They don’t know how to use there scheduling app. Set an appointment from my understanding get there at the time of the appointment and then it gets canceled. Nice store waist of my time when I could have went somewhere else

I like the place because its unique in its own way rather than other barbers/salons, in which it stands out. Plain truth is LA is pricey and hair services are no exception.If your style is buzz cut or big huge wavy curls, you might find a better suited pro elsewhere that might even cut for $15 bucks.I did the $15 cut at my local neighborhood barbers. They took longer, created scalp irritation, talked trash to each other, and popped my eardrums with music while I impatiently waited for the haircut to be over. Cream Shoppe is definitely the better deal AND as Ive known for years now, a reliably great haircut each time.Today was no exception.I hadnt had Lino for a personal cut in a while and during Covid, having the shop to myself was kind of nice. Atmosphere is great, D-Mode tunes playing in the background. Took me close to 2hrs with 3 people in-front of me(appointments is key). Wanted a certain cut to a classic style, took barber suggestions and let him do his thang. End result was good, but not what I was looking for. My pessimistic side leads me to suspect the suggestions offered to me where to conserve time and minimize work. However, it might have been a communication error. In terms of value: 25, no shave, gel optional, other places on Cesar Chavez are a much better deal

I like this place , I e been there once and they did a great job getting me the best and perfect haircut I chose, even t a girl did it for me, I also got a complimentary 20 secs shoulder massage 😊, price is like everywhere else in LA. The only problem is the parking.

Lino is the best, and all the other hairdressers who work there are pretty solid too. been getting my hair cut there for almost 3 years now, and will probably keep going there until i move out of LA (if ever). moved out of boule heights a few months ago, but keep going to Lino’s place even if it’s kind of a drive now. highly recommend.And they are right by guisados so you can get some awesome tacos when you’re done w your haircut.

Bruh dude at the end next to restroom cute my hair all whack didn’t listen to what I had asked for and gave me a different haircut but thankfully he didn’t cut a lot of length. The taper fade on the sides is totally wack he missed up and it’s obvious and dude took 5 minutes out of the 2 hour haircut scraping my ear. Then he had charged me 20 bucks like bruh.
