I recently suffered the untimely death of my younger brother and I contacted Solace (as their ad was so professional and appealing). I spoke with the Director, Jocelyn James and she answered all of my questions and concerns. Naturally, I wanted to know the costs, processes, and procedures as I am located in the Inland Empire and my brother died in Los Angeles County. Jocelyn explained in detail the entire process, procedures, and gave me the total cost. She assured me that everything would be handled via electronic mail including signatures, and that I would not even have to come into the office! I was very pleased with her competence and professionalism as I had spoken with two other facilities and they could not give me definitive answers and their prices were higher.Jocelyn, kept me abreast daily or every other day (as she promised), her follow-up was excellent and there was no guesswork I knew what was going on every step of the way. Her remarkable staff assisted with follow up and was readily available during non-traditional hours including weekends! That meant the world to me.Everyone was so compassionate, eager to answer my questions, and the overall experience was wonderful. I will recommend Solace to everyone I know! Jocelyn ensured me that they would take care of everything and they did just so! I received status updates on every action from the start, from working with the Coroners office, collecting my brothers remains, the delivery of my brothers remains, and everything in between! I appreciate how she really listened to my concerns and understood the love I had for my brother and she showed empathy and compassion. This was my first time going thru thus process by myself. They went above and beyond to help me understand the whole process. They would call just to catch up and see how I was doing. I was worried that something might go wrong due to me living in Texas and the passing of my father and the location of this amazing company in California 2k miles away.
