Daniel scammed me! Said he would sell me a phone for a good price, I told him I wasn’t comfortable paying before I got my item and he said that was fine but I needed to pay for shipping. I agreed to pay for the shipping. He asked if I wanted updates to my phone number I said Yes (never received update messages). He showed me a believable shipping label that wasn’t real. He stopped responding to me and I haven’t got my phone.

My screen sensitivity and touch started acting unusual though, but when I messaged them about it they gave me a solution and told me if that didnt work they would exchange it. Overall very pleased.

Very fast even though he was quite busy! Friendly, fast, helpful... Great experience and a great price. He even threw in a free screen protector.He replaced the battery as well as a new screen. One of the best late night options, I gave him a call and the quote he gave was very reasonable so I made the drive from El Segundo to downtown LA, and I am so happy I decided to go. This is not only one of the best experiences Ive had with repairs but one of the best experiences Ive had with a store in general. The guy that helped me (David) was nothing short of exemplary. He was kind and patient even though my frustration was clearly showing. He actually cared about me being a satisfied customer.My charger port broke the day I landed in LA and so I went around looking at prices. I went to the Cheapest iPhone Repair Shop on Flower street and they told me it would be 75$. The guy had the audacity to tell me that was the best price in LA. Me being new to the city I almost believed him but decided to shop around anyways. Called up David next and he told me the repair would be 20$ and if it was beyond repair it would be 50$ to replace. When I met him he was a really cool guy and we just chopped while he explained stuff. Turned out my battery was bad as well and so he ended up giving me a new apple battery (not the cheap crap I was sold before) as well as the port repair for a great price.Im not staying in LA but Im going to tell all my friends here to go there. These iPhone screens break too easy! Thank god for my dudes at Star! No other repair shop near me had the iPhone 6 Plus parts in stock. The repair was about 15 minutes. Apple parts are clear and perfectly. The 6s plus needs the highest quality parts or it wont work the way it should. My sister had referred me after she had her iPhone 6 customized. The gold and diamonds custom iPhone housing looks amazing. It is hard to find an iPhone repair shop that can give custom iPhone housing with warranty and working exactly as Apple does. First of all, these guys will take forever on your phone if you dont actually wait in their store. I left my phone with them for 8 hours and when I picked it up it still wasnt working. Obviously these guys are shady. Still tried to make me pay for his services when the only thing he did was adjust something inside, which took him 8 hours. They will be rude to you on the phone when you call to check up on your phone. These guys act like they know everything but in the end its all for the money and they will be shady about it. People think this place is affordable but in the long run, your phone will have problems after getting it fixed here. Ive gotten my screen fixed here a few times before and after that, I dropped my phone a couple more times WITH my case on and my service stopped working and receiving signals. Took it back to get it fixed and the story above is the result of these lazy, shady, and unprofessional guys. I recommend just going to the Apple Store than having to come back here multiple times because of their laziness.

This was the second time I was going to these guys. They quoted me low over the phone and told me totally available to fix it when I get there is 20 minutes. He changed the price when I got there and he said he would not be able to do it right at that point; and for changing the shattered glass only that he had quoted me it takes two weeks. So I went to another place when they opened the phone, three screws from last time that these guys supposedly changed the glass were loose. I am so happy I did not feed these crooked people.

The Apple Store near me wanted to charge $170 for my iPhone 6s Plus broken screen. The Verizon store charged $200 with mail in service. I couldnt find an iPhone repair store that had the 6s plus screen in stock except star repair. The screen repair was very fast, affordable, and works perfect! I pay my Verizon bill also. No-frills hole-in-the-wall but these guys are for real even if a bit different...old school chatty with customers, and discounts for everything from paying cash to a longer wait than quoted (likely) to driving to the downtown store when Santa Monica is overbusy. Even threw in a free case so my phone would be more protected!
