We have been here a few times for the previews and auctions. It is like going to a museum and being able to touch the exhibits, and then take it home if you win the auction. The previews are usually Saturday and Sunday in the afternoon. The auction is the next day or two. If you see something you want to bid on, be sure to register on the preview day or online as it is less busy than the morning of the auction. Also, they have phone and online bidding. If you are there for the bidding, they do provide nice morning and afternoon snacks. It is a lot of fun and free, unless you win the bid at which point it becomes fantastic.Parking is behind both showrooms and free.

Just picked up some product for a client of mine. Took them a long time to locate all the lots. But guy was pleasant and it was fairly hassle free.

Its your high end flea market auction trying to find a home for unwanted and boring stuff.

There cost is outrageous. They sold a picture for me they kept more than 50%.

I am very new to live auctions...in fact, my first experience was with Bonhams in one of their recent events. I have actively participated in several since then and can say without hesitancy that Bonhams is in a class of their own...a class all auction houses should be striving to attain.With Bonhams having such a distinguished reputation and history honestly, I expected to encounter some snootyness, or at least hoity-toityry. Much to the contrary, theyve displayed remarkable candor and tactfully addressed every conversation weve had.My admiration for their manner of business and conduct goes far beyond what I state here, suffice it to say that it is easy to see why they have achieved such high regard and success. I also applaud their decision to remain privately owned in spite of surely receiving some astronomical buyout offers over the years. As commerce goes the way of the corporate conglomerate, its refreshing to see a company proudly remaining autonomous, especially when that company is grounded in honorable practices and policies, as Bonhams has proven themselves to be.

The building clean, plenty of parking was to be had but I was awfully disappointed with what was available for auction. It seemed like the land of unwanted stuff.
