrolysis/thermolysis on you: clear, careful, sensitive, precise. She uses a state-of-the-art Apilus XCell Pro and she knows how to use it. She also has a variety of probes/needles. She tried every setting and every probe that she had in order to find which would be the most effective at removing my hair, while also keeping any discomfort to a minimum.Her studio is very clean and organized. Shes almost always running right on time, but if shes ever running a few minutes longer with a client, shell send you a text to let you know, which I really appreciate. Five stars for communication!I was planning on trying at least 3 different electrologists in the the Santa Monica/West LA area before deciding on who to go with long-term. But I lucked out on my first electrologist with Lisa. I decided to purchase 10 hour package, which she offers at a reduced hourly rate. Ive already begun recommending her to friends.Also, there has always been plenty of free street parking within half a block of her studio.
